皆さん、こんにちは～♪

Hello, everyone♪

オリジナルバイオ４攻略…続きをやっていきたいと思います。

I’ll continue my walkthrough of the original Resident Evil４.

今回もイベント盛り沢山で前編・後編の２部構成になってしまいましたので、どちらもお見逃しなく！

With so many events packed into this chapter, it ended up being split into two parts again！

Be sure not to miss either one！

アシュリーが罠にかかり、壁の向こう側へ連れ去られてしまいました。

Ashley got caught in a trap was dragged away to the other side of the wall.

そんなアシュリーを助けに行くために、久々のレオン単独行動♪←💧

To rescue Ashley, it’s time for Leon to head out on his own again for the first time in a while♪ ←💧

では、今週も「トレジャーハンターレオン」(バイオ４攻略日記)前編…スタートで～す！

And now, it’s time for another episode of Treasure Hunter Leon (Resident Evil４Walkthrough Diary). Let’s get started！

アシュリーと別れると、すぐに通信が…。

Right after parting ways with Ashley, Leon received a transmission…

ハニガンかと思いきや…何故かサラザールくんからのラブコール💧

Thinking it was Hunnigan, Leon answered the call…but for some reason, it was Salazar on the line💧

前に聴いた、きっしょい笑い声が通信機から鳴り響いています。

That creepy laugh Leon heard before is now blaring through the communicator.

どうやら回線をジャックされたみたい…。

Looks like the communication line has been hijacked…

だから、さっきハニガンとの通信が途中で途切れたのね…。

So that’s why Leon’s conversation with Hunnigan was suddenly cut off earlier…

ご丁寧に…これから待っているものを教えてくれるサラザールくん💧

How thoughtful of him…Salazar even takes the time to tell Leon what’s waiting ahead💧

自分のペットの自慢がしたくて堪らないんだろうね。

He must be dying to show off his pet.

「首を洗って待ってろよ！」という言葉はこんな時に使うべきなのですね。

I guess this is exactly the kind of situation where you’d say, “I’ll be coming for youー so you’d better be ready！

早速、言われた通りに地下水路へ向かいます。

Just as instructed, Leon makes his way to the underground waterway.

梯子を降り、道なりに進んでいくと…、

After climbing down the ladder and following the path ahead…

バシャバシャバシャッ！

Splash！ Splash！ Splash！

何かが、水面を走る音が聞こえてきました。

Leon hears something running across the surface of the water.

角を曲がると…、奥の方に何かが揺らめいて見えます💦

As Leon rounds the corner, he spots something shimmering in the distance💦

…す、透けている‼

…I-it’s transparent!!

アニメ「攻〇機動隊」の光学迷彩みたいになっている生き物がレオンを待ち受けていました！

A creature with a camouflage effect straight out of Ghost in the Shell is waiting for him！

これがさっきサラザールが言っていたペットの面白い虫だったんですね。

So this must be the “interesting bug” Salazar was talking about earlier.

…と、その前に、透明虫がこちらに気付いてないので、脇道の奥にある木箱から800ペセタGET！

…But before dealing with that, the invisible bug hasn’t noticed Leon yet, so he takes a quick detour and grabs 800 Pesetas from a wooden crate tucked away down a side passage！

そして、さっきの透明虫をライフルで処理。

With the treasure secured, Leon takes care of the invisible bug with his rifle.

１発撃ったら、叫び声を上げ姿を現しました…まるで立ち上がったゴキブリみたいなフォルム💧

One shot is all it takes to make it screech and reveal itself…and its appearance is disturbingly similar to giant cockroach standing upright💧

………！

…うっそ～⁉ ライフル3発でやっと倒せた💦

…No way！ It took three rifle shots to finally bring it down💦

多分、今、レベルは最高までいっていると思います。

Leon’s difficulty level has probably reached its maximum by now.

そうそう、オリジナルバイオ４は、レオンが攻撃を喰らわなかったり、死んだりしないと敵がどんどん強くなるシステムなのです。 (限度はありますが…。)

By the way, the original Resident Evil４uses a dynamic difficulty system.

If Leon avoids taking damage and doesn’t die, the enemies gradually become stronger over time. (There is a cap, though.)

ゲーム上では見えないレベルというものがあって、初心者でも上級者でも楽しめる仕様になっています。

The game keeps track of an invisible difficulty level behind the scenes, allowing both beginners and experienced players to enjoy the experience.

そこの絶妙なバランスも、このゲームが評価された一因でした。

That finely tuned balance was one of the reasons the game received so much praise.

そして、この透明虫ノビスタドールを倒すと、手に入る謎の宝石取得。

Defeating this invisible bug, the Novistador, rewards Leon with a mysterious gemstone！

今回は一番手に入りやすいグリーンアイでした💧

This time, it was a Green Eye－ the most common one to find💧

先に進むと、水路に２体のノビちゃん。

Further ahead, Leon spots two Novistadors lurking in the waterway.

水路に降りないで、上のこの位置からライフルを撃てば安全です。

It’s much safer to stay up here and pick them off with the rifle rather than climbing down into the waterway.

おっと、いきなり！倒した１体から一番レアなブルーアイが手に入りました♪

Whoa, right off the bat！

The very first Novistador I took down dropped a Blue Eye－ the rarest one of them all！

ありがとう、ノビちゃん♡ (ドラ〇もんののび太のママがのび太を呼ぶときの言い方💧)

Thanks, Novi-chan♡

(Just like the way Nobita’s mom affectionately calls him “Nobi-chan” in Doraemon💧)

水路から次に行くと、牢屋のような広い空間に出ました。

Beyond the waterway, Leon emerges into a large chamber that looks like a prison.

シャギャ～！

Screeeech！

また、あのノビちゃんの叫び声と、不気味なノビちゃん専用戦闘曲が鳴り出しました。

Once again, the cries of the Novistadors echo through the room, accompanied by their eerie, insect-themed battle music.

何体も同時に相手するのは危険なので、空いてる牢屋に入り、１体１体誘い込んで戦いましょう。

Fighting several of them at once is extremely dangerous, so it’s best to take cover in one of the empty cells and lure them in one by one.

牢屋の左側の通路に行くと、奥に部屋があります。

Following the passage on the left side of the prison area leads to a room at the far end.

部屋にあるバルブをひねると、さっきの牢屋の先にある水溜まりの水が引き、次に進めるようになりました。

Turn the valve inside, and the water in the flooded section beyond the cells will drain away, opening the path forward.

その部屋にある宝箱から「盲目の蝶のランプ」をGET！

Inside the room, Leon finds a treasure chest containing the Butterfly Lamp！

…気になるくぼみが３つありますね。

…And it looks like there are three empty slots in it.

その部屋を出たすぐに２体のノビちゃんに襲われました💦

The moment Leon steps out of the room； he’s ambushed by two Novistadors💦

ライオットガンで倒すと、１体からレッドアイを貰えました♪

After taking them down with the Riot Gun, one of them drops a Red Eye♪

これで３色全部揃いました✨ 早～っ！

And just like that, all three colors are collected✨ That was fast！

先ほど獲った「盲目の蝶のランプ」に３色全てはめ込むと…「輝く幻光蝶のランプ」へと進化しました✨

After fitting all three gemstones into the Butterfly Lamp he picked up earlier, it becomes a dazzling treasure worth far more than before✨

わ～い！これは高値で売れるぞ～♪

Woo-hoo！ This should fetch a nice price♪

そうは言っても、無事に武器商人の所まで辿り着かないと何の意味もありません。

That said, none of it will matter if Leon doesn’t make it to the Merchant in one piece.

先を急ぎましょう💦

Let’s keep moving💦

それでも、容赦なく襲ってくるノビちゃん…しつこいって～

Even so, the Novistadors just won’t leave Leon alone…Man, they’re persistent

倒したら、さっさと次に行きましょ！

Once they’re down, don’t waste any time－ let’s move on！

………んっ！何、ここ～⁉

…Huh？ What is this place？

いきなり、悪魔〇ドラキュラにでも出てきそうなステージ…💧

This suddenly looks like a stage straight out of Castlevania💧

これは確実に即４イベントだよね💦？

This has “instant-death sequence” written all over it, doesn’t it💦？

…でも、

…But then again,

タイミングを見計らって飛べば…どうってことはない！

As long as you time your jumps right, it’s no big deal！

難なくクリアして梯子を登ります。

After clearing the obstacle without much trouble, Leon climbs up the ladder.

レオン「サラザール…こんな大きな装置を軽くクリアして悪いな♪」

Leon: “Sorry, Salazar…but that oversized contraption was a little too easy♪”

なんだか、レオンもこの城の歓迎イベントが楽しくなってきたようです💧

It seems Leon is starting to enjoy the castle’s “welcome events” after all💧

梯子を登ると、すぐに次への扉が…。

At the top of the ladder, Leon finds a door leading onward almost immediately…

森ネズミ～！森ネズミ～‼(空耳)

“Forest mice～！ Forest mice～!!

(Believe it or not, that’s what the Spanish chanting sounds like in Japanese.)

おぉ、やってる、やってる！

Oh wow, they’re really going at it！

これから始まるパーティーに、もうこんなに人が集まっていたんだね♪

Looks like quote a crowd has already gathered for the party that’s about to start♪

じゃあ、レオンもサプライズプレゼントしなくちゃね！

Looks like it’s time for Leon to give them a surprise gift of his own！

ほ～れ、中心にいる赤ローブ信徒に「手榴弾」のプレゼントだぁ～！

Catch！ A grenade for the red-robed cultist standing in the center!!

ドカーン！

BOOM！

さすがに１発の「手榴弾」で４なない赤ローブ。

As expected, the red-robed cultist didn’t go down from a single grenade.

１階にすぐ下りて、追プレゼントをあげましょう。

Quickly head down to the first floor and give him another present.

ハイ、ドーン！

There we goー BOOM！

今回は特別！ベリィ・トゥ・ベリィも追加でお見舞いしちゃうよ♡

And because it’s a special occasion, let’s throw in a Belly-to-Belly suplex as a bonus too!!

すると、赤ローブが「邪悪なる宝玉」という宝石をくれました。

In return, the red-robed cultist handed over a gem called the ‘Evil Jewel.’

なんて、危険で強引なプレゼント交換💧

Talk about a dangerous and one-sided gift exchange…💧

他の普通の信徒たち９人からも、１つずつ「スピネル」のプレゼントを貰いました～♪

The other nine cultists joined in as well, each giving us a Spinel as a little present～♪

そうそう、ここでさっきアシュリーと別れた地点に戻ってきたんですよね。

Oh, right. This brings us back to the spot where we parted ways with Ashley earlier.

一旦、梯子を登って２階に戻ります。

For now, climb the ladder and head back to the second floor.

とぅっ！

”Hup！”

またシャンデリア渡り曲芸で、向こう側に行きます。

Once again, we use Leon’s chandelier-swinging acrobatics to get across to the other side.

…レオン、もう誰も見てないって～💧

…Leon, nobody’s watching anymore～💧

………！

…と思ったら、あら見てたのね💧

…Or so I thought. Turns out someone was watching after all💧

鉄格子の向こうに武器商人…。そこで一体何してるんだい💧？

It’s the Merchant, standing behind those bars…

Just what are you doing over there💧？

このままじゃあ取引できないので、何か仕掛けを解かなきゃいけないみたい…。

We can’t trade with him like this, so it looks like we’ll have to solve some kind of mechanism first…

レオン「いいかい？武器商人…よく見てろよ！」

Leon: “All right, Merchant…watch this！”

はいぃ～っ！

Leon: “Ta-da～！”

ぱちぱち８８…(鉄格子内から武器商人が手を叩いて喜んでいます💧)

Merchant: Clap clap clap！ Bravo👏” (The Merchant happily applauds from behind the bars💧)

向こう側に着くと、ガラスケースに飾られた宝箱が！

Once we make it across, we find a treasure chest on display inside a glass case！

中身はこのゲーム２個目の「くぼみのある仮面」GET！

And inside？ The second ‘Depressed Mask’ in the game！

この城に入ってすぐに入手した「仮面の宝石(紫)」がやっと併せられます。

At long last, we can finally combine this with the Purple Gem we picked up shortly after entering the castle.

その近くにあるレバーを操作すると、鉄格子が上がり、

Pull the nearby lever, and the bars will rise,

やっと、(愛する)武器商人と取引できるようになりました✨

At last, we’re reunited with our beloved Merchant and can finally do business with him✨

２人の間にもう障害はありません…💧

No barriers stand between us anymore…💧

さっきの信徒たちのお陰で「スピネル」９個も持ってる～♪

Thanks to those cultists, we’re got nine Spinels now～♪

他のいらない宝石も売って、

Let’s sell off some of the other gems we don’t need, and…

「輝く幻光蝶のランプ」はなんと32,000ペセタで売れました✨

The Brilliant Illuminados Lamp sold for whopping 32,000 pesetas✨

実は(ネタばれですが)、あとで「盲目の蝶のランプ」がもう1つ手に入るので、グリーンアイなどの宝石は各色1つだけ残して、あとは全て売ってしまいましょう。

This is a bit of a spoiler, but we’ll get another Butterfly Lamp later.

So keep one of each gemー such as the Green Eye－ and sell off the extras.

そして、さっきの赤ローブからのプレゼント。

And then there’s the gift we got from that red-robed cultist earlier.

結構、良い値で売れました。

It actually sold for a pretty good price.

…プレゼント交換だったのに…即売りするなよ～💧

…It was supposed to be a gift exchange, and you sold it immediately💧？

これで(この時点での)武器の強化は全部出来ました！

With that, we’ve fully upgraded all of our weaponsー for the time being！

武器商人との別れを惜しみつつ、次のステージへ。

Reluctantly saying goodbye to the Merchant, we move on to the next area.

ん？…何ここ？

Huh…？ What’s this place？

いちいち家具が高そうです💧

Every single piece of furniture looks ridiculously expensive💧

進む道の方から複数の信徒たちの声が聞こえてきます。

We can hear the voices of several cultists coming from the direction we’re headed.

多分、ものすごく歓迎されるのは分かっています…💧

I have a feeling we’re about to receive a very enthusiastic welcome…💧

「仕方ない…行くか…。」

Leon: “Well…no helping it. Let’ go.”

ありえすた！魔太郎～‼(空耳)

“¡ Ariesta～！ Mataro～!!” (Believe it or not, that’s what the chanting sounds like in Japanese.)

やっぱり大量の信徒たちがレオンを待ちわびていました。

Sure enough, a whole crowd of cultist had been eagerly waiting for Leon’s arrival.

今度の赤ローブは2つの空耳を重ねて叫んでくる歓迎っぷり💧

This time, the red-robed cultist is giving us a double dose of misheard Spanish chants as part of the welcome💧

まずはこの部屋まで逃げて、扉を開けてくる信徒たちに対応しましょう。

First, retreat to this room and deal with the cultists as they come through the door.

そして、階段の上の信徒を倒し、階段を登って２階へ。

Then take out the cultist at the top of the stairs and head up to the second floor.

さっきの大広間の２階に出ました。

We’ve emerged onto the second floor of the grand hall we were in earlier.

弓矢信徒がウザいので、柱の陰から爆発樽をライフルで狙い撃ちましょう。

The crossbow-wielding cultists are nuisance, so use the pillar for cover and snipe the rifle.

全員は巻き込めないので、その他の信徒はライフルで倒します。

It won’t take out everyone, so pick off the remaining cultists with your rifle.

赤ローブをライフルで狙うと奥の部屋に隠れてしまいます。

If you aim at the red-robed cultist with your rifle, he’ll retreat into the room at the back.

赤ローブたちがいた広間近くに行くと、鉄扉は閉ざされ、下の階に降りないと進めなくなってしまいます。

When we approach the area where the red-robed cultists were, the iron gate slams shut, leaving us no choice but to head down to the lower floor to continue.

「おい！この鉄扉の先にいるのは分かっているんだぞ～！」

…だって、モーニングスターはみ出ているもん💧」

Leon: “Hey！ I know you’re behind that gate！

…Your morning star is sticking out, you know💧”

レオンが下に降りると、さっきの鉄扉が開き、赤ローブがレオンがさっきいた反対側の廊下に逃げていきます。

As Leon heads down to the lower floor, the iron gate opens and the red-robed cultist makes a run for the corridor on the opposite sideー the one Leon was just standing on.

「こ、こしゃくな～」

Leon: “Why, you little…“

追いかけてきた盾持ち信徒にベリィ・トゥ・ベリィ！

A Belly-to-Belly suplex for the shield-bearing cultist who came after us！

赤ローブが隠れた小部屋に隠しペセタの箱が4つ！

There are four hidden boxes of pesetas in the little room where the red-robed cultist was hiding！

「わ～い♪ お金だ、お金～♫」

Leon: “Yay～！ Money！ More money～♪”

そのまま階段を登り、赤ローブを後ろから追いかけるとまた逃げてしまうので、広間に戻り…ここからライフルで狙撃します。

If we head up the stairs and chase the red-robed cultist from behind, he’ll just run away again.

So instead, return to the hall and take a shot at him with the rifle from here.

レベルも上がっているし、普段から耐久性のある赤ローブは、それだけじゃあ４にません💧

With the game difficulty increasingー and considering how tough red-robed cultists already areー that alone won’t be enough to kill him💧

すごい早さで廊下を右に逃げていきます💦

He then bolts off down the corridor to the right at an incredible speed💦

後ろから赤ローブを追わず、一旦下に降りて、ツボからアイテム回収。

Instead of chasing after the red-robed cultist, head back down for now and collect the items from the nearby pots.

そして、一番最初にレオンが逃げ込んだ部屋にまた入ります。

Then head back into the room Leon first retreated to earlier.

すると、部屋の入り口にまで赤ローブが逃げてきているので、すぐに攻撃！

As it turns out, the red-robed cultist has fled all the way to the entrance of the room.

Attack him immediately！

「もう逃がさないからな！」

Leon: “You’re not getting away this time！”

やっと、赤ローブを倒すことが出来ました。

At long last, we’ve managed to take down the red-robed cultist.

ちなみに、ここで赤ローブを倒さないと、赤ローブは広間１階まで戻り、ツボが並んでいた中央から機銃に乗って登場します💧

Incidentally, if you don’t kill him here, he’ll make his way back to the first floor of the hall and reappear on the mounted machine gun in the center, where all those pots were lined up💧

倒すのに厄介になるので、絶対ここで仕留めましょう！

That makes him much more troublesome to deal with, so be sure to finish him off here！
