(Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough Diary — Continued)

皆さん、こんにちは～♪

Hello, everyone! ♪

２周目の余裕を警官コスプレで魅せつけてみる…レオンです♪

It’s Leon, showing off how much more confident I am on my second playthrough by sporting a police officer costume! ♪

今回からエイダ編じゃないの～？って思った、そこのキミ！

For those of you thinking, “Isn’t this supposed to be the Ada chapter starting now?”

…まぁ、慌てなさんな。

…Now, now, don’t get ahead of yourselves!

前回、オレ編が無事クリア出来たので、ちょっとした記念というか…お遊びというか…特別なオマケをお送りするぞ♪

Since I successfully cleared my chapter last time, I thought I’d celebrate a little—or maybe just have some fun—with a special bonus story for you all! ♪

では、今週の「トレジャーハンターレオン」(バイオ４攻略日記)特別編…スタートで～す‼

So, without further ado, let’s kick off this week’s special edition of Treasure Hunter Leon (Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough Diary)!!

まずは、前回のクリアデータをロード。

First, I load my clear data from the previous playthrough.

新コスチュームが選べます。

Now I can choose a new costume!

そして、すぐに武器商人と取引！

Then, I immediately head over to do business with the Merchant!

…良かった～、島の爆発に巻き込まれずに生きていたんだね…武器商人♪

…Phew! I’m glad you survived the island explosion, Merchant! ♪

２周目の解放武器「マチルダ」！３点バーストハンドガン‼

The newly unlocked weapon for the second playthrough: the Matilda! A handgun with a three-round burst!

そして、「無限ロケットランチャー」。

And then there’s the Infinite Rocket Launcher!

まずは、今まで愛用していた「パニッシャー」を売り、

First, I sell the trusty Punisher I’ve been using all this time.

最大体力値もMAXになり、回復に余裕があるので、３種のハーブも売ります。

My maximum health is now completely maxed out, and I have plenty of room for healing, so I sell all three types of herbs, too.

そして、「マチルダ」を購入♪

Then, I buy the Matilda! ♪

※「マチルダ」とは？…実際にあるハンドガン「H＆K VP70」をモデルにした架空のもの。

What is the Matilda? …It’s a fictional handgun modeled after the real-life H&K VP70.

名前の由来は、ジャン・レノが演じる映画「LEON」でヒロインの名前が「マチルダ」(ナタリー・ポートマン)から取ったとされている。

It’s said that the name was inspired by Matilda, the heroine played by Natalie Portman in the movie Léon, starring Jean Reno.

限度いっぱいに改造しました

I’ve upgraded it to the absolute maximum!

そして、２周目開始直前の↑アタッシュケース内の様子。

And here’s a look inside my attaché case just before starting the second playthrough.

金色卵、どうにかしないと…そろそろ腐っちゃいそう💧

I’ve got to do something about that Golden Egg… It’s going to rot soon! 💧

(２周目なので)ここから、普通じゃあやらないことをいろいろ試してみようと思います♪

Since this is my second playthrough, I thought I’d try a bunch of things you normally wouldn’t do in the game! ♪

まずは、パトカーを降りた後、村へは行かずに…あのスチャラカポリス２人に話しかけてみると…、

First, after getting out of the police car, instead of heading into the village, I try talking to those two ridiculous cops…

違います！

“That’s not true!”

もう１人の方に話しかけてみると…、

So, I try talking to the other one…

この言われよう！

“And you have the nerve to say THAT?!”

キミらこそ、ここに残ってオレだけ村に行かせようとしただろうがぃ‼

You two were the ones who wanted to stay here and send ME into the village alone, weren’t you?!

そんなことを言ってくるなら、オレだって、抵抗してやる！

If you’re going to talk to me like that, then I’m going to fight back!

パトカーで来た橋を歩いて戻ろうとすると…、

When I try walking back across the bridge we used to get here in the police car…

会ったばかりなのに、めちゃくちゃな言われよう💧

They start insulting me like crazy, even though we’ve only just met! 💧

まさかのバカまで言われちゃいます

I can’t believe they even call me an idiot!

そんなこと言うと、撃っちゃうぞ～！…と銃で威嚇すると、

If that’s how you’re going to talk to me, I’ll shoot you! I say, pointing my gun at them to intimidate them.

と、さらに怒られます💧

And then they get even angrier at me! 💧

もちろん、撃ちませんし…撃つことが出来ません！

Of course, I don’t shoot them… and I can’t shoot them, either!

実際、撃とうとすると←コラ😅 この言葉に遮られて撃てないのです💧

Even if I try to pull the trigger, the line of dialogue interrupts me and prevents me from firing. ← Hey, cut that out! 😅

まぁ、今回は威嚇だけで許しといちゃるっ！

Well, I’ll let you off with a warning this time!

…と池乃めだか師匠の往年のギャグのようにユニフォームの襟を整えながら言うレオン💧

Leon says this while straightening the collar of his uniform, just like one of veteran comedian Medaka Ikеno’s classic old gags! 💧

実際のラクーン警察署で着ていたユニフォームとはいえ、この格好で村にいるとコスプレ感ハンパない💧

Even though this is the same uniform I actually wore at the Raccoon Police Department, wearing it around the village makes me look like I’m in a full-blown cosplay! 💧

これじゃあ、ただのパトロールにしか見えませんね。

I look like nothing more than a cop out on patrol.

ムービーでも、このコスプレ。レオンは必死でも、何故か笑えてしまう。

Even in the cutscenes, I’m still wearing this costume. Leon may be fighting for his life, but somehow, the whole thing is hilarious.

罠にかかったワンコを助ける…コスプレ警官。

A cosplay cop rescues a dog caught in a trap…

ちなみに２周目だからって、この近くにいる２羽のカラスを「閃光手榴弾」で倒すと、このワンコもなぜかヤラれて、助けることが出来なくなるので注意！

By the way, there’s something to watch out for on your second playthrough! If you use a Flash Grenade to take out the two crows nearby, the dog will somehow get killed, too, and you won’t be able to rescue it!

以前、このブログで書いた通り、そのカラスたちは遠目からハンドガンで狙い撃つことをお勧めします。

As I mentioned in an earlier blog post, I recommend picking off those crows from a distance with your handgun instead.

あらあら、２周目だと崖の上の空耳おじさんズ３人組はいないのですね…。

Oh, dear! It seems the three “What the heck did he just say?” guys on the cliff aren’t around on the second playthrough…

せっかく、ユニフォームを魅せびらかそうと思ったのに…残念。

I was looking forward to showing off my uniform to them, too… What a shame!

ルイスと仲良く縛られてしまった…コスプレ警官。

The cosplay cop ends up tied up with Luis.

このままだと、コスプレだけの見掛け倒し？…とルイスに思われちゃうよ💦？

At this rate, Luis is going to think I’m all costume and no substance! 💦

そして、パトロール中に(２周目の)初対面！武器商人と出会う。

And then, during my patrol, I meet the Merchant for the first time on my second playthrough!

チェーンソーさんから貰ったルビーや、途中で拾ったお宝を売り、

I sell the Ruby I got from Mr. Chainsaw and the treasures I’ve picked up along the way.

ハンドガン・マチルダを最大限まで改造出来ました。(チャプター１‐３時点)

I’ve managed to fully upgrade my Matilda handgun! (As of Chapter 1-3.)

そして、ショットガン・セミオートも改造終了。(チャプター１‐４時点)

I’ve also finished upgrading my Semi-Auto Shotgun. (As of Chapter 1-4.)

ライフル・セミオートも最大限に改造出来ました(同じくチャプター１‐４時点)

And I’ve fully upgraded my Semi-Auto Rifle, too! (Also as of Chapter 1-4.)

それでも、ヤラれる時はヤラれるんだよね～💧

But sometimes, I still get my butt kicked anyway! 💧

…と、デルラゴ戦後のボートの上で空を見上げる…コスプレ警官・レオンなのでした。

And so, after the Del Lago battle, the cosplay cop Leon sits in the boat and gazes up at the sky…

そして最後の武器・マグナムもエルヒガンテ戦の直後に最大限に改造出来ました

And finally, right after the El Gigante battle, I manage to fully upgrade my last weapon, the Magnum!

(チャプター２‐１時点)

(As of Chapter 2-1.)

これで、現在持っている武器は、全てMAXの強さに‼

That means every weapon I currently own is now fully upgraded!!

それでも、難易度「ノーマル」なので、アタッシュケースはアイテムで溢れます💦

Even so, since I’m playing on Normal difficulty, my attaché case is overflowing with items! 💦

そして、最後に改造した武器をぜ～んぶ売っぱらって「無限ロケットランチャー」を買ってみました♪

Finally, I sell every single weapon I’ve upgraded and buy the Infinite Rocket Launcher! ♪

装備してロケランを抱えるコスプレ警官・レオン…格好良い♡

Cosplay cop Leon looks pretty cool holding that rocket launcher against his shoulder! ♡

さぁ、アシュリーを助けに行きましょう♪

All right, let’s go rescue Ashley! ♪

まさかのアシュリーもコスチュームチェンジ💦

Believe it or not, Ashley gets a costume change, too! 💦

ミニスカからパンツ姿になったものの、大きく開いて強調された胸元が逆にエロい！

She’s no longer wearing her miniskirt and is now dressed in pants. But with so much of her chest exposed, her new outfit somehow looks even sexier!

そんなアシュリーを(２周目だけど)初めてのお姫様キャッチ♪

And for the first time, even though this is my second playthrough, I get to catch Ashley in my arms like a princess! ♪

…レオン、胸元ガン見出来たかぃ💧？

…Leon, did you get a good look at her cleavage? 💧

そして、ここからはエイダ編(The Another Order)がはじまります！

And now, it’s finally time for Ada’s chapter (The Another Order)!!

レオンがアシュリー救出に奮闘している裏で、エイダは何をやっていたのか？を知ることができるお話。

This is the story that lets us discover what Ada was doing behind the scenes while Leon was busy trying to rescue Ashley.

それでは早速「エイダ・ウォンという女」(続・バイオ４攻略日記)スタートで～す！

So, without further ado, let’s get started with “Ada Wong, the Woman” (Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough Diary — Continued)!

これは序章。

This is the prologue.

やっぱり、エイダの声入りムービーは何故か音なしになってしまう💧

For some reason, the cutscenes featuring Ada’s voice still end up playing without any sound. 💧

(まだ本当の目的は分かりませんが)エイダもあの村に潜入成功！

We don’t know her true objective yet, but Ada has successfully infiltrated the village!

華麗なアクションを魅せてくれます♪

And she shows off some incredibly graceful action moves! ♪

衛星を通してアルバート・ウェスカーがこんにちは！

Albert Wesker pops up to say hello via satellite!

今回エイダは、それ絡みでこの村を訪れた模様。

It seems Ada has come to the village for something related to him.

エイダも洒落た言い回しが好きみたいですね💧

Ada seems to enjoy using clever little turns of phrase, too. 💧

そこに突然の銃声！

Suddenly, a gunshot rings out!

…なんと、１人のイケメンが村人たちに襲われていました！

…And unbelievably, a handsome man is being attacked by the villagers!

それが、まさかのレオン‼

It’s none other than Leon!!

(バイオ２以来)６年ぶりに見たレオンは、整形でもしたのか？ってくらい美形になっておりました。

It’s been six years since we last saw him in Resident Evil 2, and he’s become so handsome that you’d think he’d had plastic surgery!

…よくあのポリポリポリゴン・レオンから、今のレオンのことに気付けたね、エイダ💧

…Ada, how on earth did you recognize him after all that time, considering how he looked back in those blocky old polygon days? 💧

女スパイ・エイダのことです。…きっと、前々からレオンの情報を手に入れていたのでしょうね…。

But then again, Ada is a female spy. I’m sure she’d been gathering information about Leon long before this.

取り敢えず、レオンを助けるために、ウェスカーから貰った情報を頼りに、教会の鐘を鳴らしに行かなければ‼

Anyway, if she’s going to save Leon, she needs to follow the information Wesker gave her and ring the church bell!!

そして、これがエイダの初期装備。

And here’s Ada’s starting equipment.

ショットガンをすでに持っているあたり、何処かのエージェントよりは危機管理には長けてそう💧

The fact that she already has a shotgun makes her seem a little better prepared for emergencies than a certain other agent I know. 💧

そして、何処かからレオンの声が！

Then, I hear Leon’s voice coming from somewhere!

どうやらチェーンソー男と戦っているようです。

Apparently, he’s fighting the Chainsaw Man.

一番大きな家に行ってみるけど…声だけ聞こえて姿が見えない。

I head to the biggest house, but I can only hear his voice. I can’t find him anywhere.

２階に上がってみてもいない。

I go upstairs, but he’s not there, either.

…だったら、↑このショットガン…貰っちゃうわよ！と取ろうとすると…、

…Well, in that case, I’m taking this shotgun! I think, as I reach for it…

さすが、エイダ！

That’s our Ada!

これはレオンのために残しておく…優しさと余裕を見せてくれます♪

She decides to leave it behind for Leon, showing both her kindness and her composure! ♪

なぜか鶏が屋根の上に、「紋章のカギ」を落としていきます。

For some reason, a chicken drops the Insignia Key on the roof.

それをエイダ専用フックショットで屋根に上がり、取ることが出来ました。

Ada uses her special grappling hook to get up onto the roof and retrieve it.

その間も、レオンの戦っている声が！

All the while, I can still hear Leon fighting!

この際、鐘を鳴らしに行く前にレオンに挨拶しとくか♪

At this point, why not go say hello to Leon before heading off to ring the bell? ♪

↑農道方面から、村中心部に戻ると、遠くで村人に追われているレオンが一瞬…横切ります

When I return to the center of the village from the farm path, I catch a fleeting glimpse of Leon running past in the distance, being chased by villagers!

待って～！って、後を追いかけてみるけど、レオンの姿は何処かへ消えてしまう。

“Wait for me!” I call out, trying to chase after him, but he disappears somewhere.

一体、何処で戦ってるの？レオン💧⁉

Where on earth are you fighting, Leon?! 💧

こうなりゃあ、意地でも会いたい！

Now I’m determined to find him, no matter what!

村中を走り回って探してみるけど、レオンのヤラれ声が聞こえるだけで、やっぱり姿が見えない…なんで？

I run all over the village looking for him, but all I can hear are his cries of pain. I still can’t find him anywhere…

WHY?!

レオン「いいから早く教会まで行って、鐘を鳴らしてくれ～💦！」

Leon: “Just get to the church and ring the bell already!!” 💦
