村長の家で、この村の伝承絵本を読む…余裕をブッこいてるエイダです♪
It’s Ada, taking it easy and casually reading a picture book of local folklore in the village chief’s house! ♪
今週も「エイダ・ウォンという女」(続バイオ４攻略日記)…続きをやっていきたいと思います。
This week, let’s continue with Ada Wong: The Woman Behind the Name (Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough Diary — Continued)!
なんとエイダは、ルイスが持っている「プラーガ」のサンプルを受け取るために、この村に潜入したんですね～。
Would you believe it? Ada has infiltrated this village to obtain the Plaga sample that Luis is carrying!
しかも、ルイスは「プラーガ」に携わる研究員だったことも、この時点で分かります。
We also learn at this point that Luis was a researcher involved in Plaga-related work.
レオンと一緒に縛られていた時の自己紹介で、「マドリッドの警官」というのは、やっぱりウソだったんですね。
When he introduced himself while tied up with Leon, he claimed to be a police officer from Madrid. So, that really was a lie after all!
…ハンサムなプーは本当のことみたいですが💧
…Although being a handsome poo seems to be true. 💧
そのルイスが教団側を裏切って、ウェスカーとエイダの所属する組織に接触。
Luis betrayed the cult and made contact with the organization that Wesker and Ada belong to.
それを教団に気付かれ、命を狙われる羽目に！
The cult found out, and now they’re trying to kill him!
…ウェスカーに言われた通り、ルイスに早く接触せねば！
…Just as Wesker told me, I need to get in touch with Luis as soon as possible!
緑矢印…現在地。赤〇…目的地。
The green arrow marks my current location, and the red circle marks my destination.
前回よりもっと広範囲を探索しないといけないようね。
Looks like I’ll have to explore an even larger area than last time.
わぁ💦！ またいきなりの登場…武器商人！
Whoa! 💦 He’s here already… the Merchant!
画面の切り替え後、目の前に現れるのやめてよ～💧
Could you stop appearing right in front of me as soon as the screen changes? 💧
影になって、やけに黒くてビックリするわ～💧
He looks so dark and shadowy that he gives me a fright! 💧
武器商人と取引する前に、このベッドルームを物色。ハンドガンの弾GET!
Before doing business with the Merchant, I’ll search this bedroom first. Got some handgun ammo!
宝石箱のような箱から「卵(白)」をGET!…こんな大事そうにしまわれているなんて、
I found a White Egg in a box that looks like a jewelry case!
They’ve stored it away as if it were something precious…
この村でも「鳥インフルエンザ」や鶏の飼料の値上がりなどのせいで、卵の値段が高騰したのかな💧？
I wonder if egg prices have skyrocketed in this village, too, because of bird flu and rising chicken-feed costs. 💧
そして、まだ武器商人に話しかけず、一旦、教会があった墓地方面に戻ります。
And without talking to the Merchant just yet, I head back toward the cemetery where the church was.
部屋を出て、階段を降りると…３羽のカラスが地面をついばんでいるのが見えます。
I leave the room and go down the stairs… and spot three crows pecking at the ground.
ここはもちろん「閃光手榴弾」でピカッ
Naturally, it’s time for a Flash Grenade and a little flash!
…だって、少しでもペセタとアイテムが欲しいんだもの～💧(生まれつきの強欲)
…I want every peseta and item I can get! 💧 (Greedy by nature.)
レオン編にもあった…井戸の上の「黄銅の懐中時計」もGET!
I also pick up the Brass Pocket Watch above the well, just like in Leon’s story!
その近くのタイプライターがある小屋の木箱から「スピネル」。
From a wooden crate in the nearby shack with a typewriter, I get a Spinel.
この先、バイオ４名物「射撃釣り堀」があるのよね♪
Up ahead is the famous RE4 Shooting Gallery! ♪
でも、井戸の先は↑この言葉で結局行かず…任務優先！
But after seeing the warning above, I decide not to go past the well after all…
Mission first!
さぁ、取る物も取ったし、武器商人のところへ戻るわよ♪
All right, I’ve collected everything I can, so let’s head back to the Merchant! ♪
いつも通り、前回の記事で完成した「仮面」などを売り、
As usual, I sell the Mask I completed in the previous installment, along with a few other items.
「アタッシュケースM」と「ライフルセミオート」を購入。
Then I purchase the Medium Attache Case and the Semi-Auto Rifle.
余裕があったので、「スコープ」も買いました。
I have enough money left over, so I buy a Scope, too.
ここでやっと、次に進めます。
Now I can finally move on.
廊下に出ました。
I step into the hallway.
レオン編だと、村人がいる気配がありましたが、やけに静かです。
In Leon’s story, there were signs that villagers were nearby, but it’s awfully quiet here.
それにしても、エイダ編はアイテムよりもペセタを拾うことが多い💧
Come to think of it, in Ada’s story, I seem to find more pesetas than items. 💧
村長の家のタンスや食器棚、ガラスケースなどから、村長のへそくりを根こそぎGETしちゃいました。
I ransack the chief’s dressers, cupboards, glass cabinets, and everything else, making off with every last bit of his secret stash!
あ！ 失礼💦 入ってましたか💦
Oh! Sorry! 💦 Someone was in there!
レオン編でもあった…階段のデッドスペースにあるトイレ。
Just like in Leon’s story, there’s a toilet tucked into the dead space beneath the stairs.
エイダ編だと、女村人が使用中なんですね💧
But in Ada’s story, a female villager is using it. 💧
…って、便器は男性用なのですが…掃除でもしてたのかな？
…Though the toilet is designed for men. Was she cleaning it or something?
エイダもやっぱり容赦なく、女村人を始末。
Ada shows no mercy and takes the woman out, too.
この汚れよう…さっきの女村人、掃除してたわけじゃあないみたい💧
Judging by how filthy the place is, it doesn’t look like that woman was cleaning anything after all. 💧
↑呆れたエイダもこの一言。
Even Ada is appalled, and she has this to say!

And now, it’s time for a change of program…
[The Female Spy Ada’s Home Inspection!]
「プラーガ」を植え付けられても食事はまとも？
Can these villagers still eat proper meals even after being infected with Plaga?
任務優先！ それが無ければ、絵本も読みます。
Mission first! If I didn’t have a mission to complete, I’d read picture books, too.
居間に飾ってあった絵画。村長…けなされてますよ～💧
Here’s a painting displayed in the living room. The village chief is getting roasted in this one! 💧
でも、エイダだったら、こういう絵画の価値を見る目がありそう…。
Still, Ada looks like the kind of woman who’d know how to recognize the value of a painting like this…
チーン！
Ding!
レンジからは「金色卵」！ これは嬉しい♪
A Golden Egg from the microwave! Now that’s a nice find! ♪
そのレンジを開ると同時に、中から飛び出てきたコッコ💧
The moment I open the microwave, a chicken comes flying out! 💧
きっと、さっきの金色卵を産んだコッコです。
I’m sure it’s the very chicken that laid that Golden Egg.
村長宅で暴れまわっています。羽根飛びまくりで、汚い村長の家が余計に汚れそう…。
It’s running wild all over the chief’s house, scattering feathers everywhere. This filthy house is about to get even dirtier…
…なので、撃ってみちゃった～💦
…So, I tried shooting it! 💦
…けど、何も出ない。
…But nothing came out.
バイオ５のコッコように、撃っても卵を落とさないんですよね💧
Just like the chickens in RE5, it doesn’t drop an egg when you shoot it. 💧

(Sound on ↑)
今度はドアの建付けをチェック。なかなか丈夫な作り。脚でドアを蹴たぐる…粗暴なエイダ💧
Next, it’s time to check the door’s construction.
It’s surprisingly sturdy. Ada gives the door a good kick with her foot… What a rough-and-tumble woman! 💧
…一瞬、写る…さっきのコッコの４かばねにもご注目💦！
…And for just a moment, you can see the four chicken corpses from earlier, so keep an eye out for those, too! 💦
その他、棚にあった物騒なものを取りつつ、お宅チェック終了。
After collecting a few other dangerous-looking items from the shelves, the home inspection is complete.
総合評価…(A～E評価の)最低のE！
Overall rating… the lowest possible grade: E!
エイダ「とにかく、衛生面が最悪ね
村長なのだから、もっと良い召使を雇いなさい！」
Ada: “Anyway, the hygiene here is absolutely terrible! You’re the village chief, so hire some better servants!”
…と手厳しい評価を残して、村長宅を後にするのでした。
And with that scathing review, Ada leaves the chief’s house.
お宅チェックも終わったし、もうこの家には用はないわね。
Well, the home inspection is over, so there’s no reason to stay here any longer.
外に出ると…、あ～、やっぱり、いる、いる！
I step outside… and, yep! There he is!
量産型チェンソー男‼
Another mass-produced Chainsaw Man!!
他の村人たちを巻き込みながら、そのままライフルの弾をお見舞い。
I take him out with rifle shots, catching some of the other villagers in the crossfire along the way.
わぁ～お、でっかいルビー♪
Whoa! A huge Ruby!
チェーンソー男を倒したら、貰えました！ エイダも女性。…宝石、だ～い好き♡
I got it for defeating the Chainsaw Man! Ada’s a woman, after all. …And women LOVE gemstones! ♡
ありがとう、チェンさん♪
Thanks, Mr. Chainsaw!
その後も、村人がエイダと遊びたくて多数登場！
After that, even more villagers show up, eager to play with Ada!
村中心部へ続く道の途中の鳥の巣からは「ハンドガンの弾」。
I find some Handgun Ammo in a bird’s nest along the path leading to the center of the village.
小屋から飛び出てくる…通称・「ごへろー」おばさんをナイフで撃破！
Then I take out the woman who comes bursting out of a shack — the one nicknamed “Gohe-ro” — with my knife!
小屋の中から「レッドハーブ」をGET!
Inside the shack, I find a Red Herb!
やっぱり、村へと続く大扉の前には村人が待機していました。
As expected, more villagers are waiting in front of the huge gate leading to the village center.
このエイダ編、女村人が多めに登場するのは、エイダが女性だから？
Are there more female villagers in Ada’s story because Ada herself is a woman?
…全員倒すと、弾がカツカツ💧
…If I kill every last one of them, I’ll run dangerously low on ammo. 💧
ここで、一旦、村長の家にいる武器商人の所まで戻ることにします。
So, for now, I decide to head back to the Merchant at the chief’s house.
理由は、村人たちが「マシンピストルの弾」ばかり落とすから。
The reason? The villagers keep dropping TMP Ammo.
「マシンピストル」をまだ持っていないので、買いに行くためです。
I don’t own a TMP yet, so I’m going to buy one!
村長の家の前に「スピネル」。
There’s a Spinel in front of the chief’s house.
レオン編では、いっぱい拾えるけど、エイダ編では貴重品。
In Leon’s story, you can find plenty of them, but in Ada’s story, they’re precious commodities.
２階にいる武器商人に、さっきの「ルビー」や「スピネル」を売りつけ、
I sell the Ruby and Spinel I just collected to the Merchant upstairs.
(エイダ「本当はルビーは売りたくないんだけど…これも任務のため。」と泣く泣く手放すエイダ。)
(Ada reluctantly parts with the Ruby, thinking, “I’d really rather not sell this Ruby… but it’s all for the mission.”)
やっと、「マシンピストル」を手に入れました。
And finally, I get my hands on a TMP!
これで、よし！っと。さぁ、村中心部に戻るわよ！
All right, now we’re ready! Let’s head back to the village center!
村中心部もやっぱり大勢の村人がお出迎え。
Sure enough, a large crowd of villagers is waiting to welcome me to the village center.
(↑音なし)
(Sound off ↑)
相変わらずの、近距離じゃあないと威力が出ない「ショットガン」と「マシンピストル」で空耳村人たちを蹴散らしました。
As usual, I scatter the villagers with my Shotgun and TMP, neither of which packs much of a punch unless I’m at close range.
う～ん、ペセタしか落とさないなぁ💧
Hmm… they’re only dropping pesetas.
村の木箱と樽は復活していて、新たなアイテムが手に入るのですが、弾が少なく、このままじゃあ弾切れになりそう。
The wooden crates and barrels around the village have respawned, so I can get new items from them. But my ammo supply is running low, and at this rate, I’ll soon be out completely.
なぜか、大きな家の棚にも「卵(茶)」が飾られている。
For some reason, there’s even a Brown Egg displayed on a shelf in the big house.
高騰する卵の値段問題…どうにかして欲しいですよね💦
Someone really needs to do something about those skyrocketing egg prices! 💦
↑ここの屋根の上に光るもの。
Look at that shiny object on the roof!
一番最初に村に来た時は「スピネル」。今度は「ショットガンの弾」。
The first time I came to the village, it was a Spinel. This time, it’s Shotgun Ammo.
ありがたい♪
I’ll take it! ♪
また、エイダのお宅チェックが始まり、
And now, Ada’s home inspection begins again!
エイダ「不潔なのよ！キレイにしなさい‼」
Ada: “This place is filthy! Clean it up! ‼”
…と、その家にいた村人に蹴りをお見舞い！
…She delivers a kick to a villager inside the house!
「汚い」…じゃあなくて「小汚い」という言い回しがエイダらしい💧
Calling a place “grubby” rather than simply “dirty” feels very Ada-like. 💧
もう、小汚い家は見飽きたわ！ 次に行きましょ‼
I’ve had enough of these grubby houses! Let’s move on! ‼
すると、農作業に勤しむ村人たちを発見。気付かれる前にヤッておきましょう。
Then I spot some villagers hard at work in the fields. Better take them out before they notice me.
…と発砲したら、まだまだたくさんいらっしゃいました💧
…But when I open fire, I discover there are still plenty more of them! 💧
新品の「マシンピストル」と蹴りで対処。銃の他に、ハイヒールも武器になるのです。
I deal with them using my brand-new TMP and some kicks.
A gun isn’t the only weapon I have. My high heels can be deadly, too!
一旦、落ち着いたので、井戸で光る物を撃ち落とします。これは、高額お宝♪
Once things have settled down, I shoot down the shiny object hanging above the well. This should be a valuable treasure!
…と思ったら「スピネル」。懐中時計じゃあないんだ お宝単価下がってる
…Or so I thought. It’s a Spinel.
It’s not the Pocket Watch?! The value of the treasures has gone down!
↑本当にそう…。不潔だし、お宝も高額じゃあないし…。(根っからの強欲)
↑ Exactly! The place is filthy, and the treasures aren’t even worth much… (Greedy to the core.)
あ！ 屋根の上に光る物が♪
Oh! There’s something shining on the roof! ♪
(↑音なし)
(Sound off ↑)
な～んだ、また「スピネル」
What?! Another Spinel?!
一番大きな建物では↑こんなものを拾い、
Inside the biggest building, I pick up something like this ↑.
屋根を伝って、農場の左側へ行くと…あら、まだ村人がいたのね。
I make my way across the rooftops to the left side of the farm… Oh, there’s still another villager here.
こちらに気付いてないから、上から攻撃。
He hasn’t noticed me, so I’ll attack from above!
ここの隠れ小屋には、
Inside this hidden shack,
「手榴弾」がありました。
I find a Hand Grenade.
その近くの大扉の先には進めないみたい。
It looks like I can’t get through the big gate nearby.
梯子を登り、レオン編でお宝「ステイン」を拾った場所。
I climb the ladder and reach the spot where Leon found the treasure called the Elegant Headdress in his story.
エイダ編では「金の腕輪」でした。
In Ada’s story, it’s a Golden Bangle instead.
エイダ「レオン編よりお宝単価下がってない？ 贔屓だわ‼」
Ada: “Isn’t this treasure worth less than the one in Leon’s story? This is favoritism! ‼”
もう、しょうがないわね～💧 みんなレオンに甘いんだから！
Oh, come on! 💧 Everyone’s always so soft on Leon!
とにかく、次に進みましょ‼
Anyway, let’s move on! ‼
ここの坂は………何もないわね。
There’s… nothing on this slope.
…と思いきや、トンネル前から一旦、坂に戻ろうとすると…、
…Or so I thought! When I turn back toward the slope from the tunnel entrance,
「フックショット」の文字が！
the words “Grapple Hook” appear!
どうやら、上に見える吊り橋に登れるようです。
Apparently, I can use it to reach the suspension bridge above.
(↑音あり)
(Sound on ↑)
吊り橋の上に行くと、村人２人が待ち構えていました。
Two villagers are waiting for me on the bridge.
村人を倒し、吊り橋の両脇に樽を発見！
After taking them out, I spot barrels on both sides of the bridge!
なんと、中から「くぼみのあるステイン」GET!
And guess what? Inside one of them, I find a Dirty Brass Pocket Watch — the one with the recess for a gemstone!
こんな見落としやすいところに、大事なお宝があるなんて💦 危ないところだったわ！
Who knew such an important treasure was hidden in such an easy-to-miss spot? 💦 That was a close call!
もう、何もないので、ここから飛び降りてトンネルに向かいましょ♪
There’s nothing else here, so I’ll jump down and head toward the tunnel! ♪
この先のトンネルは………何もない。
There’s… nothing in this tunnel.
…って、天井に連なった「スピネル」もないじゃない！
Wait a minute! Where are the Spinels hanging from the ceiling, like in Leon’s story?!
いるのは、ダイナマイト片手の村人…結局、敵だらけ💧
The only things waiting for me are villagers carrying dynamite…
In the end, it’s enemies everywhere! 💧
もう、片っ端から、ライフルで片づけてやる！(八つ当たり)
Fine! I’ll take every last one of them out with my rifle! (Taking out my frustration on them.)
ここの鳥の巣くらい、レオン編並みのお宝、あるわよね？
At least the bird’s nest here should have treasure as good as the one in Leon’s story, right?
でも、やっぱり「スピネル」
But, of course, it’s just another Spinel!
そのすぐそばの草に覆われて見えにくい木箱は…？
And what about that wooden crate, almost hidden by the grass nearby?
ペセタか～い！
Just pesetas?! ‼
小屋の中にも村人たちの声💧
I can hear villagers inside the shack, too. 💧
入手する弾数と敵の数が割に合わない。
The amount of ammo I get simply isn’t worth the number of enemies I have to fight.
さっきから村人は少量のペセタしか落とさないし…。
The villagers have been dropping only tiny amounts of pesetas this whole time…
(↑音あり)
(Sound on ↑)
ダイナマイトを狙ってたのに、前にいた村人が邪魔でなかなか当たらず💧
I was aiming at the dynamite, but the villager standing in front of it kept getting in the way, so I couldn’t hit it. 💧
近くてちょっと危なかったわね💦
That was a little too close for comfort! 💦
その後、狙ったわけじゃなく、普通に撃っただけなのにダイナマイトに当たり、なぜか爆発…。
Then, without even aiming at the dynamite, I fired a normal shot… and somehow hit it, causing it to explode!
↑その小屋の木箱からアイテムを取りました。
↑ I collected an item from a wooden crate inside that shack.
奥の部屋も調べてみようとすると…、
When I try to investigate the room at the back…
(↑音あり)
(Sound on ↑)
なぜか村人に背負われているルイス…そして、レオンの姿が！
For some reason, Luis is being carried on a villager’s back… and Leon is there, too!
さすがに驚くエイダ。レオンの安否が心配です。
Ada is understandably shocked. She’s worried about Leon’s safety.
「マキロン！ マキロン‼」(空耳)って言ってる村人に連れ去られるレオンとルイスの跡を追わなければ！
I have to follow Leon and Luis, who are being carried away by a villager shouting “Makiron! Makiron!!” (That’s what it sounds like to me!)
目的地が変更され、来た道を戻らなくてはいけなくなりました。
My destination has changed, and I have to retrace my steps.
しかし、今までよりもっと過酷な出来事が待っていそうです。
But it looks like even more brutal challenges are waiting for me this time.
