Hello, everyone！
では、今回も「トレジャーハンターレオン」(バイオ４攻略日記)…スタートで～す！
Alright, it’s time for another episode of Treasure Hunter Leon (Resident Evil ４ Playthrough Diary)１
前回、湖の対岸にある小屋で意識を失って倒れてしまったレオン。
Last time, Leon collapsed and lost consciousness in cabin on the far side of the lake.
教団からされた首注射のせいで、レオンは自身の体内に異変が起こっていることを感じているのでした。
Because of the injection the cult gave him in the neck, Leon could feel that something strange was happening inside his body.
気を失ったままのレオン。
Leon remained unconscious.
レオンの体内で蠢く何か…。
Something writhed inside Leon’s body…
身体中の血管が浮き出て、叫び声を上げるレオン…。
Veins bulged all over his body as Leon let out a scream…
とうとう、レオンもあの村人たちのようになってしまうのか…？
Was Leon finally going to become like those villagers…？
…と思ったら、夢。
…Or so it seemed. It was just a dream.
さすがのレオンも憔悴しきったこの表情…。
Even Leon looked completely exhausted for once…
ハニガンにすぐ連絡…。
He contacted Hunnigan right away.
話の途中の英語でハニガンに対して「オレがいなくて寂しかったってことか？」…と言っているんですが💧(日本語ではそんなニュアンスはない。)
In the middle of the conversation, he says something to Hunnigan along the lines of, ‘Did you miss me that much？’ 💧
(The Japanese version doesn’t really have that nuance.)
…結構、自惚れが強いですね…レオン💧
…Leon’s pretty full of himself, huh💧？
そして、その小屋に落ちていた手紙。…多分、あの人からですよね？
And then there was the letter lying in the cabin…It was probably from that person, right？
レオンの身体に棲みついた「プラーガ」のことをいってるんだろうけど…、おいおい💦 最後に強烈な一言を浴びせるなよ～💧
He’s obviously talking about the Plaga living inside Leon’s body, but come onー what a brutal line to end the letter with💧
レオン(結構…冷たくて、さっぱりしてるな～。…普通に落ち込むわ～💧)
Leon: (Man, she’s pretty cold and blunt…Honestly, that kinda hurts💧)
でも、これがこの女(ひと)の心配・忠告の仕方なんでしょうね…。
But I guess this is just her way of showing concern and giving advice…
外に出ると、もう真っ暗！
When he stepped outside, it was already pitch-black！
しかも、激しい雷雨⚡
And on top of that, there was a violent thunderstorm⚡
このまま、この扉を進め！…といってるんでしょうが、
The game’s basically telling you, ‘Now move forward through this door！’ but…
ここは寄り道！
This is the perfect time for a detour！
またボートに乗って、湖に繰り出しましょう♪ 深夜、雷雨の中のクルージング✨スタート！
Hop back on the boat and head out onto the lake again♪
A late-night cruise through a thunderstorm begins now✨
…決して豪華だとはいえませんが…「デルラゴ」のいない湖は安全です♪
…I wouldn’t exactly call it Luxurious, but at least the lake is safe now that Del Lago is gone♪
しばらく、軽快にボートを飛ばすと…、おや⁉ 見たことのある青い炎が！
After speeding across the water for a while…huh？ That familiar blue flame！
こんなところに武器商人✨！
A merchant in a place like this✨
また、すごい場所で営んでますね💧…こんなところで経営したって、儲からないでしょ？
He really sets up shop in the craziest locations💧
…There’s no way he’s making any profit out there, right？
異国のエージェント以外、誰が来るっての？ (今まで「デルラゴ」もいたし…)
Who else is gonna come all the way out here besides some foreign agent？
(Especially with Del Lago around until now…)
でも、某コンビニの宣伝文句のように…「開いてて良かった♡」って感じなんですかね💦？
Still, I guess this is one of those ’Thank goodness they were open♡’ moments, huh💦？
店の右上にあるたいまつから「スピネル」。
A Spinel can be found by shooting down the torch on the upper right side of the shop.
左横の木箱を押して、
Push the wooden platform on the left side, and…
梯子を登り、
Climb up the ladder, and…
また木箱を押した先の樽を壊すと、
Then push another wooden crate and smash the barrel beyond it, and…
仮面の宝石(緑)をゲット！
Got the Elegant Mask Gem (Green)！
仮面のお宝を完成させるためには、わざわざここまで取りに来ないといけないんですね💦
So, you actually have to come all the way back here just to complete the mask treasure set💦
早速、組み合わせてみました✨
I combined it with the mask right away✨
残り2つ、くぼみがあるので、まだ売れませんね。
There are still two empty slots left, so it’s not already to sell yet.
「ステイン」、「仮面」以外のお宝・宝石を売り、
After selling the Stain, the mask, and the other treasures and gemstons…
武器の改造にお金を使いました。
I spent the money on weapon upgrades.
ありがとう、武器商人♪ また頼むよ✋
Thanks, Merchant♪ I’ll be counting on you again✋
ちなみに武器商人を殺してしまうと…そのセーブデータのその場の武器商人は２度と出てこなくなるので注意！
By the way, if you kill the Merchant…the one in that location will never appear again in that save file, so be careful！
無益な殺生はしてはいけません‼
No pointless killing allowed!!
ふたたび、倒れた小屋前まで戻ってきました。
We’ve made it back to the cabin where Leon collapsed.
この扉の先に進まないといけないみたいです💧
Looks like we have no choice but to head through this door💧
扉に入ると、待機していた村人の頭が…グシャア～！
As soon as you enter the door, the head of a waiting villager suddenly splatters everywhere！
とうとう「プラーガ炸裂おじさん」登場です💦
At last, the ’Plaga-bursting guy’ makes his appearance💦
ここは(アイテム減らしのためもあるが)「閃光手榴弾」で殲滅です！
This is where we wipe them out with a flash grenade (partly to clear up inventory space, too) ！
さすがに「レベル」が上がっているから、２人目のおじさんもあっさり「プラーガ」炸裂してきます💧
As expected, the enemies are getting stronger now, so the second guy also quickly triggers a Plaga burst💧
ここは「ライフル」で仕留めましょう！
Let’s take him down with a rifle here！
細道を抜けると、ダムに来ました…といっても、手作り感満載の小さなダムです。
After passing through a narrow path, we’ve arrived at a dam…though it’s more like a small, makeshift one.
教祖に言われて、村人たちが必死に造ったんだろうな～💦
I bet the villagers were forced to build this under the cult leader’s orders💦
この脇道にある木箱から「手榴弾」ゲット！
Grab a grenade from the wooden crate along this side path！
崖の上にいるうちに、ハンドガンで木箱を２か所…撃ち落としておきましょう♪
While you’re up on the cliff, shoot down two wooden crates with your handgun♪
そして、やっかいな「見張り村人」を「ライフル」で狙撃！
And then snipe the troublesome lookout villager with a rifle！
それから、下に降りましょう。
Then head down below.
ロープで下に降りて、すぐに振り返った頭上に「スピネル」。
Climb down the rope, then immediately turn around－ there’s a Spinel above you.
３つ目の木箱を撃ち落とすと、向こう岸に渡れるようになります。
Shooting down the third wooden crate will let you cross over to the other side.
レバーを引くと、滝が割れて、滝の下の洞窟に入れるようになりました。
Pulling the lever splits the waterfall open, revealing a cave behind it that you can now enter.
洞窟の入り口に行こうとすると…、村人さんが団体で押し寄せてくるので、
As you try to head toward the cave entrance…a group of villagers comes rushing in, so…
木箱を飛び越えて、この位置まで戻って迎え撃つと楽勝です♪
If you jump over the wooden crates and fall back to this spot, it makes it much easier to hold them off♪
みんな、「ワ―、ワー」楽しそうに川に落ちて行ってくれます😅
They all go happily shouting ‘Waaah, waaah’ as they fall into the river😅
村人を一掃して、優雅に梯子を登ると光輝くお宝が！(上からの方が撃ち落としやすいです)
After wiping out the villagers, we climb the ladder at a leisurely paceー and a shining treasure appears！ (It’s easier to shoot it down from above.)
「琥珀の指輪」ゲット♪
Got the Amber Ring！
洞窟に入って、「丸い紋章」を入手。
Enter the cave and obtain the round emblem.
ハニガンにそのことを報告。
Report that to Hunnigan.
…早く教会に、行け、行け！ うるさいねん
…’Get to the church already！’ She’s really nagging, huh
扉を出たすぐの「たいまつ」をナイフで壊すと「スピネル」があるので忘れずに！
Break the torch right outside the door with your knife to find a Spinel, don’t forget it！
…しかし、「スピネル」って、よくこういう所にあるけど、焼くと何か良いことあるの💧？
…But seriously, Spinels are always hidden in places like thisー does burning them do something good or what💧？
ボートに乗って、道なりに進むと…
Hop on the boat and follow the path…
なんだぁ～、前に会ったことがある武器商人じゃあないか！ …ここまで戻って来れたんだね♪
Oh, it’s that Merchant we met before！
…So, he made it all the way back here too♪
不要なお宝を売り、
Sell off the unnecessary treasures, and…
(この時点での)残りの改造制覇！
Maxing out all available upgrades at this point！
しっかりお宝・お金を回収してるんで、余裕があります✨
Thanks to carefully collecting treasures and money, we’ve got plenty to spare✨
武器屋を後にすると…再び、このコロシアムみたいなところへ。
Leaving the merchant behind, we head back into what looks like a colosseum-like area.
…嫌な予感がプンプンします💧
…Something feels very wrong about this💧
大きな扉が閉まり…やっぱり、閉じ込められた～💦
The large doors slam shut…yep, we’ve been locked in💦
レオン「え～～～っ💦⁉」
Leon: “Whaー what💦?!”
村人さんたちが登場！ スペインの村名物(？)綱引き大会が始まりました。
Villagers appear！
The Spanish specialty (？) tug-of-war tournament has begun.
それを止めもせず、ボーっと眺めているレオン。
And Leon just stands there, watching blankly.
レオン(…何かの催しかな～♪)
Leon: “…Is this some kind of festival or something♪？”
バ～～～ン！
BANG！
エルヒガンテ「ど～も～！ 対戦相手で～す♪」
El Gigante: “Hey there～！ I’m your opponent♪”
綱引き大会…村人VSエルヒガンテの始まりです！
The tug-of -war tournament…Villagers vs. El Gigante begins！
…そんな、デッカイ「エルヒガンテ」に小村人たちは勝てるはずなく…次々と倒されていく始末…。
…There’s no way those tiny villagers could stand a chance against such a gigantic El Gigante…and one after another, they get taken out.
最後の２人の村人は、１人は掴まれて、もう１人にぶち当てられて…ダブルダウン💧
As for the last two villagers, one gets grabbed and slammed into the other…double knockout💧
某MLBスカウト「キミ～、良いコントロールしているね～♪ 身体つきも良いし…うちの球団に来ないか？」
Some MLB scout: ’Hey kid, you’ve got the build for it too…how about joining our team？’
…ってなくらいの制球力‼
…That’s how insanely accurate his aim is!!
レオン(もう、「綱引き大会」じゃあないじゃん💧)
Leon: “This isn’t even a tug-of-war tournament anymore💧”
村人がいなくなると、今度はレオンに襲い掛かる「エルヒガンテ」。
Once the villagers are gone, El Gigante turns his attention to Leon.
アッパーを繰り出しますが、それをバック転でかわすレオン…格好良すぎます♡
He throws a powerful uppercut, but Leon dodges it with a backflip…way too cool♡
これは好みですが…私は「エルヒガンテ」とは「マシンピストル」で遊ぶのが好きです♪
This part comes down to personal preference, but…I like messing around with El Gigante using the TMP♪
一定のダメージを与えると、背中から「プラーガ」を出すので、よじ登って「ナイフ」切りのQTE！
Once you deal enough damage, a Plaga bursts out of its back, so climb on and trigger the knife-slashing QTE！

レオン「あれ？ エルちゃん、本気で怒っちゃった⁉」
Leon: “Huh？ Did El Gigante get seriously mad now?!”
わお～ん！
Dog: “Awoooo！”
「エルヒガンテ」と戯れていると…序盤で助けたワンコが…！
While Leon’s busy playing around with El Gigante, the dog he saved earlier shows up！
「エルヒガンテ」を引きつけてくれます♪ …ありがとう、ワンコ
The dog keeps El Gigante distracted for us♪ …Thanks, doggo
ワンコのおかげで、なんとか倒すことができました✨
Thanks to the dog, we somehow managed to take it down✨
何故か、自動で開く木製扉…💧 どういう機能になってるの⁉
And for some reason, the wooden gate opens automatically💧
What kind of mechanism is that?!
まぁ、大金も貰えたし…ホクホクです♡
Well, we got a huge pile of money out of it, so I’m happy♡
周りを見渡すと、もうワンコの姿は何処にもありません…。
Looking around, the dog is already nowhere to be seen…
…格好良いじゃあないか…ワンコ…✨ ヒーローのように去っていくなんて…！
Pretty cool, huh, doggo✨ Leaving like a true hero！
小屋の中や、荷台の上のアイテムをくまなく入手！
Make sure to grab every item inside the cabin and on top of the wagon！
この場を後にし、教会へ。
With that done, we leave the area and head for the church.
…吊り橋まで戻ってきました。途中の小屋の木箱が復活しているので、ちゃんとチェックしてね♪
…We’ve made it back to the suspension bridge.
The wooden crates in the cabin along the way have respawned, so don’t forget to check them♪
教会の近くに怪しい影が！ 「ライフル」のスコープを覗いて確認。
There’s a suspicious figure near the church！
Take a look through the rifle scope to check it out.
レオン「あ！あのワンコ⁉」…と思いきや、
Leon: “Ah！ Is that the dog?!”
But then again…
違う！ 「コルミロス」じゃ～ん💦‼ (ワンコと違って)可愛くない！可愛くな～い💦‼
Nope！ It’s a Colmillos💦
(Unlike the dog,) it’s not cute！ Not cute at all!!
素早い動きの「コルミロス」３匹をなんとか倒し、教会前までたどり着きました。
After somehow taking down the three fast-moving Colmillos, we finally made it to the front of the church.
教会に入る前に、木の上の鳥の巣も復活してるのでお忘れなく！
Before entering the church, don’t forget that the bird nest up in the tree gas respawned too！
さっき拾った「丸い紋章」を使って、いよいよ教会内部へ！
Using the round emblem, we picked up earlier, it’s finally time to head inside the church！
ん…？ 誰もいない…。
Hm…？ There’s nobody here.
奥の棚にある3,000ペセタ入手。…もしかして、供え物⁉ レオンって、罰とか考えなそう…💧
Grab the 3,000 pesetas from the shelf in the back.
…Could that have been an offering？
Leon doesn’t seem like the type to worry about divine punishment💧
でも、高額なのでありがたく頂いちゃいましょう♪←オマエモナ～💧
But hey, it’s a lot of money, so let’s gladly take it anyway♪ ← You’re one to talk💧
右の脇道に「閃光手榴弾」。
There’s a flash grenade in the passage on the right.
左の道から梯子を登り２Fへ！
Go up the left path and climb the ladder to the second floor！
頑丈な鉄格子に囲まれたこの部屋にアシュリーがいそう…。
It looks like Ashley might be inside this room surrounded by sturdy iron bars…
シャンデリアを渡って、向こう側へ！ 即飛びすれば簡単に渡れます♪
Cross over using the chandelier to reach the other side！
If you jump right away, it’s an easy crossing♪
このレオンの身軽さよ…💧
Leon’s agility is seriously ridiculous…💧
レオン「あ、サドラー様、ちーっす！」
Leon: “Oh, hey there, Lord Saddler～！”
左の通路から「焼夷手榴弾」ゲット！
Grab an incendiary grenade from the passage on the left！
はい、きました！ 今回の小謎解き‼
Alright, here we go！ It’s time for this chapter’s little puzzle!!
赤２回・緑３回・青１回ね♪
Turn the red one twice, the green one three times, and the blue one once♪
色が合わさり、教団のマークになりました✨
The colors combine to form the cult’s emblem✨
すると、鉄格子が天井に上がり、さっきの部屋に入れるようになりました✨
Then the iron bars rise up into the ceiling, allowing us to enter the room from earlier✨
中に入ると人影が！…大統領の娘アシュリー・グラハム嬢登場♪
As soon as we enter, we spot a figure inside！
…And there she isー the President’s daugter, Ashley Graham♪
ん…？このレオンの目線…アシュリーのパンツ見てないか💦？
Hmm…？ The way Leon’s looking at her…he’s not staring at Ashley’s panties, is he？💦
アシュリー(…気のせいよね？)
Ashley: “…It’s probably just my imagination, right？”
アシュリー(こんなにイケメンで、頼りになりそうだもの…。さっきのは見間違いよね？)
Ashley: “…There’s no way, right？
He’s so handsome and seems so dependable…I must’ve imagined that earlier.”
アシュリーと接触できたことをハニガンに連絡。
They contact Hunnigan to report that they’ve made contact with Ashley.
レオン「…ヘリコプター？…ちゃんとこの村に到着するんだろうな⁉」(疑)
Leon: “…A helicopter？ It’s actually gonna make it to this village in one piece, right？ (doubt)”
ハニガン「………。」
しかし、ゲームキューブ版と違って、アシュリーも機敏で賢くなったよね～。
But compared to the GameCube version, Ashley’s become way more agile and smarter now.
レオンが武器を構えると、すぐに後ろに回り込んでくれるもの…。
Wherever Leon raises his weapon, she immediately moves behind him to stay out of the way…
ゲームキューブ版では、アシュリーが余所見してボーっとするものだから、樽をナイフで壊したりすると…アシュリーまで切ってしまって、敢えなく「GAME OVER」になってたんだよ…💧
In the Game Cube version, Ashley would just space out and stare off somewhere, so if you smashed a barrel with your knife, you’d accidentally slash Ashley too and end up with a game over💧
さて、ハニガンからの「プレイングマニュアル」を読み、そんな賢くなったアシュリーのパンツでも拝んで久々に怒られよっかな～？っと。
Anyway, after reading Hunnigan’s gameplay manual, maybe I should try sneaking a peek at smart Ashley’s panties and get yelled at again for old times’ sake～？
…え？ アシュリー怒らない？
…Huh？ Ashley’s not getting mad？
しかも、スカートも押さえないで…なんたる無防備！
And she’s not even holding her skirt down…talk about completely defenseless！
…多分、最初だから、アシュリーも気づかなかったんでしょうね💧 …レオンが覗いていることを！
…Maybe since it was their first meeting, Ashley just didn’t notice what Leon was doing💧
…You know, him trying to peek！
それか、初対面だったから怒れなかった…とか💦？
Or maybe she couldn’t get mad because they’d only just met💦？
あ…？ 気付かれた⁉
Ah…did she notice？
初めての「お姫様抱っこ」…なんだか嫌そう💦
Their first princess carry…and Ashley really doesn’t look happy about it💦
アシュリー(やだ！ なんなのこの人)
Ashley: “Ugh！ What is this guy’s problem?!”
そんなこんなで、自ら「カリスマ」という！ オズムンド・サドラー登場‼
And with that, the man who calls himself a charismatic leader…Osmnd Saddler makes his appearance！”
一教団がアメリカを相手にするなんて…サドラー様、だ・い・た・ん♡
For a single cult to take on the entire United States…Lord Saddler, you’re so bold♡
アシュリーもあの首注射されちゃったのね…💧
So, Ashley got injected in the neck too…💧
こんな辺境の地で開教するから…お金に困るんじゃ…💧？
Maybe they wouldn’t be so short on money if they hadn’t started their religion out in the middle of nowhere…💧
…すると、教会の正面扉が開き、信者たちがボーガンを向けてくるじゃあありませんか！
Then suddenly, the church’s front doors swing open, and the cultists aim their crossbows right at them！
逃～げるんだよ～💦！
Run for it～💦！
バリーン！
CRASH！
ちょっとアシュリーに無茶させちゃったレオン。
Leon, who may have pushed Ashley a little too hard…
アシュリーを気遣うこの一言がやっぱりイケてますね♪
That one line where he checks on Ashley is honestly pretty cool♪
チャプター２ー１終了。
