It’s Leon, the guy who let Saddler snatch Ashley away without much of a fight… 💧
オリジナルバイオ４攻略…続きをやっていきたいと思います。
Time to continue my playthrough of the original Resident Evil 4!
今回も内容が濃いので、今週と来週…前編と後編に分けたいと思います。
There’s so much to cover this time that I’ve decided to split it into Part 1 and Part 2, with Part 2 coming next week.

では、今週も「トレジャーハンターレオン」(バイオ４攻略日記)前編…スタートで～す！
All right, everyone! Let’s kick off this week’s Part 1 of “Treasure Hunter Leon” (Resident Evil 4 Playthrough Diary)!
近くにある祭壇から「教団の計画について」の書類を確認。
First, I checked the document titled “About the Cult’s Plan” at the nearby altar.
すでに、教団内で疑心暗鬼が渦巻いている…。
The cult is already consumed by suspicion and distrust…
こうなってしまったら組織というものは、終わりの始まりなのです。
Once an organization reaches this point, it’s the beginning of the end.
階段の裏の死角に落ちている5,000ペセタGET!
Found 5,000 pesetas lying in a blind spot behind the stairs. Score!
さっき、サドラーが落とした？…あの人、いつも金塊持ち歩いてんの💦⁉
Did Saddler drop this earlier? …Does that guy seriously carry gold bars around with him all the time? 💦!?
さぁ、後を追いましょう！
All right, let’s get moving!
一方その頃…以前、レオンも訪れた「通信室」での密会。
Meanwhile… a secret meeting is taking place in the Communications Room, which Leon visited earlier.
エイダとクラウザーって知り合いだったのね！
Ada and Krauser know each other?!
しかも、お互いウェスカーと同じ組織に属しているなんて‼
And they’re both members of the same organization as Wesker?!
最後のクラウザーの「っは！」はどう見ても悪人がする笑い方。
That final “Heh!” from Krauser is definitely the kind of laugh you’d expect from a villain.
そんなことも知らずに、レオンはひたすらアシュリーの救助に向かいます。
Completely unaware of all this, Leon presses on with his mission to rescue Ashley.
ここの「ショットガンの弾」を取りに行くと…、
If you go over here to pick up the Shotgun Shells…
＼(^o^)／ｵﾜﾀ(空耳)
＼(^o^)／ IT’S OVER! (Or at least, that’s what it sounds like to me!)
隣のボイラー室(？)にいる見張りに見つかってしまいます。
The guard in the next room, which looks like a boiler room (?), spots you!
そこから見える敵をライフルで狙撃。
Take aim with the rifle and snipe the enemies you can see from here.
柱に隠れている敵もまだまだいそう。
Looks like there are still more hiding behind the pillars, too.
天井のガラスに「エメラルド」があるので、ハンドガンでガラスを割って入手。
There’s an Emerald in the glass ceiling, so I shot the glass with my handgun and grabbed it.
すると、隣のボイラー室から来た敵が階段を登ってきます。
Then an enemy from the neighboring boiler room came running up the stairs!
片膝付かせてドーン！
Drop him to one knee and… BOOM!
今週もベリィ・トゥ・ベリィはパーフェクト♪
Another perfect Belly-to-Belly this week! ♪
たまにはウォーミングアップのために、敵を蹴って倒してみても良いですね💦
Every now and then, it’s good to warm up by kicking an enemy to death, too. 💦
階段を降りたところにあるグリーンハーブGET!
Picked up a Green Herb at the bottom of the stairs!
その2人を倒しても、まだボイラー室には敵が隠れていそう…。
Even after taking out those two, I had a feeling there were still enemies hiding in the boiler room…
そっと扉を開けて、中の様子を伺うと…、苦手な弓矢とモーニングスター持ちが攻撃してきました。
I cautiously opened the door to peek inside, and sure enough, I was attacked by the two enemies I hate dealing with most: the ones with crossbows and morning stars!
上にある部屋から、盾持ちの敵が階段を下りてくる姿も見えます💧
I could also see a shield-wielding enemy coming down the stairs from the room above. 💧
もうキミたち、面倒なんで一緒に燃えちゃってくださ～い！
Okay, you guys are getting on my nerves, so why don’t you all just burn together?!
今週も派手に「燃やしてみた」画像が撮れました💧
I managed to get another spectacular screenshot of the enemies being set on fire this week. 💧
それでも、プラーガを簡単に出してくる厄介な敵たち。
Even so, these troublesome enemies kept popping Plaga out like it was nothing.
ショットガンで息の根を止めてあげました。
So I put them out of their misery with the shotgun!
階段を登り、事務所っぽいところにいる敵も撃破！
I went upstairs and took out the enemy hanging around what looked like an office.
そこにあるロッカーからもアイテムをGET!
Also grabbed some items from the locker there!
下に戻り、脇の小部屋に「閃光手榴弾」と3,000ペセタ。
Back downstairs, I found a Flash Grenade and 3,000 pesetas in a small room off to the side.
これは嬉しい♪(まだまだ強欲)
Now that’s a nice little bonus! ♪ (Yep, I’m still greedy.)
さぁ、ここの探索は終了。次に行きましょう。
All right, that’s enough exploring here. On to the next area!
すると…、
And then…
また、静寂…。今度はBGMもない…本当の静寂。
Silence again.
This time, there’s not even any background music… just complete, genuine silence.
これは何か危険なことが待っていそう…。
Something dangerous must be waiting for me up ahead…
Ｌ字廊下を曲がると、すぐにまた扉が…。
I turned the corner of the L-shaped hallway, and there was another door right away…
そこを出ると…なんじゃ、ここは？
I went through it and thought, “What the heck is this place?”
エレベーターの下？
Am I underneath an elevator?
そんなところの床に無造作に置かれた3,000ペセタ💧
There were 3,000 pesetas lying carelessly on the floor in a place like this. 💧
…罠でもあるんじゃあないの～？と思ったけど、何事もなく普通に入手出来ました。
I thought, “Isn’t this obviously a trap?” But nothing happened, and I picked up the money without a problem.
罠があっても、なくても欲深いので、どうせすぐに手を出しちゃうエージェント…💦
Trap or no trap, a greedy agent like me is gonna grab the cash anyway. 💦
他にもう何もないので、エレベーターで上がります。
There was nothing else to find, so I took the elevator up.
ん？ 上に着くと、天井のパイプがむき出しの空間に来ました。
Huh? When I reached the top, I found myself in an open space with exposed pipes running across the ceiling.
不用意に先に進むと…、
I carelessly moved forward, and…
クラウザーがナイフで襲ってきました！
Krauser attacked me with a knife!
ちょっと、ちょっと、ちょっと～、キレイなお顔に傷がついたじゃあないの
⁉
Hey, hey, HEY! You just put a scratch on my pretty face! !?
…クラウザー、許さん‼
…Krauser, you’re gonna pay for that! !!
レオンとクラウザーのナイフでの攻防戦‼ QTEラッシュ💦
Leon and Krauser go head-to-head in an intense knife fight!!
QTE AFTER QTE! 💦
なんと、このクラウザーがアシュリーをさらって、スペインまで連れてきたそうです。
Turns out Krauser was the one who kidnapped Ashley and brought her all the way to Spain.
しかもそれは「アンブレラ」のため！…なのだそう。
And apparently, he did it for Umbrella!
何を言うてるのよ、クラウザー💧？
What the heck are you talking about, Krauser? 💧
「アンブレラ」は崩壊したってゲームの冒頭で言ってたじゃない…。
The game literally told us at the beginning that Umbrella had collapsed…
その言葉に動揺したのか、ピンチになるレオン。
Maybe my words caught him off guard, because Leon soon found himself in trouble.
首にナイフを突き立てられそうになりますが…その場に駆けつけたエイダに救われたのでした。
Krauser was about to plunge his knife into Leon’s neck when Ada rushed in and saved him!
こういうところが…レオエイ厨にはたまらないのでしょうね💧
This is exactly the kind of scene that makes Leon x Ada shippers go wild, isn’t it? 💧
クラウザー→「アンブレラ」について匂わせて、結局詳しいことを言わず立ち去る。
Krauser → Drops hints about Umbrella, then leaves without explaining anything.
エイダ→スペインに潜入している真意を明かさず、その場から立ち去る。
Ada → Refuses to reveal her true purpose for infiltrating Spain, then leaves, too.
レオン「誰もオレが一番聞きたいことに答えてくれね～！」
Leon: “Can ANYONE answer the one question I REALLY want answered?! ”
…なんだか、その不憫なレオンの扱われ方…バイオ２を思い起こさせます。
The way poor Leon gets treated here somehow reminds me of Resident Evil 2.
特に女性陣(クレア・エイダ・アネット)は、レオンの言うことを聞かず、勝手に無茶な行動をするんですよね～💧
Especially the women—Claire, Ada, and Annette—never listen to what Leon says and just go off doing reckless things on their own. 💧
そこから、「女ってヤツは！」っていう、レオンの名セリフが生まれたのです。
And that’s how Leon’s legendary line was born:
“Women!”
やっぱり、厄介事に巻き込まれやすいレオン。
Leon really does have a knack for getting dragged into trouble…
…それもヒーローたる者の宿命か？
Is that just the fate of a hero?
それでもヤケを起こさず、純粋に任務を遂行するところがレオンの格好良さ＆可愛さなんですよね♡
Even so, he never throws in the towel. He simply carries on with his mission, and that’s what makes Leon so cool and adorable. ♡
先ほどのクラウザーとエイダのように、レオンもここから立ち去ろうとすると…、サドラーから通信が！
Just as Krauser and Ada had done moments earlier, Leon was about to leave the area when Saddler contacted him!
レオンの皮肉たっぷりの軽口発動♪
And there goes Leon’s signature sarcastic banter! ♪
はいはい、せいぜい孤島のアトラクションを楽しませて頂きますよ～♪と次のステージへ！
“Sure, sure! I’ll do my best to enjoy all the attractions this island has to offer!” ♪
And off to the next stage we go!
にょ、にょわ～っ💦！
Y-yikes!! 💦
映画のようなレーザーの罠が‼(実写映画より、こちらが元ネタ)
A laser trap straight out of a movie!!
(Actually, this game came up with the idea before the live-action movie did!)
それを難なくこなすレオン…もう、超人化が止まらない💦
Leon handles it effortlessly…
His transformation into a superhuman just keeps going! 💦
とにかく、格好良い♡ 格好良すぎです～💦
Seriously, he’s so cool. WAY TOO COOL! 💦
そして、扉の向こうには椅子が１脚。
Beyond the door, there’s a single chair.
以前、ここでサドラーがクラウザーに「レオン抹殺命令」を出した場所ですね。
This is the same place where Saddler previously ordered Krauser to “eliminate Leon.”
振り返った天井に「蛍石の髪飾り」。
I looked up and spotted a Butterfly Lamp hanging from the ceiling behind me.
中央にある椅子を調べると「エメラルド」が拾えました。
When I examined the chair in the center of the room, I found an Emerald.
…！
「？」のマークが出ているので…もう一度、椅子を調べると…、
A “?” icon appeared, so I examined the chair one more time…
出ました！
And there it is!
バイオ４名物「今はこんな事をしてる場合ではない」‼
One of Resident Evil 4’s classic lines:
“I don’t have time for this!”!!
…さすが、サドラー様の椅子！ 豪華な素材で作られているのか？…座り心地は最高
…Ah, the chair of Lord Saddler! Maybe it’s made of luxurious materials? The seat must be incredibly comfortable! ✨
本当に「そんな事をしている場合ではない」ので、椅子の後ろの隠しエレベーターから次へ行きます。
Unfortunately, I really don’t have time for that, so I headed onward through the hidden elevator behind the chair.
辿り着いた先には、トンネルのような空間。
I arrived at a tunnel-like passage.
階段の死角にグリーンハーブとハンドガンの弾。
Found a Green Herb and some Handgun Ammo in a blind spot by the stairs.
その先、道なりに進むと…、
I followed the path ahead, and…
わぉ💦 こちらを見つめるアツい視線…。
Whoa! 💦
That intense gaze staring right at me…
武器商人じゃ～ん♪ 今回はよりアップで遠くから確認💧
It’s the Merchant! ♪
This time, I got a closer look at him from a distance. 💧
…と、その近くに「ルイスメモ 4」とレッドハーブGET!
Nearby, I also picked up Luis’s Memo 4 and a Red Herb!
今回も乏しいお宝を売り、
After selling the few treasures I’d managed to scrape together this time…
セミオートショットガンの威力だけ改造することが出来ました。(金欠)
I could finally afford to upgrade the Semi-auto Shotgun’s firepower.
(And now I’m broke again.)
はぁ～、まだまだお金が足りぬ…。
Sigh… I still need so much more money…
次に行きましょう💧
Onward we go. 💧
扉を進むと、また遺跡みたいなところに来ました。
Through the next door, I found myself in another ruin-like area.
近くの金網内からイエローハーブGET!
I picked up a Yellow Herb from inside the nearby fenced-off section!
あ！ 武器商人と取引後に映すのを忘れたので、イエローハーブを取った直後の↑アタッシュケース内の様子。
Oh! I forgot to show you my attaché case after trading with the Merchant, so here’s a look at its contents right after picking up the Yellow Herb above.
回復は十分だけど、弾が乏しい？
Plenty of healing items, but not much ammo?
…いえいえ、改造が進んだので武器に収まる弾が増えて、入りきらない弾が少なく見えてるだけなのです。
…No, no! It’s just that my weapon upgrades have increased the amount of ammo my guns can hold, so the loose ammunition in my case looks scarce!
洞窟を抜けると、なにやら大掛かりな金網で出来ている建物が、崖にぶら下がっているのが見えます。
After emerging from the cave, I spotted a huge structure made of metal fencing, hanging precariously over the edge of a cliff.
その奥にはロープウェイらしきものが！
And behind it, there seemed to be something like a cable car!
わわわ！
Whoa, whoa, WHOA!
突発的なこととはいえ、化け物と一緒に危険そうな建物に乗り移っちゃった💦
Even though it was completely unexpected, I ended up jumping into a dangerous-looking structure with a monster! 💦
こんな狭い空間で化け物→U‐３とご対面💧！
And now I’m face-to-face with U-3 in this cramped space! 💧
どうしろっていうの💦？
What am I supposed to do here?! 💦
まずは、ここにある安全装置を解除。
First, I deactivated the safety mechanism here.
途中のアイテムを取りつつ、
Picked up the items along the way, then…
２カ所目を解除。
Deactivated the second mechanism.
すると、いきなりカウントダウンが始まるので、急いで次の車両に移動！
Suddenly, a countdown started, so I had to hurry to the next car!
…でないと、吊り下げられた鎖が切り離され、車両ごと崖の下に落とされてしまうからです。
If I didn’t make it in time, the chains suspending the car would be detached, sending the entire thing plunging down the cliff!
なんとか２両目に辿り着くのに間に合いました。
I somehow made it to the second car just in time!
中央にT字路には行き止まりのシャッターを開ける緑のボタンが２カ所あります。
At the T-junction in the middle, there are two green buttons that open the shutters blocking the way forward.
そのまま大通りに飛び出さず、建物の陰から狙ってボタンを撃ちましょう。
Don’t rush straight out into the open! Stay behind the structure and shoot the buttons from cover.
そのまま出てしまうと、U‐３が現れ、攻撃を避けつつ、シャッター解除しなければいけないからです。
If you run straight out, U-3 will appear, and you’ll have to dodge its attacks while trying to open the shutters!
２両目の１つ目の安全装置を解除。
I deactivated the first safety mechanism in the second car.
途中にあるアイテムを回収しつつ、
Picked up the items along the way, then…
２つ目も解除。
Deactivated the second one, too!
またカウントダウンがは始まり、３両目に間に合うと、今いた２両目が切り離されて、闇へと消えていきます。
The countdown started again, and once I made it to the third car, the second car I’d just left was detached and disappeared into the darkness below.
３両目はすぐ分かりやすいところにボタンがあるので解除すると、またU‐３が現れ、背中から巨大なハサミが！
The button in the third car is easy to spot, so I deactivated it.
Then U-3 appeared again, and a gigantic pair of pincers burst out of its back!
より狂暴に進化して、レオンを襲ってきます💧
It had evolved into an even more vicious monster and came straight for Leon. 💧
き、聞いてないよ～💦
H-HEY! NOBODY TOLD ME ABOUT THIS!! 💦
ここは一旦、U‐３から逃げて、シャッターを上げるためのボタンを撃ちましょう。
First, I had to get away from U-3 and shoot the button that raises the shutter.
もう１カ所の解除ボタンを押すためには、回り込んだ場所にある「緑のシャッター上げボタン」を撃たなければなりません。
To reach the other safety mechanism, I had to circle around and shoot another green button to raise a shutter blocking the way.
その間もU‐３の攻撃がさっきからずーっと、しつこいくらいに繰り返されています💦
Meanwhile, U-3 kept attacking me over and over again, relentlessly! 💦
ここも地獄のQTEラッシュ！
Another hellish QTE marathon!
やめちくり～💦
GIVE ME A BREAK!! 💦
これを避けないと、U‐3の尻尾がレオンの首に巻き付き、天井に吊られてしまいます。
If you fail to dodge these attacks, U-3’s tail will wrap around Leon’s neck and hoist him up to the ceiling.
そうなっても逃げる術はあるのですが、大幅に体力を減らされるので、なるべく避けた(QTEを成功させる)方が断然良いです！
You can escape even if that happens, but it’ll cost you a huge chunk of health, so it’s definitely better to dodge successfully by getting the QTEs right!
なんとか、３両目も解除。
Somehow, I managed to deactivate the third car’s mechanisms, too.
でも、ここから出口へは遠いので注意！
But be careful—the exit is still a long way off!
U‐3のQTEをきっちりかわして、車両の後方へ急ぎましょう！
Make sure you dodge all of U-3’s QTE attacks and hurry toward the back of the car!
３両目の一番後ろに行くと、クレーンの先がぶら下がっていて、それに飛びついたレオンは車両の落下から免れることに成功。
At the very back of the third car, there’s a crane arm hanging down.
Leon grabbed onto it and managed to escape the falling car!
途中、U-３のハサミで攻撃されそうになりますが、運よく避けることが出来ました。
(なぜかここの動画が上げれなかったので、文のみで説明💧)
U-3 tried to attack him with its pincers along the way, but luckily, Leon managed to dodge them.
(I couldn’t upload the video of this part for some reason, so I’ll have to explain it in text. 💧)
なんとか、次に辿り着いたレオン。
Leon somehow made it to the next area.
そのご褒美のように、床には各種の弾やグリーンハーブなどが置いてありました。
As if to reward him for surviving that ordeal, there were various types of ammo, a Green Herb, and other items scattered across the floor.
全てを回収し、次の広間に行こうとすると、
I collected everything and was about to head into the next open area when…
…！
レオンの野生の勘が働き、背後からの何かの気配を感じました。
Leon’s survival instincts kicked in.
He sensed something approaching from behind!
土に潜らせね～よ
！
“You’re NOT burrowing underground on my watch! ”
このタイミングでマグナムを撃ちまくれば、U-３を土に潜らせずに安全に倒せます💧
If you unleash a barrage of Magnum shots at exactly this moment, you can take U-3 down safely without letting it burrow underground. 💧
U‐３を倒すと50,000ペセタ
Defeating U-3 earned me 50,000 pesetas! ✨
本当はこの洞穴を使って戦うのですが、その場でマグナムゴリ押しで倒しちゃいました💧
Normally, you’re supposed to use this cave to fight it, but I just brute-forced my way through with the Magnum and took it down right there. 💧
その周りにある「ハンドガンの弾」とレッドハーブ回収。
Then I collected the Handgun Ammo and Red Herb lying nearby.
なんか、上手く攻撃を封じちゃって…悪かったね、U‐３💧
Guess I did a pretty good job of shutting down your attacks…
Sorry about that, U-3. 💧
そんな余裕を見せるレオンは次へと進みます。
Leon, looking rather pleased with himself, continued onward.
また、狭い洞窟を通ると…、
After passing through another narrow cave…
ロープウェイ乗り場に出ました。
I arrived at the cable car station.
先には、梯子も見えます。
There was also a ladder farther ahead.
梯子へは行かないで、ロープウェイに乗り込みます。
Instead of taking the ladder, I hopped aboard the cable car.
すると、ロープウェイは戻り、目の前にはグリーンハーブが！
The cable car went back the way I’d come, and there was a Green Herb waiting right in front of me!
崖からU‐３が襲ってこなければ、このロープウェイに乗って、普通に向こう岸まで行けたんですね💧
If U-3 hadn’t attacked me from the cliff, I could’ve simply taken this cable car and ridden straight across to the other side. 💧
せっかく、戻ったのでグリーンハーブを貰って、また梯子があった場所へ引き返します。
Well, since I’d come all the way back, I might as well grab the Green Herb before heading back to where the ladder was.
まったく…。
Honestly…
２つ道があるなら、苦しい方の道を選んじまう…
ぶつぶつ…。
When there are two possible routes, why do I ALWAYS end up choosing the harder one?! grumble, grumble…
梯子まで戻って来たので、登って先に進みましょう。
I made my way back to the ladder, climbed up, and continued onward.
上に登ると、待合所みたいなところに出ました。
At the top, I came to a place that looked like a waiting area.
机の上にはタイプライター。棚から「手榴弾」GET!
There was a typewriter on the desk, and I found a Grenade on the shelf!
ここにはそれ以外…何もないので、次に急ぎます。
There was nothing else here, so I hurried on to the next area.
すると、久しぶりに外に出ることが出来ました。
And finally, I was back outside after what felt like ages!
下にはテントを張って、レオンを待ち構えている大勢の敵が野営しています。
Below me, a large group of enemies had set up camp in tents, waiting for Leon.
ここは、あの↑爆発物をハンドガンで撃って爆破！
I decided to shoot the explosive device shown above with my handgun and blow it up!
見事、一網打尽(1人だけ離れているので無理)とはいかず💦
I didn’t quite manage to wipe them all out in one go, though, since one enemy was standing off by himself. 💦
その1人を倒してから周辺を物色。
After taking care of that lone enemy, I searched the surrounding area.
あの扉の先を目指さないといけないみたい。
Looks like I need to head through that door over there.
その近くにイエローハーブ。
Found a Yellow Herb nearby, too!
テント内の木箱の中身はペセタ♪
Inside a wooden crate in one of the tents, I found some pesetas! ♪
少ない金額ですが、今のところの大事な資金源。
It’s not much, but every little bit counts. Right now, this is one of my precious sources of income!
そのテントの中には次へと向かう地下へ伸びた梯子が見えます。
Inside that tent, I spotted a ladder leading underground to the next area.
さぁ、これからどんなものが待ち構えているのか？ そして、敵対するクラウザーとの決着は？
So, what kind of dangers await Leon down there?
And how will things end between Leon and his enemy, Krauser?
最終的にアシュリーと無事に脱出できるのか？
Will Leon and Ashley ultimately make it out of here safely?
