Hello, everyone!
せっかく仲良くなったマイクを79し、エイダの首に掴み掛かっては…急所を蹴られたり、リヘナラたんに弄ばれたり…(人気者のせいで)いつも忙しい…レオンです♪
I’m Leon, and I’m always busy being a popular guy! I finally got along with Mike, only to see him get killed, grab Ada by the neck and get kicked in a very sensitive spot, and get toyed with by the Regenerador… Being popular sure is hard work! ♪

Let’s continue our walkthrough of the original Resident Evil 4!
前回に引き続き、チャプター５‐４の後編です。
This time, we’re continuing with Chapter 5-4, Part 2.

体内にいる「プラーガ」の成長のせいで、狂暴化が抑えられなくなってきたレオン。
Because the Plaga inside his body is growing, Leon is finding it harder and harder to control his growing aggression.
完全に融合する前に、なんとか取り除かなければ！
We have to get it out somehow before it completely fuses with his body!
では、今週も「トレジャーハンターレオン」(バイオ４攻略日記)後編…スタートで～す！
And now, it’s time to begin this week’s second half of “Treasure Hunter Leon” (Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough Diary)!
↑リヘナラたんを倒し、薄暗い場所から出ると…なんと、外！
↑ After defeating the Regenerador and leaving the dimly lit area… surprise! We’re outside!
…といっても、周りは高い壁がそびえ立っています。
…Although, we’re still surrounded by towering walls.
その周りにある木箱から、アイテムをGET!
I grab some items from the wooden crates scattered around the area!
その先に進むと…、土嚢を積んで臨戦態勢の敵がレオンを待ち構えていました。
Moving forward, I find enemies waiting for Leon behind a barricade of sandbags, ready for battle.
しかも、手にはレオンの嫌いな弓矢を持っています。
And to make matters worse, they’re holding bows and arrows—one of Leon’s least favorite weapons.
ド近眼なのかな？ これじゃあ、見張りの意味がないよ…。
Are they extremely nearsighted or something? What’s the point of standing guard if you can’t see anything?
…だけど、敵はこんなにガン見してるのに、なぜかこちらに気付いていません💧
…But even though they’re staring right at me, they somehow haven’t noticed me! 💧
(一応、これでもレオンは、右の壁に隠れられているみたいです💧 これ以上、左に行くと敵に気付かれ…大勢が我先にと押し寄せてきます。)
(Technically, Leon seems to be hidden behind the wall on the right. 💧 If he moves any farther to the left, the enemies will spot him, and a whole crowd will come rushing over to get him first.)
こっちに気付かれて、仲間を呼ばれるのも厄介だし、弓矢を撃たれるのも嫌なので、手榴弾でもお見舞いしてあげましょう♪
I don’t want them spotting me and calling their buddies, and I definitely don’t want to get shot with arrows, so let’s treat them to a hand grenade! ♪
近くの敵も巻き込めれば、さらにGOOD!
It’d be even better if I could take out some nearby enemies in the blast, too!
ドカーン！
BOOM!
「あぽなどぅ！
」(空耳)
“Apanadu!” [annoyed] (That’s what it sounds like to me!)
結局、その音で他の敵に見つかってしまうんですけど…遠距離攻撃の敵は、１人でも少ない方が良いので早めに倒して正解なのです！
Of course, the explosion alerts the other enemies anyway… But the fewer enemies attacking from a distance, the better, so taking that guy out early was the right call!
ガトリングおじさん「ヘボい山田～♪」(空耳)
Gatling Gun Guy: “You’re a lousy Yamada~♪” (That’s what it sounds like to me!)
あ！ 余計な人にも気づかれちゃいました～
💦 今日も赤いベレー帽がお似合いですね💧
Ah! I’ve attracted the attention of someone I didn’t want to notice me! 💦
That red beret looks great on you today, too. 💧
ここは一旦、入り口近くのこの場所で待機！
For now, I’ll wait right here, near the entrance!
他の大勢のザコ敵と戦いながら、ガトリングおじさんも相手にしたくないからです。
I don’t want to deal with Gatling Gun Guy while fighting a whole crowd of other cannon fodder at the same time.
そして、すぐに律儀にここまで来てくれるガトリングおじさん♪
And sure enough, here comes Gatling Gun Guy, dutifully making his way all the way over to me! ♪
ぬははははは～♫…と不敵な笑いで近づいてきます💧
He approaches with a sinister laugh: “Nwahahahaha~!” 💧
こうなりゃまた、ライフルで近距離しばき合い対決の始まりです！
Well, here we go again! It’s time for another close-range rifle beatdown!
今回もガトリングを撃たせることなく、15,000ペセタをGETしました💧
Once again, I take him out without even letting him fire his Gatling gun and collect 15,000 pesetas. 💧
…だからって、割愛してゴメンね、ガトリングおじさん。
…Sorry for skipping over your fight again, Gatling Gun Guy!
その他、ガトリングおじさんにくっついてきたザコ敵たち…。
And here come the other cannon-fodder enemies who followed him…
容赦なく頭から「プラーガ」を出してきます💧 そのまま、ライフルをお見舞い♪
They’re shamelessly popping Plagas out of their heads! 💧
So I give them a taste of my rifle, too! ♪
これでやっと、階段を登り…広い空間に進めるレオン。
At last, Leon can climb the stairs and move into the wide-open area.
建物の上にいる他の弓矢を狙撃し、あとは直接攻撃をしてくる敵だけ！
I snipe the remaining archers on top of the buildings, leaving only the enemies who attack me directly!
人数が多くても、遠距離攻撃の敵よりは可愛気があるってものです。
Even if there are a lot of them, they’re a lot more manageable than those pesky long-range attackers.
↑いろんなところに、爆破オブジェクトもあるしね♪
↑ Besides, there are explosive objects scattered all over the place! ♪
大勢集まってきたところを…、
Once a big crowd gathers together…
ドカーン！
BOOM!
これで、一網打尽♪
That takes care of them all in one shot! ♪
そして、先週はなぜか１発も披露できなかった…ベリィ・トゥ・ベリィも華麗に炸裂
And finally, Leon gets to show off his Belly-to-Belly move in all its glory!
For some reason, I couldn’t pull it off even once last week…
今日もレオンは絶好調～♪
But today, Leon is on fire! ♪
金網扉の中に「レッドハーブ」。
There’s a Red Herb inside the fenced-off area.
そこには上に行ける梯子があるのですが、ここからは登りません。
There’s also a ladder leading upward, but I won’t be climbing that one just yet.
こちらの梯子から上に登ります。
I’ll use this ladder over here instead.
…とその前に、
…But first!
上から敵が２・３人降ってくるので、今週も盾ごと「燃やしてみた」画像のノルマ達成～💧
Two or three enemies come dropping down from above, so I get to fulfill this week’s quota of screenshots for “Let’s Set Them on Fire!”—shields and all! 💧
大体の敵を倒し、戦闘曲が止んで一旦落ち着いたら…その周辺にある樽の中から、アイテムをGET!
Once I’ve taken out most of the enemies and the battle music finally stops, I search the barrels in the surrounding area for items.
これで、安心して梯子を登れます♪
Now I can climb the ladder without worrying about anything! ♪
上は制御室＆見張り台。
The area above is a control room and watchtower.
その辺を物色すると…ロッカーからイエローハーブ。
I search around and find a Yellow Herb inside a locker.
敵たちが飲み食いしていた机の上に、飲みかけのビンと共に置いてあった「閃光手榴弾」GET!
Then I grab a Flash Grenade from a table where the enemies had been eating and drinking. It’s sitting right next to a half-empty bottle!
その近くにあった装置のボタンを押してみようとすると…、
I try pressing the button on a nearby control panel…
何処かから敵が現れ…ボタン操作の邪魔をされました💦
But an enemy suddenly appears out of nowhere and interrupts me! 💦
なんて、タイミングの悪さ！
Talk about terrible timing!
どうやら、これで次のステージへ向かうゲートがロックされたようです。
Apparently, this has locked the gate leading to the next area.
まずは、さっきの男が抜いたカードキーを取り戻さないと！
First, I need to recover the keycard that the guy just pulled out!
それを阻止しようと、大勢の敵がレオンに向かってきます💦
A large group of enemies rushes toward Leon to stop him! 💦
みんな自慢気に、プラーガを見せつけてくるので…お返しに「閃光手榴弾」で歓迎してあげました♪
They’re all proudly showing off their Plagas, so I give them a warm welcome with a Flash Grenade! ♪
それでも、押し寄せてくる敵！
But the enemies just keep coming!
壁の向こうからも、上の渡り廊下みたいなところからも、弓矢を撃ってくる敵も参加してくるので注意‼
Watch out, because enemies with bows and arrows will join the fight, shooting at you from behind the wall and from what looks like an overhead walkway!
↑この場所で、大勢を相手すると…一方方向で迎え撃てるので戦いやすいです♪
↑ Fighting the crowd from this spot makes things easier because you can face them all from one direction! ♪
それでも、プラーガ炸裂男ばかりで大賑い💦
Even so, the place is packed with enemies whose heads have burst open with Plagas! 💦
次から次へと、レオンと遊びたくて仕方ない輩が押し寄せてきます💧
One after another, these guys come charging at Leon because they just can’t wait to play with him! 💧
ショットガンや手榴弾で吹っ飛ばしてあげたり、「プラーガ」を閃光手榴弾でピカッとしてあげたり、攻撃の合間にリロードしたり、落ちてるアイテムを拾ったり…これはもう、ある意味お祭り騒ぎ状態
I blast them away with the shotgun and hand grenades, give their Plagas a dazzling flash with Flash Grenades, reload between attacks, and pick up items lying on the ground…
This has turned into a full-blown festival!
あれ？ ただの通路に「カードキー」が普通～に落ちていました…。
Huh? The keycard was just lying there in the ordinary hallway…
この大混乱の中で、さっきのカードキー抜き去り男は、ひっそり静かにやられていたようです💧
Apparently, the guy who stole the keycard had quietly gotten himself killed somewhere in all that chaos. 💧
え？ いつ４んでた💦⁉
Wait, when did he die?! 💦⁉
…取り敢えず「電源装置のカードキー」を難なくGET!
…Anyway, I easily pick up the Power Supply Card Key!
それでも、まだまだ大勢敵がいます。
But there are still plenty of enemies left.
梯子を登って、ロックを解除するために「電源装置」を起動しに行っちゃいましょう♪
Let’s climb the ladder and activate the power supply so we can unlock the gate! ♪
ふんッ！
HNGH!
電源装置近くの敵にベリィ・トゥ・ベリィの大盤振る舞い
Leon treats the enemies near the power supply to a generous helping of Belly-to-Belly!
やっとこれで電源ON!
Finally, the power is ON!
あとは、残党を倒しつつ、２カ所のボタンを押すだけ！
All that’s left is to take care of the remaining enemies and press the buttons in two locations!
１つ目のボタン、
The first button…
２つ目のボタンを解除して、
Then, I activate the second button…
緑のランプが２つ着いて、ゲートの先に進めるようになりました。
Both indicator lights turn green, and the gate to the next area is now open!
次のステージに行く前に、トランクから金塊を拾ったり、ロッカー内を調べたりして、アイテムに取りこぼしが無いか…入念にチェック！(呆れるほどの強欲)
Before moving on, I rummage through the attaché case for a gold bar and check inside the lockers, carefully making sure I haven’t missed any items.
(Yes, I’m ridiculously greedy!)
ゲートを抜けて、坂道を降りると…またドアが！
I pass through the gate and walk down the slope… only to find another door!
はぁ～、なんとかこの場もレオン１人で制圧することが出来ました💦
Whew! Somehow, Leon has managed to take control of this whole area all by himself! 💦
ん？
Hmm?
ドアに入ると…すぐに盾持ちの敵が２人、こちらににじり寄ってきます。
As soon as I enter the door, two enemies carrying shields start creeping toward me.
盾持ちといったら…コレ！
When it comes to shield-bearing enemies, there’s only one thing to do…
今週２度目の「燃やしてみた」画像！
That’s right! It’s time for this week’s second “Let’s Set Them on Fire!” screenshot!
炎で倒れたところをハンドガンで追い打ち‼
Once the enemies collapse from the flames, I finish them off with my handgun!
…狭い廊下でご苦労さん♪
…Nice job coming all this way just to get roasted in a narrow hallway! ♪
そこにある棚から「ショットガンの弾」GET!
I pick up some Shotgun Shells from the shelf nearby!
「焼夷手榴弾」のお陰で盾持ち敵をラクラク退治♪
Thanks to the Incendiary Grenade, those shield-bearing enemies were a piece of cake!
ハイ、次に行きましょう！
Okay, on to the next area!
すると…、
And then…
変な装置に入れられている…アシュリーの姿が！
There she is! Ashley, trapped inside some kind of strange machine!
それに近づこうとすると…サドラーが現れ、レオン、またしてもピーンチ💦
Just as I approach her, Saddler appears, putting Leon in danger once again! 💦
…そこに颯爽とエイダが来て、レオンとアシュリーを救ってくれました♪
But then, Ada swoops in and saves both Leon and Ashley! ♪
エイダ…惚れてまうやろ～♡
Ada… I’m falling for you! ♡
ここは、アシュリーがいる手前、サドラーはエイダにお任せします💧
Since Ashley is right here, I’ll leave Saddler to Ada. 💧
…ま、エイダなら大丈夫でしょう。強いし賢いから♪
…Well, Ada should be fine. She’s strong and smart, after all! ♪
それにしても、身体にあんなに「マシンピストルの弾」を受けてもピンピンしているサドラー…見た目はおじぃだけど…一体、どんな肉体してるの💧？
Still, Saddler took a whole bunch of machine-pistol bullets to the body and is perfectly fine…He may look like an old geezer, but what kind of body does he have?! 💧
(ルイスを56した時、変なところから触手も出してたし…)
(When he killed Luis, he even sprouted tentacles from some weird places…)
一方、レオンは朦朧としていたアシュリーが正気に戻り、次の扉を進もうとしていました。
Meanwhile, Leon waits for Ashley to recover from her dazed state, and the two prepare to head through the next door.
おっと、ここで武器商人！
Oh! Here’s the Merchant!
相変わらず、こちらをジト目で見てきます💧
As usual, he’s giving me that side-eye. 💧
その前に周辺のアイテムをGET!
But first, I’ll pick up the items scattered around the area!
ここにある2つの樽両方から、5,000ペセタずつGET!
I get 5,000 pesetas from each of the two barrels here!
相変わらず、高額のお金を樽に隠す…。
He really does keep hiding huge sums of money inside barrels, doesn’t he?
改めて…この島の住人の金銭感覚はどうなっているのでしょうか💧？
Seriously… what is the financial situation of the people living on this island? 💧
ルイスから最後のメモ。
I find the last memo from Luis.
「プラーガ」除去の恐怖を植え付けてくる💧
It fills me with dread about having the Plaga removed. 💧
…でも、これはあのルイスの研究の成果。間違ったことは書いていないはず！
…But these are the results of Luis’s research, so he must have gotten his facts right!
ここでやっと、武器商人と取引。
Finally, it’s time to trade with the Merchant.
売れるものは「救急スプレー」だけ💧
The only thing I can sell is my First Aid Spray. 💧
あとの残高は…敵が落としたペセタや、樽や木箱から拾ったもの。
The rest of my money comes from the pesetas dropped by enemies and the ones I’ve picked up from barrels and crates.
…それでも、この金額までよく貯め込めたものです。
…Even so, I’ve managed to save up a surprisingly large amount!
残す武器改造は、「ショットガン」と「ライフル」、「マシンピストル」の限定仕様と「マグナム」の普通改造だけ。
The only weapon upgrades I have left are the exclusive upgrades for the Shotgun, Rifle, and Machine Pistol, plus the regular upgrades for the Magnum.
全てが高額の改造費…💧
And every single one of those upgrades costs a fortune… 💧
悩んだ末に…ここは「マシンピストル」を限定仕様改造することに決めました。
After much deliberation, I decide to get the exclusive upgrade for the Machine Pistol here.
はぁ～、やっぱりまだまだお金が足りぬ💧
Whew… I still don’t have nearly enough money! 💧
武器商人とは次の取引が最後になりそうだ…。
This may be my last chance to trade with the Merchant…
それまで、次の改造費…100,000近くのペセタはどう頑張っても貯めれないよね～💦？
There’s no way I can save up nearly 100,000 pesetas for the next upgrade before then, is there?! 💦
扉に入ると…、なぜか嫌な予感。
I enter the door…
For some reason, I have a bad feeling about this.
アシュリーはここで待機
Ashley, wait here!
階段を降りるとＹ字路になっていて、案の定、両方の道に敵が大勢待ち構えていました。
I go down the stairs and reach a fork in the road.
Just as I expected, a huge crowd of enemies is waiting on both paths.
中でも、この鎧大男２人！
And among them are these two heavily armored brutes!
…！
キミも頭から「プラーガ」出すんだ～💦⁉
You guys can pop Plagas out of your heads, too?! 💦⁉
他のザコもいるので、「閃光手榴弾」で手っ取り早く処理💧
There are other enemies around as well, so I quickly deal with them using a Flash Grenade. 💧
敵を殲滅した後はアシュリーを呼び、先には進まず…右の道へ。
After wiping out the enemies, I call Ashley over, but instead of proceeding forward, I take the path on the right.
アシュリーが変な装置に入っていて、サドラーが現れたあの部屋に一旦戻ります。
I head back to the room where Ashley was trapped in that strange machine and Saddler appeared.
あ、さすがにもう…エイダとサドラーの姿は見えません。
Ah, as expected, Ada and Saddler are nowhere to be seen anymore.
多分、エイダの事だから、サクッと安全な場所に逃げていることでしょう。
Knowing Ada, she’s probably already made a quick getaway to somewhere safe!
その部屋から上に上がれる坂道があるので行ってみます。
There’s a sloping path leading upward from that room, so I decide to check it out.
上がった先の行き止まりの部屋には、
At the dead end, there’s a room containing…
こんなアイテムがあるので、ここまで戻る意味があるのです！(今週も安定の強欲
)
These items!
That’s why it’s worth coming all the way back here! (My greed is as reliable as ever this week! )
アシュリー(…疲れてるから、早く次に進みたかったんだけど…💧)
Ashley: (…I’m tired, and I wanted to move on to the next area already… 💧)
アイテムを回収したら、さっきのＹ字路まで戻り、もう片方の道を進みます。
After collecting the items, I return to the fork in the road and take the other path.
すると…、
And then…
出た～っ💦 レオンのちょいサービスシーン(？)発動～
THERE IT IS! 💦 Leon’s little fan-service scene (maybe?) is here!
こんな危険なものに、果敢に身を投げ出すレオン💧
Leon bravely throws himself into something this dangerous. 💧
これもアシュリーのため！ まずは己の肉体で試してみたのです。
But he’s doing it for Ashley! He’s testing it on his own body first.
…そして、各地で入手した「ルイスメモ」のお陰でもあります。
…And he’s also able to do this thanks to the Luis Memos he found along the way.
レオンはルイスを全面的に信用していたから、なんの躊躇もなく…この錆びれた機械に乗れたんですよね…。
Leon trusted Luis completely, which is why he was able to get into this rusty old machine without a moment’s hesitation…
こんな短い間でも、ルイスからの友情を感じていたのでしょう…。
Even though they knew each other for such a short time, I think Leon could feel the friendship Luis had shown him…
これで無事、レオンは「プラーガ」の脅威から解放されました
And with that, Leon is finally freed from the threat of the Plaga!
そして、次は待望(💧)のアシュリーの番！
And now, it’s finally Ashley’s turn! (Well, I’ve been waiting for this… 💧)

Anyway, the screenshot itself seems to be fine, so here’s what it looks like. 💧
アシュリーも苦しみながら、なんとか無事に「プラーガ」除去出来ました。
Ashley suffers through the procedure, too, but thankfully, her Plaga is removed safely.
いろんな意味で怖かったアシュリー💧
Ashley was pretty scary in more ways than one. 💧
そりゃあ、レオンに抱き着きたくもなりますわな…。
No wonder she wants to throw her arms around Leon…
さぁ、あとはこの島から無事脱出するだけ！
Now, all that’s left is to escape from this island safely!
…でも、まだそう簡単には行かなそうです…。
…But it looks like things still aren’t going to be that easy…
チャプター５‐４終了。NEXT, THE FINAL CHAPTERの文字も見えます。
