２カ月ぶりに、またメトロシティに帰って来た…レオンです♡
Hello, everyone! It’s been a while～♪
I’m Leon, and I’ve returned to Metro City once again after two months! ♡
今回も、新師匠が現れたという情報をキャッチ！
This time, too, I’ve caught wind of a new master making an appearance!
まずは、その手掛かりを探すため、情報収集すんぜっ♪
First things first, let’s gather some information and look for clues! ♪
…といっても、今回はその手掛かりが少なく、メトロシティをくまなく探索することに💦
…That said, there weren’t many clues to go on this time, so I decided to explore every nook and cranny of Metro City. 💦
それにしても、修行初めの頃は余裕がなくて、こんな風に細かいところまで散策しなかったもんな～。ある意味、新鮮♪
Come to think of it, back when I first started my training, I was so busy trying to keep up that I never really took the time to explore all these little details.
In a way, it’s a whole new experience! ♪
すると、メトロシティのとある壁に…、
And then, on a certain wall in Metro City…
怪しいポスターを発見！
I spotted a suspicious poster!
また人体実験？
Human experiments again?
いろんな世界線(ゲーム)で、こういう研究に足を突っ込んでしまうオレ💧
No matter which universe (or game) I end up in, somehow I always get involved in this kind of research. 💧
(この「ラクーンシティの多目的ホール」では…バイオはもちろん、パワプロ〈能力研究所〉、人生ゲーム〈道行くじいさんにやる気ボタンを装着される〉でも経験済。)
(Here at the “Raccoon City Community Hall,” I’ve already had my share of experiences with this sort of thing… not only in Resident Evil, but also in Power Pros (the Ability Research Institute) and The Game of Life (where an old man I met along the way installed a Motivation Button on me).)
今回もその目的を突き止めるために、このポスターの内容に従ってみよう！
Well, this time, too, let’s follow the instructions on the poster and find out what’s really going on!

以前にも行ったことがあるので場所は知っている。
I’ve been there before, so I know where it is.
５階に上がり、研究員・リウさんに協力することに。
I went up to the fifth floor and agreed to help a researcher named Liu.
リウ「…チップが出たら、ボクにちょうだい。」
Liu: “…If you get any chips, give them to me.”
「…もしできなかったら修行の旅に出てね～。」
“And… if you can’t do it, why don’t you go on a training journey～?”
初対面なのに妙に親しげ💧
He’s awfully friendly for someone I’ve just met. 💧
研究員とかいう頭でっかちな人たちは、こういう上から目線が多いのだろうか💦？ (←偏見)
I wonder if these brainy researcher types are usually this condescending? 💦 (← That’s a bit of a stereotype!)
…ちょっと、気に入らないけど、ここまで来たんだ…手伝ってやろう！
I wasn’t too thrilled about his attitude, but I’d come all this way… so I decided to help him anyway!
まずは３体のコピーファイターと戦闘‼
First, I had to fight three Copy Fighters‼
春麗師匠にも手伝ってもらい、
With a little help from my master, Chun-Li…
３体のコピーファイターをルーク・ＪＰ・マノンの技で撃破！
I defeated all three Copy Fighters using the techniques of Luke, JP, and Manon!

I got three chips containing their battle data!
リウさんにチップを渡すと、新たな依頼が！
When I handed the chips over to Liu, he gave me another request!

リウさん…簡単に言ってくれるな～💧
Come on, Liu… you’re making it sound so easy! 💧
ミッション「殺意を纏う鬼」スタート！
A new mission begins: “The Demon Wrapped in Killing Intent”!
豪鬼のデータを取りに行くはめになったオレ💧
And now I’ve been roped into collecting data on Akuma. 💧
…まさか、豪鬼が今回の師匠？
…Wait a minute. Could Akuma be my new master this time?
リュウ師匠がいる玄武寺に、烈さんという人が豪鬼の居場所を知っているとの情報をキャッチ！
I caught wind of some information: a man named Retsu, who apparently knows where Akuma is, can be found at Genbu Temple, where my master Ryu lives.
一路、リュウ師匠が居る日本へ
So, off I go to Japan, where Master Ryu is waiting!
やった～、久しぶり～♪
Yaaay! It’s been ages～♪
寿司・焼肉・ラーメン・スイーツ・アニメ・マンガ…たくさん楽しむぞ～♡
Sushi, yakiniku, ramen, sweets, anime, manga… I’m going to enjoy ALL of it! ♡
リウ「あ？ それ主旨が違うくね
⁉」
Liu: “Huh? Isn’t that completely missing the point?! ”
軽いノリの研究員・リウさんじゃあなくても、ツッコみたくなるほどの浮かレオン💧
Even without a lighthearted researcher like Liu around, someone would have to call me out on being such a carefree Leon. 💧
なんとか玄武寺に到着しました。
Somehow, I finally made it to Genbu Temple.
相変わらず、座禅を組んでいるリュウ師匠…お久しぶりっす♪
As always, Master Ryu was sitting in meditation.
Long time no see, Master! ♪
↑左にいる人が烈さん。早速、話を聞いてみよう。
↑ The man on the left is Retsu. Let’s go ask him right away.
※烈とは？…初代ストリートファイターに出てきた敵。気性が荒く、私闘を繰り返したことにより破門されてしまった破戒僧。
若い頃のリュウとも手合せをしており、それがきっかけで悔い改め、現在は格闘家として修行に励む。甘いものに目がない💧
※ Who is Retsu?
A former enemy who appeared in the original Street Fighter. He was a hot-tempered, rebellious monk who was expelled from his temple after repeatedly getting into fights outside the dojo.
He also fought the young Ryu when they were both younger. That encounter made him reconsider his ways, and now he devotes himself to training as a martial artist.
He has a particular weakness for sweets. 💧

Whoa! An unexpected old-man dirty joke! Here we go～! 💦

獄炎島…殺人事件でも起きそうな島名💧(それは、獄門島 or 悪霊島 or 黒門島←トリック💧)
Hellfire Island…
That’s the kind of name you’d expect to hear in a murder mystery. 💧 (Like The Devil’s Island, Island of Evil Spirits, or Black Gate Island from the TRICK series. ←💧)
まぁ、豪鬼にピッタリの名前の島です💧
Well, I suppose it’s a fitting name for an island where Akuma might be hiding. 💧
…って、そんな島、簡単に行けるの～？
…But wait, can I really get to an island like that so easily?
このチケットさえあれば、何処でも…、
With this ticket, you can go anywhere…
行けちゃうんです♪
Just like that! ♪
日本にある獄炎島の炎魔洞門へGO！
Off to Enma’s Gate, on Hellfire Island in Japan!
着いたところは、殺人事件なんてもんじゃあない…もっと禍々しい場所でした💦
The place I arrived at was far more sinister than any ordinary murder-mystery setting. 💦
このオレを震え上がらせるほどの豪鬼の凄まじい殺気…。
Akuma’s overwhelming killing intent was so terrifying that it actually sent shivers down my spine…
…と、とにかく、今までの師匠へ弟子入りした時のように、豪鬼と１戦交えてみよう！
B-but anyway, just like when I became a student of my previous masters, let’s try fighting Akuma first!
あ、あれ～💦？
H-huh～? 💦
良い感じで戦っていたのに…豪鬼が無言で試合を中断しちゃう💧
Things were going pretty well, but then Akuma suddenly stopped the fight without saying a word. 💧
そのまま試合終了の流れ…。
And that was it. The match simply ended…
それ以上、何もできない💧 何も言ってくれない💧
I couldn’t do anything else. 💧 He wouldn’t say anything, either. 💧
これじゃあ、オレの必殺技「キラースマイル
」で相手をメロメロにさせることも出来なそうだな…。←💧？
At this rate, I don’t think even my special move, “Killer Smile” , could make him fall head over heels for me…

仕方ないので、もう１度「豪鬼の事にちと詳しい」烈さんに聞きに行こう💦

「おぬしの師匠らが力になってくれる」？…それがヒント？
“Your masters will be able to help you.”
…Is that supposed to be a hint?
ミッションクリア目標を見れば一目瞭然…便利な機能だね♪
If I look at the mission objectives, the answer is obvious!
What a convenient feature! ♪
まずはリュウ師匠とお手合わせ！
First, I’ll have a sparring match with Master Ryu!
「畏れ」…か。
“Fear”…
確かに、豪鬼師匠に初めて会った時の殺気にオレは震えてしまった。
That’s right. When I first encountered Master Akuma, his killing intent was so overwhelming that I was actually trembling.
さすが、リュウ師匠。この手合わせで、オレの心の畏れを見抜くとは！
As expected of Master Ryu! He saw right through the fear in my heart during our sparring match!
それを克服しないと、豪鬼師匠に相手もされないわけだな…。
Unless I overcome that fear, Master Akuma won’t even consider fighting me seriously…
次は、ルーク師匠に会うために、メトロシティへ！
Next, I headed back to Metro City to meet Master Luke!

ルーク師匠に１番痛いところを突かれた～💦
Master Luke hit me right where it hurts the most! 💦
「自信のなさ」…か。
“Lack of confidence”…
今まで、いろんな師匠に弟子入りして身体は強くなったけど、心はオレのまま。
That’s right. I’ve trained under all kinds of masters and my body has certainly become stronger, but my heart is still the same old me.
いろんな修羅場を経験したオレでも、格闘という世界ではまだまだひよっこという甘い気持ちでいた。
Even after experiencing all sorts of dangerous situations, I’d still been thinking of myself as a mere rookie in the world of martial arts.
それをこの１戦で、ルーク師匠に見抜かれた～💦
Master Luke saw right through that in just one fight! 💦
もう、オレも１格闘家として、自信を持たないといけない！
It’s time for me to stop thinking that way and start having confidence in myself as a martial artist!
…って、このリュウとルークの２師匠強すぎ💧
…But seriously, these two masters, Ryu and Luke, are WAY too strong! 💧
久しぶりにメトロシティに来たら、周りのレベル上がり過ぎ💦
Ever since I last visited Metro City, the overall level of everyone here seems to have gone through the roof! 💦
あっさり、２人に負けちゃったし…。
I ended up losing to both of them without much of a fight…
取り敢えず、２師匠の指摘を胸に…、
Anyway, keeping the advice from my two masters firmly in mind…
３度目の挑戦！
Time for a third attempt!
強ぇ…強ぇよ、豪鬼。…だって、レベルが違い過ぎるもん💦！ (…というのは冗談で💧)
You’re strong… SO strong, Akuma!
I mean, the level difference is just ridiculous! 💦
(…Just kidding, of course. 💧)
最後のレオンは笑ったようです💧
Apparently, Leon smiled at the end. 💧
ちょっと、そうは見えなかったけど…。
Although, I couldn’t really tell from his expression…

やった～♪ 修行つけてもらえる～！…って、その後、怖～💦

…But then, what happened afterward was SCARY!
やっぱり、豪鬼師匠、怖ぇ～わ！
As expected, Master Akuma is terrifying!

Since I couldn’t beat Master Akuma easily, I continued training and eventually challenged him again!
それでも激強な豪鬼師匠
And yet, Master Akuma was still incredibly powerful!
エナジードリンクＬを使い、体力回復💦
I used an Energy Drink L to recover my health. 💦
これで１勝１敗！
That makes it one win and one loss each!
ファイナルラウンド！
Final Round!
要塞キャラメル…ダメージを軽減使用💧
Fortified Caramel… to reduce the damage I take. 💧
秘薬を使い、体力とドライブゲージ全回復💦
I also used a special medicine to fully restore both my health and Drive Gauge! 💦

At long last, I finally managed to win! 💦
…まぁ、単純にレベルを上げとけば良かったんですけどね～💧
…Well, I suppose I could’ve simply leveled up more before fighting him. 💧
急に渋～いポエムを披露してくる豪鬼師匠💧
Suddenly, Master Akuma starts reciting a rather profound poem. 💧
要約すると「日々の鍛錬を怠るな！」ということですね！
To sum it up, I guess he’s saying:
“Never neglect your daily training!”

Once again, I’ve strengthened my bond with my new master and become stronger in both body and mind!
メトロシティ…というよりも日本に滞在してることが長かった今回の修行💧
This time, I actually spent more time in Japan than in Metro City during my training. 💧
(そのお陰で、日本のお土産がた～くさん♪)
(Thanks to that, I ended up with a TON of Japanese souvenirs!)
また新たな出会いがあるなら、真の格闘家として、この世界に戻ってきたいぜ♪
