ちょうど、５カ月ぶりにメトロシティに帰ってきた…レオンです♡
It’s been a while!
I’m Leon, and I’ve finally returned to Metro City for the first time in exactly five months! ♡
またこの街に戻れて嬉しいよ♪
I’m so happy to be back in this city♪
今回も、新師匠が現れたという情報をキャッチ！
This time, I’ve caught wind of a new master making an appearance!
メトロシティに帰って来れたのが久しぶり過ぎて、新たに行ける↑観光スポットでパシャリ
It’s been so long since I last visited Metro City that I couldn’t resist checking out some new ↑ sightseeing spots and snapping a few pictures
それが楽しくて…、楽しくて…ついつい丸１日、遊び惚けちゃった～
And I had so much fun… SO much fun… that I ended up spending the entire day just playing tourist!
以前と同じく、修行とは思えない…浮かれ気分なオレ💧
Just like last time, I was in such a carefree mood that it hardly felt like training at all. 💧
…！
そういえば、今回は滞在期間が短かったんだ～💦 しまった～
Oh, that’s right! My stay in the city was pretty short this time. 💦 Oh, no～!
こんな観光スポットやご当地スイーツを楽しんでいる場合ではなかった！
This was no time to be enjoying sightseeing spots and local sweets!
とにかく、目的を果たさなければ！
I had to accomplish my mission first!
両手に持っていたたくさんのお土産を有料ロッカーにしまい、スイッチを切り替え、慌てて修行に向かうオレなのであった…。
So I stuffed all the souvenirs I’d been carrying in both hands into a paid locker, switched gears, and hurried off to my training…
情報によると、新師匠は地下鉄構内に現れるようなので、早速行ってみよう！ ↑無防備💧
According to the information I received, my new master should be somewhere inside the subway station, so let’s head over there right away! ↑ Completely unguarded. 💧
薄暗い入口に足を踏み入れると…、
As I stepped into the dimly lit entrance…
サブミッション「ネオ・シャドルー総帥？」が発生。
A sub-mission popped up: “Neo Shadaloo’s Leader?”
ややっ！ あの段ボール仮面…懐かし～い♪
Whoa! That Cardboard Mask! It’s been ages～♪
…と想い出に浸るよりも、そのいかがわしさに身の危険を感じさせるような男が近付いてきました。
But before I could get lost in nostalgia, a suspicious-looking guy approached me. Just looking at him made me feel like I was in danger!
しかも、「通せんぼしてやる！」だって～💧
And on top of that, he said, “I’m not letting you through!” 💧
ただでは、プラットフォームには入れてくれないようだ…。
Apparently, he wasn’t going to let me onto the platform without a fight…
「じゃあ…」とばかりに…メトロシティでのお約束…この男をボコってあげました💧
Well, in that case…
I gave him the usual Metro City treatment and beat the crap out of him. 💧
これこそ、懐かしい感覚…。
Now THAT felt nostalgic!
今までの修行の成果があるから、楽勝♪ 楽勝♫
After all the training I’ve done, this should be a piece of cake! Easy peasy! ♫
すぐにプラットフォームに滑り込んできた電車に乗車すると…、
I hopped aboard the train just as it came sliding into the platform…
おや？ 誰かが電車内で追われている！
Huh? Someone’s being chased inside the train!
なぜか、親近感が湧く髪型♪
For some reason, I feel a certain kinship with that hairstyle♪
「アーバンパーク駅」から電車に乗ると…新師匠「エド」が登場。
When I boarded at Urban Park Station, my new master, Ed, finally appeared.
素早い動きと鋭いパンチ力…口の悪さの割には声が高い💧
He’s incredibly fast, and his punches are powerful! Despite his foul mouth, his voice is surprisingly high-pitched. 💧
車内のネオ・シャドルーを一掃すると、電車は「ビートスクエア駅」に到着。
After wiping out the Neo Shadaloo members inside the train, we arrived at Beat Square Station.
師匠・エドを追い、プラットフォームへ。
I followed my master, Ed, onto the platform.
近くにいた一般市民・ヨワシ(💧)に声を掛けてみました。
I decided to strike up a conversation with an ordinary citizen nearby named Yowashi (💧).
金色モヒカン姿でもメトロシティでは、これでも普通の市民…しかも名前がヨワシって💧
Even with his golden mohawk, he’s apparently just an ordinary citizen in Metro City…
And his name is Yowashi (which means something like “weakling”)? 💧
こんなイカツイ格好でも、発言がヨワシ…ですね💧
With an intimidating appearance like that, you’d expect him to say something tough, but even his words are as weak as his name. 💧
ヨワシとの会話が終わると…、一応、ミッションクリアしたらしい…。
After my conversation with Yowashi, it seems I’d completed the mission… at least, I think so.
…！
階段付近にいるエドを発見！
I spotted Ed near the stairs!
「素敵な髪型ですね～♪」と話しかけてみると、
I approached him and said, “You’ve got a wonderful hairstyle～♪”
師匠もオレも格好良い～
My master and I both look so cool～!
最初、オレに敵意むき出しなのかと勘違いしちゃった～💦
At first, I thought he was showing open hostility toward me. My mistake～! 💦
でも、動画になると、なぜかオレの顔がちょっとすっとぼけた表情になるのはなぜだろう
？
But why is it that my face somehow looks a little goofy whenever I appear in the actual video?
キャラエディット画面ではイケてるのに～💧
I look pretty damn good in the character customization screen! 💧
…と、そんな余計なことを考えているうちに、エドと協力して戦うことになったオレ♪
…Anyway, while I was busy thinking about such irrelevant things, I ended up teaming up with Ed for a fight! ♪
師匠、分かりました！ 実戦で鍛えていくってことですね？ 手本を見させてもらいます‼
I see, Master! So you’re going to train me through actual combat, right?
I’ll watch and learn from your example‼
２人で見事に増援部隊を撃破
The two of us successfully defeated the reinforcements!
その後…、やっぱり師匠の技に惚れこんでしまったオレ。
Afterward… as expected, I was completely impressed by my master’s fighting skills.
そ、そうだけど💦…もっと詳しく知りたい！
So, that’s true… 💦 But I want to know more!
今までも独特な師匠の修行を習得できたんで…やれます！
I’ve managed to master the unique training methods of my previous masters, so I can handle this too!

やっぱり、この師匠もちょっと変わった性格をしているみたい💧
Looks like this master has a rather unusual personality, too. 💧
ぶっ飛ばされないように、ここは言う通りにしておこう…。
I’d better do as he says if I don’t want to get knocked flying…
ちゃっかり弟子入りできました～！
And just like that, I successfully became his student!

Due to Shadaloo’s experiments, he rapidly grew from a boy into a young man.
He fights using Psycho Power and the boxing techniques he learned from Balrog.

He’s traveling around trying to free the other experimental subjects…
Surprisingly, he’s actually a pretty good guy.
His short temper and foul mouth are things he picked up from Balrog.

とっくに、いろんなヤベぇところに顔を突っ込み過ぎて…もう慣れっこです💧
I’ve already stuck my nose into so many dangerous places that I’m pretty much used to it by now. 💧
そっか～💧 そりゃあ、心も歪むよな…。
I see～💧 No wonder his heart has become so twisted…
あぁ、ベガが率いていたあの組織。
Ah, yes. That organization once led by Vega.
確かに！ 師匠のこの強さは「ネオ・シャドルー」から狙われてもおかしくない。
That’s true! With my master’s incredible strength, it’s no wonder Neo Shadaloo would have their eyes on him.
師匠…壮絶な子供時代を過ごしたんだね💧
Master… you really had a terrible childhood, didn’t you? 💧
こんな口の悪い師匠が、生い立ちを話してくれるなんて…ちょっとはオレに心を開いてくれたのかな？ 同じような髪型してるし…。
For someone with such a foul mouth to open up and tell me about his past… maybe he’s starting to trust me a little?
We even have similar hairstyles, after all…
そんな師匠と、まずはお手合わせ。
First things first, I had a little sparring match with my master.
(多分、だいぶ手加減してくれた)師匠に勝利
I managed to defeat my master (who probably went pretty easy on me)!
その合間に、久しぶりの↑観光💧
In between training sessions, I also enjoyed a little ↑ sightseeing. 💧
また、エド師匠と戦って勝利しては…、
Then I’d fight Master Ed again and win…
また、↑観光💧
And afterward, I’d go ↑ sightseeing again. 💧
絆を上げるために、それを繰り返すオレ💦
I kept repeating the process to strengthen our bond. 💦
そうこうしていると、師匠からの呼び出し。
And while I was at it, my master eventually summoned me.
↑そりゃあ、こんなこと言われちゃうよね💧
↑ Well, I guess I deserved to be told off like that. 💧
レオン、修行と観光を行ったり来たりで楽しんでんだもん♪
Leon was having a great time going back and forth between training and sightseeing!
エド師匠「テメェ…修行、舐めてんのか～！」
Master Ed: “Are you taking your training seriously, or what?! ”
…と思ったら、↑の「しつこいったらねぇぜ！」のエド師匠のセリフは、ネオ・シャドルーに対してのことだったみたい💧
…Or so I thought!
It turns out that Ed’s line above, “They’re getting on my nerves!”, was actually directed at Neo Shadaloo, not me. 💧
奴らに未だにしつこく追い回されているようです。
Apparently, those guys are still relentlessly chasing after him.

They’re like cockroaches, aren’t they? 💧

I see～ Got it!
師匠を助けるミッション開始！
Time to start a mission to help my master!
まずは構内にいる段ボール男と遭遇。
First, I encountered a Cardboard Man inside the station.
あっさり、段ボール男・スプーン(💧)を撃破！
I easily defeated Cardboard Man, Spoon (💧)!
次の目的地をビビったフォーク(💧)から入手。
Then I got our next destination out of the frightened Fork (💧).
「グレースマリーナ」という港に行けば、元締めに会えるらしい。
Apparently, if I went to a port called Grace Marina, I could meet the guy in charge.
↑テレビや映画の見過ぎ！…でも、確かにそのイメージ💧
↑ You’ve watched way too many TV shows and movies!
…Although, I admit, that’s exactly the kind of image I have in mind, too. 💧
じゃあ、今からでももう１戦する～
？ それでもオレは構わんよ？
Well, how about another round right now?
I don’t mind at all, you know?
…と、その後、何事もなく…すんなり港へ行けちゃうんですけどね！
…But as it turned out, I made it all the way to the port without any further trouble!
フォークさん、↑のセリフは負け犬の遠吠えって言うんですよ♪
Mr. Fork, that line of yours ↑ is what we call a sore loser’s last words! ♪
そして、「グレースマリーナ」に着くと、
And when I arrived at Grace Marina…
この件に、マッドギアが１枚噛んでいたようだ。
It seemed that Mad Gear had a hand in this whole affair.

If it’s Mad Gear, then…
余裕の勝利♪
An easy victory♪
…さっき戦ったスプーンくんもいたんだね。また、ボコっちゃったけど…💧
…Oh, so Spoon, the guy I fought earlier, was here too.
I beat him up again, though… 💧
ダムドの指示ではなくて、ダムドの手下が資金調達のために勝手にやっていたことだったんだね。
So it wasn’t Damnd’s orders after all. It turns out one of his underlings had been doing this on his own to raise some money.
ダムドとオレ…マブダチよ？ チクっちゃおっかな～
どうしよっかな～？
Damnd and I are best buddies, you know?
Maybe I should tell him what you’ve been up to～
Hmm… what should I do～?

…そんなことより、この事をエド師匠に報告せねば！

Anyway, more importantly, I had to report everything to Master Ed!
はい、手口が単純ですね～。
Yep, their method was pretty straightforward.

I went for a casual look with a green pilot jacket, white T-shirt, blue distressed jeans, and black sneakers!
今回も新師匠との絆を深めて、問題も一件落着♪ また強くなったオレ
Once again, I’ve strengthened my bond with my new master, resolved the trouble, and become even stronger!
次の任務が迫っているので、メトロシティ滞在が短くて残念だ。
It’s a shame my stay in Metro City was so short, since my next mission is already approaching.
(…と言っている割に、両手にはお土産の山💧)
(…Although, judging by the mountain of souvenirs I’m carrying in both hands, you’d never know it. 💧)
これからも新たな出会いがあるなら、何度でもこの街に戻ってきたいぜ♪
