先週、訪れた二見興玉神社。
Futami Okitama Shrine, which they visited last week.
御朱印を載せ忘れたので↑改めて貼付💧
I forgot to include the goshuin last time, so here it is.
夫婦岩のハンコがステキですね～♪
The Meoto Iwa stamp is beautiful, isn’t it？
そして、お守りも載せ忘れてました💦
I also forgot to include the omamori💦
↑日の出守(右) 若かえる守💧(左)←だから、おたまじゃくし💧
Shrine Amulet (right), ‘Wakagaeru’ Amulet (left)ーit means ‘to become young again,’ which is why it’s a tadpole💧
それでは、内宮に辿り着いたレオン御一行！
And now, Leon and his group have finally arrived at the Inner Shrine！
その続きから、今週もスタート‼
Let’s pick up where they left off!!
鳥居に１礼！ 宇治橋を渡ります♪
Bow once at the torii gate！ Now they cross Uji Bridge♪
この鳥居と宇治橋は、俗世と聖域を分ける境界なのだそう…。
This torii and Uji Bridge are said to mark the boundary between the secular world and the sacred realm…
今日も参拝客でいっぱいです。
It’s crowded with visitors again today.
橋の長さは101.8m。
The bridge is 101.8meters long.
両端の鳥居は、正宮の柱をリサイクルしているそうです。
The torii gates at both ends are said to be made from recycled pillars from the main sanctuary.
その下には、五十鈴川(いすずがわ)。
Beneath ids flows the Isuzu River.
「日本書紀」によると、天照大御神がこの地を大変気に入り、その教えのままに第11代垂仁(すいにん)天皇の皇女・倭姫命(やまとひめのみこと)が五十鈴川の川上…つまり、ここに宮をお建てしたのだそうです。
According to the Nihon Shoki, Amaterasu was so pleased with this land that, following her divine guidance, Yamatohime-no-Mikoto, the imperial princess of Emperor Suinin, built a shrine upstream along the Isuzu River…in other words, right here.
そんな、神聖な橋の中央でジルを

橋を渡ると、神苑が見えてきました。
After crossing the bridge, the shin’en comes into view.
※神苑とは？…神社の境内。または、神社に付属する庭園のこと。
What is a shin’en？…It refers to the shrine grounds, or a garden attached to a shrine.
そこで、レベッカを

緑豊かな参道を歩いて、↑手水舎前までやってきました。
Waking along the lush, green approach, they arrived ↑at the temizusha.
ここで一旦、トイレタ～イム！
First, a quick restroom break！
その後、手水舎でいつも通り、(身も心も💧)手や口を清めました
After that, as usual at the temizusha, they purified both body and mind…washing our hands and rinsing their mouths.
「トイレ後はちゃんと手洗いしてから、手水舎へ行ったからな💦！」
“Hey, I washed my hands properly after using the restroom before going to the temizusha, okay💦？”
その近くの橋前でバリーを

鳥居に１礼！
A respectful bow at the torii gate！
先に進むと、五十鈴川の川辺まで降りれる階段が見えてきました。
As they head further on, they see steps leading down to the banks of the Isuzu River.
そこは「五十鈴川御手洗場(いすずがわみたらしじょう)」！
This is the Isuzu River Mitarashi-jo！
大昔から、参拝前に心身を清める場所です
Since ancient times, it has been a place to purify both body and mind before worship
川の中には小魚がいっぱい！ なんと、手を入れても逃げません💦
There are lots of small fish in the river！
They don’t even swim away when you put your hand in💦
「人に襲われないことを知っているのかしら？」
“Maybe they know people won’t harm them？”
「神様が住む川だからな…。」
“Well, it’s a river where the gods reside…”
「いくら生魚好きでも、そんな罰当たりなことは誰もしないわよね…？」(レオンをチラリ)
“No one would do something so sacrilegious－ no matter how much they like raw fish…right？” (glances at Leon)
「しませんよ
！ さすがにオレだって～💧」
“I wouldn’t！ Even I have my limits💧”
↑画像には小銭が写っていますが、そんな俗世のものを神聖な五十鈴川に投げ入れてはいけません！
You can see some coins in the shot, but you ed Isuzu River！
なので、水に手を入れて身を清め、感謝の気持ちを伝えるだけにしました。
So instead, they just placed their hands in the water to purify themselves and offered their gratitude.
五十鈴川のほとりでレオンを

「お清めパワー」
”Purification power”
その近くに五十鈴川を守護する「瀧祭神(たきまつりのかみ)」！
Nearby is the deity Takimatsuri-no-Kami, who protects the Isuzu River.
地域住民からは「おとりつぎさん」として親しまれ、内宮(正宮)に詣でる前に参拝すると、天照大御神に願いを取り次いでくれるそうです。
Locals affectionately call this deity ‘Otoritsugi-san,’ and it’s said that if you pray here before visiting the Inner Shrine, your wishes will be conveyed to Amaterasu.
そのまま道なりに進み…、内宮の最奥へ！
Following the path, they continue on toward the innermost area of the Inner Shrine！
正宮に到着
They’ve arrived at the Main Sanctuary
階段から先は撮影禁止！
Photography is prohibited beyond the steps！
約2000年前から、皇位のしるしとして受け継がれる三種の神器の１つである「八咫鏡(やたのかがみ)」をご神体としてお祀りしています。
Enshrined here as the sacred object of worship is the Yata no Kagami, one of the Three Sacred Treasures that have been passed down as symbols of the imperial lineage for around 2,000 years.
「やっと会いに来れました
ありがとうございます♪」
“I’ve finally made it here to see you Thank you so much♪”
４人全員で感謝の祈りを捧げました。
All four of us offered a prayer of gratitude together.
こんなに大勢の人がいるのに、聞こえるのは風で木の枝が揺れる音と鳥のさえずりだけ。
Even with so many people around, the only sounds you can here be the wind rustling the branches and birds singing.
聖なる地とはそういうもの
that’s what a sacred place is like
…2000年の歴史を感じた４人なのでした。
…And the four of them truly felt the weight of 2,000 years of history.
その右隣には「式年遷宮御敷地」。
To the right is the site reserved for the Shikinen Sengu.
外宮と同じく…次は、令和15年(2033年)。
Just like at the Outer Shrine…The next one will be in 2033.
続いて、天照大御神の荒御魂が祀られている「荒祭宮(あらまつりのみや)」へ！
Next, they head to Aramatsuri-no Miya, where the aramitama (the active, assertive spirit) of Amaterasu is enshrined！
その道中…、
Along the way…
「御稲御倉(みしねのみくら)」や、
Mishine-no-Mikura,’ among others.
※御稲御倉とは？…神田から収穫した御稲が納められている建物。
御稲とは祭典の時に神前にお供えするお米のこと。
What is Mishine-no-Mikura？…It’s a storehouse where the sacred rice harvested from the shrine’s rice fields is kept.
This rice is the offering presented to the deities during rituals.
「外幣殿(げへいでん)」も見物。
They also stopped to take a look at the ‘Geheiden,’
※外幣殿とは？…参詣者が幣帛(へいはく)や献上物を捧げる社殿のこと。
幣帛とは、神前に奉献するものの総称。
What is the Geheiden？…It’s a shrine building where worshippers offer heihaku and other dedications.
Heihaku is a general term for offerings presented to the deities.
そして、
And then,
「荒祭宮」に到着。
They’ve arriver at Aramatsuri-no-Miya.
天照大御神の荒御魂を祀る別宮です。
It is an auxiliary shrine dedicated to the aratmitamaー the active, assertive spirit－ of Amaterasu.
※荒御魂とは？…神が特別な働きをする状態、または神が現れたままの状態といわれています。
What is the aramitama？…It is said to be the state in which a deity manifests its dynamic, powerful aspect, or appears in its unrestrained form.
荒祭宮を真横から

丘の上にある荒祭宮から降りてきた道。
The path leading down from Aramatsuri-no-Miya on the hill.
ここも自然が溢れていますね
Nature is abundant here as well
坂道を下って、神楽殿や授与所に向かいます。
They head down the slope toward the Kagura Hall and amulet office.
四至神(みやのめぐりのかみ)を参拝。
They pay their respects to ‘Miya-no-Meguri-no-Kami.’
※四至神とは？…大きな宮の境界を守護する神。四至とは、宮の四方のこと。
What is Miya-no-Meguri-no-Kami？…A deity that guards the boundaries of the great shrine.
‘Shiji (四至)’ refers to the four directions surrounding the shrine.
その近くに「五丈殿(ごじょうでん)」。
Nearby is the ’Gojoden,’
※五丈殿とは？…雨天時の祭典でお祓いやお祈りをする建物。
What is the Gojoden？…It’s a building used for purification rites and prayers during ceremonies held in rainy weather.
神楽殿に到着！
They’ve arrived at the Kagura Hall！
ご祈祷やお神楽を行う御殿です。
It’s a hall where prayers and kagura performances are conducted.
ここではお札やお守りを授かりました～♪
Here, they received talismans and omamori♪
そして、また鳥居が！
And there’s another torii gate！
その先の橋を渡ります。
They cross the bridge ahead.
橋中央から島路川(しまじがわ)を撮影。

五十鈴川の支流です。
It’s a tributary of the Isuzu River.
「春になれば桜がキレイだろうな…。」
“I bet the cherry blossoms are beautiful here in spring…”
橋を渡り、道なりに歩いて行くと…、
Crossing the bridge and continuing along the path…
風日祈宮(かざひのみのみや)に到着！
They’ve arrived at Kazahinomi-no-Miya！
風の神を祀る別宮です。外宮にもいらっしゃいましたね♪
It’s an auxiliary shrine dedicated to the deity of wind－ you may remember there’s one at the Outer Shrine as well♪
ここでも４人全員、感謝の気持ちを伝えました
Here too, all four of them offered their gratitude
水辺には無数のカルガモが♪ ちょうどお昼寝タイム
By the water, there are countless spot-billed ducks♪
Looks like it’s nap time
真っ白なシロサギの姿も確認♪
They also spotted a pure white egret♪
みんなのんびり…のどかですねぇ
Everyone’s so relaxed…it’s wonderfully peaceful here
また橋を渡り、神楽殿前を横切り、次は、
They cross another bridge, pass in front of the Kagura Hall…and next,
２つの社が並んでいます。
Two shrine buildings stand side by side.
大山祇神社(おおやまつみじんじゃ)と、その左横にある…、
Ōyamatsumi Shrine, and just to its left…
子安神社(こやすじんじゃ)を参拝
They pay their respects at Koyasu Shrine
木華開耶姫命(このはなさくやひめのみこと)をお祀りしています。
It enshrines Konohanasakuya-hime-no-Mikoto.

They’re enshrined side by side as parent and child♪
そして、最後に…、
And finally…
↑横から見た宇治橋。参拝客がひっきりなしです。

名残惜しむように、橋の中央から五十鈴川を撮影。
As if reluctant to leave, I took one last photo of the Isuzu River from the center of the bridge.
遠くにサギが数羽遊んでいます♪
A few herons can be seen playing in the distance♪
↑コレが内宮の御朱印 やっぱりシンプル！
This is the goshuin from the Inner Shrine
As expected, it’s beautifully simple！
ここで「大神・アマテラス」の御朱印帳がMAX！
And with this, his Ōkami: Amaterasu goshuin book is finally full！
新たな御朱印帳をここ内宮で授かりました♪
He received a new goshuin book here at the Inner Shrine♪
今回、これもレオンの旅の目的だったのです。
This was actually one of the goals of Leon’s trip.
「これで内宮はお参り出来たわね♪ なんだか名残り惜しいわ💦」
“Now we’ve properly paid our respects at the Inner Shrine♪
I already feel a little sad to leave💦”
「それにしても、レオン。ほとんど会話しなかったわね💧」
“By the way, Leon…you hardly said a word💧”
「あぁ…。
神聖な場所過ぎて、フザケられないし…、無口になっちゃったな～💦」
“Yeah…It’s such a sacred place, I couldn’t joke aroundー made me pretty quiet💦”
「まぁ、オレたちには珍しいことだけど、こんな時もあっても良いんじゃあないか？」
“Well, it’s rare for us, but maybe moments that aren’t so bad.”
「…そうだな。郷に入っては郷に従えってことさ！
…だが、ここからはハッチャけるぜ～
内宮に来たら、絶対行きたい！〈おはらい町〉へGO‼」
“…Yeah, you’re right. When in Rome, do as the Romans do！
…but from here on, we’re cutting loose～
If you come to the Inner Shrine, this is a must-visit！
Let’s head to Oharaimachi!!”
＆＆「YEAH～！」
宇治橋からすぐのお土産・飲食店街「おはらい町」♪
Oharaimachi－ the street of souvenir shops and eateries just past Oji Bridge♪
参拝後の町歩きが楽しめます♪
You can enjoy strolling around town after your visit♪
今は、ちょうどお昼時！
It’s just about lunchtime now！
「何、食べたい？」
“So, what do you want to eat？”
「松坂牛は外せないな！」
“We can’t skip Matsusaka beef！”
「伊勢に来たなら〈伊勢うどん〉も食べたいわ♪」
“If we’re in Ise, I want to try Ise udon too♪”
「う～
どっちも食べたい！」
“Ugh～ I want both！”
「じゃあ、両方叶えましょう！」
“Then let’s make both happen！”
＆＆「え？ ホントに～♪!?」
“What？ Really～♪?!”
「伊勢うどんと松坂牛牛丼セット～」
“Ise udon and a Matsusaka beef gyudon set～”
＆＆「おぉ～！ 贅沢な悩みスッキリ解決～♪」
“Ooh～！ Problem solved in the most luxurious way～♪”
「牛丼、あま美味～♪味、染み染み～」
“This beef bowl is sweet and delicious～♪ The flavor’s soaked in so well”
「うどん…とってもシンプルね～💦
柔らかめのうどんに伊勢醤油とねぎ…のみ。もっと出汁が効いているのかと思ったわ💧」
“The udon…it’s a very simple taste💦
Soft noodles with just Ise soy sauce and green onions.
I expected a richer broth💧”
「むか～しからの味だそうだから多分、こんな感じなんでしょう💧 これは仕方ないわ💦」
“It’s probably been made this way for ages, so I guess that’s just how it is💧
Can’t really help it💦”
「それでも満足、満足♪ ごちそうさま～♡」
“Still, I’m satisfied♪ Thanks for the meal～♡”
なんやかんやでペロッとたいらげ、店から出るレオンたち。
All in all, they polished it off in no time and headed out of the restaurant.
「さて、次は…っと！」
“Alright, next up…！”
「…そうね。
今日も多めに、お土産買い込んでおいた方が良いわよね～💧」
“…Right.
We should probably stock up on plenty of souvenirs today too💧”
「片っ端から美味しそうなものを買い込んじゃいましょうか💦？」
“Why don’t we just grab anything that looks tasty？”
「それはそれで楽しみだな♪」
“That sounds like fun too♪”
「やや！ ここは外せない‼」
“Oh！ We can’t skip this!!”

実はこちらが本家本元！
This is actually the original main shop！
「磯揚げ まる天」本社が泊まったホテルの近くにあるのです‼
The headquarters of Maruten Isoage is near the hotel where They’re staying!!
「なんという偶然！」
“What a coincidence！”
レオンのお奨め通り、みんなで↑「たこ棒」をお土産に買いました～♪
Following Leon’s recommendation, they all bought ‘Tako-bō’ as souvenirs～♪
そして、「おはらい町」の中ほどにある「おかげ横丁」へ！
The they headed to Okage Yokocho, located about halfway along Oharaimachi！
ちょっと、風変わりで楽しいお店がいっぱい♪
There are lots of quirky and fun shops around♪
↑伊勢の老舗精肉店「豚捨」
A long-established butcher shop in Ise, Butasute.
常に行列が絶えません！
There’s always a line！
↑定番のコロッケ(左)とミンチカツ(右)(関東ではメンチカツって言うよね♪？)

(They call it ‘menchi-katsu’ in the Kanto region, right♪？)
４人それぞれが購入♪
Each of the four of us got one♪
「揚げ物の良い匂い♪ 今、食べちゃいたいくらい💕」
“That delicious fried aroma…I almost want to eat it right now💕”
続いて、
Next up,
鳥料理専門店「とりぶん倭」
the chicken specialty restaurant ‘Toribun Yamato’
「とりまぶし」や「炭火焼重」が店内で食べられます。
You can enjoy torimabushi and charcoal-grilled chicken rice boxes inside.
レオンたちはお昼を他で食べてしまったので、食べ歩きできる「鳥皮せんべい」を購入♪
Since Leon and the others had already eaten lunch elsewhere, they bought some ‘chicken skin crackers’ to snack on while walking♪
「うっま～

“So good～ Crispy chicken skin～♪”
余りにも美味しくて、持ち帰り用に再度購入！
It was so delicious that they bought more to take home！

They headed back to Oharaimachi, and next…
猿田彦神社へ！
Off to Sarutahiko Shrine！
おかげ横丁から、徒歩約７分。
About a ７-minute walk from Okage Yokocho.
「猿田彦…珈琲…
？」
“Sarutahiko…coffee…？”
「レオン、あまりフザけない方が…💧」
“Leon, maybe don’t joke around too much…💧”
「あら？
実際の珈琲店もこの神様をあやかって名付けたそうよ!?
だから、あながちフザけてるワケじゃあないわ！」
“Oh？
Apparently, an actual coffee shop was named after this deity as well.
So, it’s not entirely a joke！”
「そ、そうなのか！」
“R-Really？”
「…フ、フザけてないも～ん💦」(そうだったんだ～！知らなかった～💦)
“…I-I wasn’t joking～💦” (So that’s why！ I had no idea～💦)
(↑これだもの。内宮では無口なはずよね💧)
(No wonder he stayed so quiet at the Inner Shrine…💧)
まずは、手水舎で身を清める４人。
First, the four of them purify themselves at the temizusha.
御本殿でお祈り
Prayers at the main sanctuary
ここではガッツリ、お願い事をしちゃいました💧
Here, they went all in and made some earnest wishes💧
↑「たから石」
Takara-Stone.
宝船のような舟形石に富を象徴するような白蛇が乗ったように見える、めでたい形の石。
A lucky stone shaped like a treasure ship, appearing as if a white snakeー symbolizing wealth－ is resting upon it.
↑「古殿地」(こでんち)
Ko-denchi.
拝殿正面にある方角を刻んだ八角の石。
An octagonal stone in front of the worship hall, marked with the directions.
「自分の干支に小銭を置いちゃうわ♪」
“I’m going to place a coin on my zodiac sign♪”
「年齢がバレるわよ💧」
“That’ll give away your age💧”
「２人とも、干支の意味…知っているのか💦？」
“Do you two even know what the zodiac signs mean…💦？”
「結構、みんな年食ってるよな～💦 バイオの世界も高齢化💧」
“Man, we’re all getting pretty old, huh～💦
Even the Resident Evil world is aging💧”

ここから、内宮で購入したおNEWの御朱印帳です
From here on, he’s using the brand-new goshuin book he got at the Inner Shrine
続いて、更にそこから徒歩20分💦
Next, it’s another 20-minute walk from here💦
月読宮(つきよみのみや)に到着！
They’ve arrived at Tsukiyomi-no-Miya！
まずは鳥居前で１礼！
First, a respectful bow at the torii gate！
昨日は外宮、今日は内宮のツキヨミ様。
Yesterday at the Outer Shrine, and today they visit Tsukiyomi-sama at the Inner Shrine.
鳥居からすぐの葭原神社(あしはらじんじゃ)。
Right near the torii is Ashihara Shrine.
五穀豊穣の神…佐佐津比古命(ささつひこのみこと)
宇加之御玉御祖命(うかのみたまみおやのみこと)
伊加利比売命(いかりひめのみこと)をお祀りしています。
It enshrines the deity of bountiful harvests, Sasatsuhiko-no-Mikoto, as well as Uka-no-Mitama-no-Mikoto and Ikari-hime-no-mikoto.
更に奥に進むと、手水舎があり身を清め、その先には…、
Going further in, there is a temizusha where they purify themselves and beyond that…
４つある社の参拝順が丁寧に記されていました。
The recommended order of worship for the four shrines was carefully displayed.
(↑のパンフレットにもあるように)
看板からすぐに、キレイに並んだ社が！
(As also shown in the pamphlet above) the neatly aligned shrines are just beyond the sign！
まずは、教えられた通りに、
First, as instructed, they…
月読宮から参拝。
Visiting Tsukiyomi-no-Miya.
「コスプレさせていただきました♪ありがとうございます」
“I even got to do a cosplay♪ Thank you very much”

続いて、月読荒御魂宮を参拝。
Next, they visit Tsukiyomi Aramitama-no-Miya.
それから、お父様の伊佐奈岐宮(いざなぎのみや)を参拝。
Then, they visit Izanagi-no-Miya, the father.
最後にお母様の伊佐奈彌宮(いざなみのみや)を参拝。
Finally, they visit Izanami-no-Miya, the mother.
「メガテンでは、お二方には大変お世話になりました」
“In the game Megami Tensei, I’ve really relied on both of you”
「コ、コラッ💦！」
“H-hey, cut it out💦！”

外宮とは違う漢字が使われているので、見比べてみるのも楽しいですね♪
It uses different kanji compared to the Outer Shrine, so it’s fun to compare them side by side♪
これにて、本日の目的は達成！
With this, today’s mission is complete！
この時まだ午後４時半位で外は明るいですが、ホテルへ帰ります♪
It was only around 4:30 p.m. at this point, and it was still bright outside, but they headed back to the hotel♪
それでも朝早くから、結構歩き回りましたね💦
Even so, they did quite a bit of walking since early this morning💦
