Hello, everyone! ♪

レオンたちが連れ去られたのに、後を追わず、その大きな家を物色しようとしている…エイダです♫

It’s Ada, who’s more interested in searching that big house for items than chasing after Leon and the others, even though they’ve just been kidnapped! ♫

今週も「エイダ・ウォンという女」(続バイオ４攻略日記)…続きをやっていきたいと思います。

This week, let’s continue with Ada Wong: The Woman Behind the Name (Resident Evil 4 Walkthrough Diary — Continued)!

レオンたちも気になるけど…、この家に残されたアイテムの方が気になるわ！

I’m worried about Leon and the others, of course, but… I’m even more curious about the items left behind in this house!

早速、中に入ってみましょう‼(ため息が出るくらいの強欲)

Let’s head inside right away! ‼ (Greed so overwhelming it could make you sigh.)

…やっぱり、見張りは残っていたようね。

…As I suspected, they left a guard behind.

１対１なら全然平気！と蹴りをお見舞い‼

One-on-one? No problem! I give him a good kick! ‼

…簡単に倒せたけど、この部屋…ペセタ以外、碌なものがないわ💧

…I took him down easily, but there’s hardly anything worthwhile in this room apart from pesetas. 💧

一番奥の部屋にも、村人が！

There’s another villager in the room at the very back!

弾節約のお手本のような倒し方を披露したけど…、

I demonstrate a textbook example of how to take down an enemy while conserving ammo, but…

…600ペセタ！

…600 pesetas?!

小銭しか持ってないの～？大技、見せて損したわ

You only had pocket change on you?! I went to all that trouble showing off my special move for nothing!

…寄り道した割には、大したものが手に入らなかったわね💧(眠気が吹っ飛ぶほどの強欲)

…For all that detouring, I didn’t get anything particularly worthwhile. 💧 (My greed is enough to chase away any drowsiness.)

もう、こんな家、早く出て…レオンたちを追いましょ！

Enough of this house! Let’s get out of here and go after Leon and the others!

さっき、来たはずのトンネルなのに、なぜか不気味さを感じたので、

Even though I’d already been through this tunnel, something about it felt creepy, so…

トンネルの中から、ライフルのスコープを覗くと…、

I look through my rifle scope from inside the tunnel…

やっぱり！村人がエイダを出待ちしていました。

Just as I thought! A villager was waiting for Ada to show up.

熱心なファンのようです。

Looks like I have a devoted fan!

(↑音なし)

(Sound off ↑)

「だったら、もっと萌え上がらせてあげる♩」

“In that case, I’ll make you even more excited! ♩”

…と、今週も「燃やしてみた」映像がバッチリ撮れました♫

…And once again this week, I managed to capture some excellent footage for my ‘Let’s Set Them on Fire!’ video series! ♫

ファン大歓喜！

The fans go wild!

紙テープをステージに投げ込むように、鎌を投げてくる村人(ファン)もいます💧

Some of my fans even throw sickles at me, just like people tossing streamers onto a stage. 💧

そんなファンたちに、ハンドガンや蹴りという洗礼を浴びせるエイダなのでした。

Ada responds to these enthusiastic fans by giving them a proper welcome with her handgun and some kicks!

この先の農道も、いっぱい出待ちしてそうね💧

The farm path ahead looks like it’ll have plenty of people waiting for me, too. 💧

…と思ったら、意外とアッサリ。

…But surprisingly, it was all over in no time.

コッコが、数羽、地面をついばんでいるだけでした。

There were only a few chickens pecking at the ground.

コッコをイジメても何も出ないので、しばらく様子を見ていると、

Picking on the chickens doesn’t get me anything, so I watch them for a while…

ポワンと「卵(白)」を産んでくれました💧 …この際、白でもありがたい♪

And then, pop! One of them lays a White Egg for me. 💧

…At this point, I’ll gladly take a white one! ♪

村中心部へと続く出口近くに、光るものが！

There’s something shining near the exit leading back to the village center!

…でも、やっぱり「スピネル」。

…But, of course, it’s another Spinel.

もう、あまり高価なものに期待しないで、「光るもの＝スピネル」と思い込むようになりました。

I’ve stopped expecting anything particularly valuable. Now I’ve trained myself to think, “If it shines, it’s a Spinel!”

さぁ、村に帰ってきたわよ！

All right, I’m back in the village!

入って早々に男女村人がお出迎え。

As soon as I enter, a male and a female villager come out to greet me.

「オッパイのペラペラソース！」(空耳)がすぐに聞けます。

I can immediately hear the classic misheard line, “O-PPAI NO PERA-PERA SOUCE!”

各家々の木箱と樽が復活。また、お宅拝見しなくちゃね♫(二度見するほどの強欲)

The wooden crates and barrels in each house have respawned, too. Time to inspect the homes again! ♫ (Greed so intense I’d have to take a second look.)

(↑音なし)

(Sound off ↑)

バリーン！

CRASH!

ここの窓も直っていたから、飛び込んでみちゃった～♪

The window here has been repaired, too, so I decided to jump right through it! ♪

おてんばエイダ…そんなことすると、普通だったら素肌を曝した部分が、ガラスのせいで血まみれになるよ💧

Ada, you little tomboy! 💧 If this were real life, the exposed parts of your body would be covered in blood from all that broken glass!

その後、村中心にある大きな焚き火まで行こうとすると…、

After that, I head toward the large bonfire in the center of the village…

村人たちが集まり、村長宅へ通じる道の守りを固めていました。

And discover that a group of villagers has gathered to guard the road leading to the chief’s house.

ん？

Hmm?

よく見ると、手前にいる男が着ているジャケット…何処かで見たような…？

Looking closely, the jacket worn by the man in front looks strangely familiar…

Where have I seen it before?

とにかく、先に進むため、その村人たちと戦闘。

Anyway, I need to get past them, so I engage the villagers in combat.

…なんとか、全員倒すことが出来ました。

…Somehow, I manage to take every last one of them down.

↑あ！そういえば、そうでした‼

↑ Oh! That’s right! ‼

この村人は、レオンが村に来た時から、このジャケットに目をつけていたのでしょうね💧

This villager must have had his eye on that jacket ever since Leon first arrived in the village. 💧

もしかしたら、レオンが気絶した後に、

Maybe, after Leon passed out, something like this happened:

村人「村長！ ↑これ欲しいです‼」

Villager: “Chief! I want this jacket! ‼”

村長「…いいよ♡」

Chief: “…Sure, you can have it. ♡”

村人「わぁ～い、やった～♪」

Villager: “Yaaay! Thank you! ♪”

…という、村長と可愛いやりとりでもあったのかもしれません。

Perhaps the chief and the villager even had a sweet little exchange like that.

でも、せっかく手に入れたのに…とどめ刺しちゃったけど～💧

But after going to all that trouble to get the jacket… I went and killed him anyway! 💧

そんなことも、お構いなしに村長宅に急ぎます。

Not that any of that stops me from hurrying straight to the chief’s house!

…一方、レオンも村長宅に到着。

Meanwhile, Leon has also arrived at the chief’s house.

入室時、銃を構える仕草が可愛い♪(エイダ編でしか見れない貴重な映像)

The way he raises his gun as he enters is so cute! ♪ (A rare animation you can only see in Ada’s story.)

エイダも自慢のフックショットで村長宅に軽やかに潜入。

Ada makes a graceful entrance into the chief’s house using her trusty Grapple Hook.

(↑音なし)

(Sound off ↑)

レオンのピンチを救ったけど…まさかのエイダの方がピンチに！

I save Leon when he’s in danger, but… unbelievably, I’m the one who ends up in trouble!

この麻酔の即効性…ゾウ用の麻酔銃でも撃たれたみたい💧

That anesthetic works so quickly! 💧 It’s as if someone shot me with a tranquilizer dart designed for an elephant!

(↑音あり)

(Sound on ↑)

「森ネズミ～♪ 森ネズミ～♫」(空耳)…からの、QTEで攻撃回避！

“Forest Mouse~♪ Forest Mouse~♫” (That’s what it sounds like to me!)

Then I dodge the attack with a QTE!

だけど、エイダのキレイなおみ足に傷が！

But… Ada’s beautiful legs get injured!

何するのよ～！ 跡が残ったら、どうしてくれんのよ～⁉

What do you think you’re doing?! What if the scar doesn’t go away?!

と怒りの村人殲滅。

And so, I angrily wipe out the villagers.

それでも、ちゃっかり洞窟の奥の宝箱を発見！

Even so, I don’t forget to search for the treasure chest deep inside the cave!

中から「ステインの宝石(緑)」GET!

I get a Green Gem for the Elegant Mask!

さすが、エイダ。負傷しても抜かりないね♪

That’s Ada for you. Even when she’s injured, she never misses a thing! ♪

早速、前回の最後の方で取ったお宝…「ステイン」と組み合わせてみました♫

I immediately combine it with the Elegant Headdress I picked up near the end of the previous installment. ♫

そういえば、ここ何処～⁉

By the way… WHERE AM I?!

麻酔で眠らされて、全く分からない所に運ばれたエイダ。

After being knocked unconscious by the anesthetic, Ada has been taken somewhere completely unfamiliar.

それでも任務のため、Keep goingしなくてはいけません。

But the mission comes first, so I have to keep going!

洞窟を抜けた先には上下両方に行ける階段がありました。

Beyond the cave, there’s a staircase leading both up and down.

まずは、上に上がってみると…、

First, I head upstairs…

止まっているゴンドラがあり、次はそれに乗って、先に進まなければならないようです。

There’s a stationary gondola, and it looks like I’ll need to ride it to proceed.

ですが、ゴンドラを動かすカギが抜き取られていて起動できません。

However, the key that operates the gondola has been removed, so I can’t get it moving.

まずは、そのカギを探さなくてはいけないようです。

Looks like I’ll have to find that key first.

そこにあった謎の「鉄製のカギ」。

I find a mysterious Iron Key lying there.

ゴンドラを動かすカギはコレじゃあないみたい。

But apparently, this isn’t the key that operates the gondola.

と、制御室の奥に…武器商人！

And then, at the back of the control room…

The Merchant!

ビックリしたわ～💦

You scared me! 💦

エイダの時だけ、わざと脅かすように立ってない？

Does he deliberately stand in places where he can startle me whenever I’m playing as Ada?

キレイな女性を脅かす…それが武器商人のちょっとした(悪)趣味なのかもしれません💧

Maybe frightening beautiful women is one of the Merchant’s slightly wicked hobbies. 💧

前回手に入れた「金の腕輪」などのお宝を売ったのですが、特に、新たに買うものがないので、そのまま取引終了。

I sell the Golden Bangle and the other treasures I picked up last time, but there’s nothing new I particularly want to buy, so I finish the transaction.

武器商人の後ろに並んでるロッカーから「ショットガンの弾」と「イエローハーブ」GET!

From the lockers lined up behind the Merchant, I collect Shotgun Ammo and a Yellow Herb!

↑これが現段階のアタッシュケース内の様子。

↑ Here’s what the inside of my attaché case looks like at this point.

並んだ卵が腐る前に料理でも披露しましょうか？(なんでもこなせる女スパイ)

Perhaps I should show off my cooking skills before all these eggs go bad! (A female spy who can do just about anything! )

ゴンドラ乗り場の樽から「ハンドガンの弾」GET!

I get some Handgun Ammo from a barrel at the gondola station.

さぁ、さっきの階段を降りてみるわよ‼

All right, let’s head back down those stairs from earlier! ‼

こんなところに「タイプライター」。

There’s a typewriter in a place like this.

レオン編では、武器商人がここでお店を営んでいます。(この時点では、まだ開店準備中)

In Leon’s story, the Merchant runs his shop here. (At this point, he’s still getting ready to open for business.)

さっき、制御室で拾ったカギは、ここで使うのね💧

So, the key I picked up in the control room is used here. 💧

早速、中に入ってみると…、

Let’s go inside and see what’s there…

その大扉を抜けると、暗い森みたいな道が続き、行き止まりには小屋がありました。

Beyond the huge door, there’s a dark, forest-like path, and at the dead end stands a shack.

(↑音なし)

ぎゃあ～💦 チェンソー女子と村人たちが待ち構えいていました！

Aaaah! 💦 A female Chainsaw Villager and several other villagers are waiting for me!

こんな恐ろしいBGMの中、本日２回目の「燃やしてみた」動画💦

With such terrifying background music playing, it’s time for my second ‘Let’s Set Them on Fire!’ video of the day! 💦

威力がないショットガンでとどめを刺し、「ゴンドラ制御装置のカギ」をGET!

I finish off the female Chainsaw Villager with my underpowered Shotgun and obtain the Gondola Control Key!

その小屋から、３色のハーブや弾類のアイテムもGETしました!

I also collect three colors of herbs and various types of ammunition from the shack!

小屋を出ても、見落としてはいけません！

And don’t forget to check carefully even after leaving the shack!

レオン編を知っているなら、小屋のこの脇道もしっかりチェック‼

If you’re familiar with Leon’s story, make sure to inspect this little side path beside the shack, too!

なんと、「ステインの宝石(赤)」を発見♩

Would you believe it? I find a Red Gem for the Elegant Headdress! ♫

これは大事！エイダはやっぱり抜かりない‼

This is important! Ada never misses a thing! ‼

２つ目のお宝も組み合わせてみました♫

I combine the second treasure with its gem, too. ♫

残りはあと１つ！

Only one more gem to go!

小屋からゴンドラへの道。いつもの「ごへろー」おばさんも出待ちしてました。

On the path from the shack back to the gondola, the familiar “Gohe-ro” lady is waiting for me again.

今回もきっちり…殲滅という名のファンサービス終了♪

And once again, I give her the full treatment… another round of total annihilation, officially bringing my fan service to an end! ♪

「行きはよいよい。帰りは恐い～♩」ってこのことなのね💧

“So easy going there, so scary coming back~ ♩”

Ah, so that’s what that saying means! 💧

さっき、素通りできたところも何が待ってるか分からないエイダ編。この先も思いやられますね💦

In Ada’s story, even places I passed through without trouble before can turn dangerous without warning. I’m starting to worry about what’s waiting for me next! 💦

タイプライターの所にも、

There’s trouble at the typewriter, too…

さっき、降りてきた階段にも、村人が行く手を拒んできます。

And even on the staircase I just came down, villagers are blocking my way.

おっと！これは武器商人💧

Oh! It’s the Merchant! 💧

ゴンドラ制御室までなんとか戻って来れました。

Somehow, I’ve managed to make it back to the gondola control room.

早速「ゴンドラ制御のカギ」を使い、ゴンドラを動かします。

I immediately use the Gondola Control Key to get the gondola moving.

なんか、古めかしいものだけど、やっと乗ることが出来ました♪

It’s an old-looking contraption, but I can finally climb aboard! ♪

終点に到着。

I’ve arrived at the end of the line.

そのまま、真っすぐに道を進むと、

I follow the path straight ahead…

不気味で大げさな大扉がありますが、開けることが出来ません。

There’s a huge, ominous-looking door that’s ridiculously elaborate, but I can’t open it.

エイダが言う「おチビさん」とは…あのサラザールのことですね。

The “little guy” Ada mentions is, of course, Salazar.

レオンより長くスパイ活動をしてるんだもの…情報はバッチリ頭に入っているエイダなのです。

I’ve been working as a spy longer than Leon has, after all, so I’ve got all the information I need firmly in my head!

その近くの地面に「スピネル」。

There’s a Spinel on the ground nearby.

そこから坂を下ったところの「タイプライター」がある小屋の裏に「マシンピストルの弾」。

Behind the shack with a typewriter, down the slope from there, I find some TMP Ammo.

その近くの高台に…ぶ、武器商人💦！

And on the nearby elevated platform…

W-Wait! The Merchant?! 💦

こっわ～💦 眼が赤いわ～💦⁉

Creepy! 💦 His eyes are red! 💦⁉

辺りが暗くなったせいで、余計に武器商人の眼が赤く輝いています💧

Now that it’s gotten darker, the Merchant’s eyes are glowing an even more alarming red. 💧

このことから、武器商人も「プラーガ」に感染していることが分かるんですね～。

This tells us that the Merchant is infected with Plaga, too!

それでも、普通に拾ったお宝を売りつけちゃうエイダ。

Even so, Ada casually sells him the treasures she’s collected.

アナタも大概ね…💧 特に買うものもなく…取引終了。

You’re pretty shameless yourself, aren’t you…? 💧

There’s nothing I particularly want to buy, so the transaction ends.

武器商人がいた高台の階段を降りると、「フックショット」の文字が出るので、そこで「□ボタン」を押すと…、

When I descend the stairs from the elevated platform where the Merchant was standing, the “Grapple Hook” prompt appears.

I press the Square button, and…

坑道のような道に出ました。

I arrive on a path that looks like a mine shaft.

坑道を進み、この場所まで行くと、また「フックショット」の文字が出るので「□ボタン」で上に昇ると、

I proceed through the shaft until I reach this spot, where the “Grapple Hook” prompt appears again.

I press the Square button to climb up, and…

櫓があって、そこにあった樽から「救急スプレー」と…、

There’s a wooden watchtower! From a barrel there, I get a First Aid Spray…

なんと、「ステインの宝石(黄)」がありました。

And, would you believe it, a Yellow Gem for the Elegant Headdress!

見落としやすい場所なので、しっかりチェックしましょう♪

It’s easy to overlook this spot, so make sure you check it carefully! ♪

早速、ステインと組み合わせました♫ これで、お宝完成

I immediately combine it with the Elegant Headdress. ♫

And now, the treasure is COMPLETE! ✨

次に、武器商人に会うのが楽しみ～♪

I can’t wait to see the Merchant again! ♪

その近くに建っている小屋から、弾類などのアイテムを回収。

I collect some ammunition and other items from the shack nearby.

頭上のバケツには………何もないんかぃっ💧

And what about the bucket hanging overhead…?

THERE’S NOTHING IN IT?! 💧

レオン編ではお宝があったのに…ブツブツ

In Leon’s story, there was a treasure here!

Grumble, grumble…

あら？もう出口⁉…なんて、気を抜いていると、

Oh? Is that the exit already?!

Just as I’m starting to relax…

(↑音あり)

(Sound on ↑)

ドーン！

BOOM!

エルヒガンテ登場‼

EL GIGANTE APPEARS!! ‼

やっぱり、エイダ編でも出てくるのね💦

So, El Gigante shows up in Ada’s story, too! 💦

チェンソー女子からの立て続けのボス戦…。

A boss battle right after the female Chainsaw Villager…

それなのに、レオンよりも華麗にエルヒガンテの背中に飛び乗り、弱点を切り刻むエイダ。

And yet, Ada leaps onto El Gigante’s back even more gracefully than Leon does and slashes away at its weak point!

突然の巨人襲来でも冷静に対処💧

Even when a giant suddenly appears, she handles the situation calmly. 💧

…エイダのことだから、事前に知っていたのだろうけど、あまりにも手際が良すぎる💦

…Knowing Ada, she probably knew about it in advance, but she’s just too efficient! 💦

ま、私にかかれば…ザッとこんなものよ♪

Well, that’s what happens when you take me on! ♪

何事もなかったかのように、次への扉に進むのでした。

As if nothing had happened, I proceed through the door to the next area.

坂を上がり、開けた空間に出ると…、

I climb the slope and emerge into an open space…

(↑音あり)

(Sound on ↑)

チャプター２終了。

CHAPTER 2 COMPLETE!

ルイス、無事だったのね！

Luis! You’re safe!

建物越しから、レオンの元気な声も聞こえました♪

I can even hear Leon’s lively voice from the other side of the building! ♪

…ホッと、一安心。

…Phew! What a relief.

…って、聞いたら後悔するほどの「組織」ってなんなの～💦⁉

…Wait, what kind of “organization” is so awful that I’d regret hearing about it?! 💦⁉

そこは言わずに濁すんだね。

So you’re just going to leave that part vague, huh?

最後のエイダのため息が意味深…。

Ada’s final sigh is rather intriguing…

それでも、無事にルイスとコンタクトを取れたエイダ。

Even so, Ada has successfully made contact with Luis.

ウェスカーから受けた任務は、なんとか上手くこなせたようです。

It looks like she’s managed to carry out the mission Wesker gave her without too much trouble.

そして、チャプター２を終えた、エイダの感想…というより記録。

And now, here’s Ada’s impression of Chapter 2… or, more accurately, her report.

今回もどうせ音なし動画になるので、敢えて画像で添付しておきました。

Since the video will probably be silent again, I’ve deliberately attached the report as an image instead.

エイダから見たルイス…そして、そこから見た「ロス・イルミナドス教」の考察ですね。

It’s Ada’s perspective on Luis, along with her analysis of the Los Illuminados cult based on what she’s observed.
