Hello, everyone♪
オリジナルバイオ４攻略…続きをやっていきたいと思います。
I’ll continue my walkthrough of the original Resident Evil４.
前回、２つのルートを攻略し、「ステイン」と「仮面」のお宝を完全復元して、武器商人に高価買取してもらったレオン。
Last time, Leon cleared both routes, fully restored the Elegant Mask and the Stein treasures, and sold them to the Merchant for a hefty profit.
村長を倒し、いよいよバイオ４の難関…サラザール城に辿り着いたのでした。
After defeating the village chief, he finally arrived at one of Resident Evil ４’s toughest challenges…Salazar Castle.
今回は長くなってしまったので、前・後編２部構成です💧
THIS chapter ended up being pretty long, so it’s been split into two parts💧
では、今週も「トレジャーハンターレオン」(バイオ４攻略日記)前編…スタートで～す！
Now then, it’s time for Part １ of Treasure Hunter Leon (Resident Evil ４ Playthrough Diary) ！
Let’s get started！
サラザール城に入って早々、武器商人のお店が♪
As soon as he entered Salazar Castle, Leon came across the Merchant’s shop♪
…でも、よくこんなところで経営できるね…敵に塩を贈っている状態なのに💧
…But honestly, how does he even manage to run a business in a place like this？
He’s practically helping out the enemy💧
(設定上、武器商人もサドラーに認められ「プラーガ」を植え付けられている状態です。武器商人の眼が赤いのはそのためです。レオンを敵視するより商魂が勝ってしまった…らしいので、レオンと取引してくれるみたいです💧)
(According to the game’s lore, the Merchant was also accepted by Saddler and implanted with a Plaga. That’s why his eyes are red.
Apparently, his passion for business ended up outweighing any hostility he might have felt toward Leon…which is why he’s still willing to do business with him💧)
取引の前に周辺を探索。
Before making any deals, Leon searched the surrounding area.
まんまドラ〇エにあるような宝箱から、金塊✨が出てきました。…でも、金塊って💧
Inside a treasure chest that looked like it came straight out of Dragon Quest, he found a Gold Bar. …But a Gold Bar💧？
サラザールの隠し財産？…こんな分かりやすいところに隠すなよ～💧
Is this part of Salazar’s secret fortune？
If so, don’t hide it somewhere this obvious💧
でも、近くに蛇入り木箱を置いておく辺り…策士かも💦？
Then again, the fact that there’s a crate with a snake in it nearby…maybe he was a bit of a schemer after all💦
蛇入り木箱の位置は固定ですが、もし中身が分からなければ、木箱を壊す時はナイフを２度振りするのがバイオ４の上手な歩き方です♪
The location of snake-filled crates is fixed, but is you’re not sure what’s inside, a good Resident Evil ４ habit is to slash the crate twice with your knife before getting too close♪
周辺のアイテムを取り終えたら、ここでやっと取引タイム！
After collecting all the nearby items, it’s finally time to do some trading！
(毎度、ライフルスコープからの武器商人のドアップ♡)
(And as always, here’s an extreme close-up of the Merchant through the Rifle Scope♡)
まずは、いつものように宝石を売りましょう♪
First, let’s sell off our gemstones, as usual♪
前回までの繰り越しで、168,560ペセタも貯まってます！
Thanks to the carryover from previous chapters, we’ve already saved up 168,560 pesetas！
ちゃんとお宝・お金を回収しているからですね…さすがトレジャーハンターと名乗っているだけあります✨
That’s what happens when you make sure to collect every treasure and every bit of money…truly worthy of the title ‘Treasure Hunter.’
まず買うのは、アタッシュケースＬからでしょ！
First things first－ it’s time to upgrade to the Large Attache Case！
ここで「マグナム」が買えますが…あとでタダで手に入るので買いません。
You can buy a Magnum here, but since we’ll get one for free later, there’s no reason to buy it.
あと「ショットガン」より威力の高い「ライオットガン」、ボルトアクションがない「セミオートライフル」も買えるようになります。
You can also buy the Riot Gun, which is more powerful than the standard Shotgun, as well as the Semi-Auto Rifle, which doesn’t require bolt-action cycling between shots.
「マインスロアー」は自爆することが多いし、扱いが難しいので私は買いません。
As for the Mine Thrower, I don’t buy it.
It’s tricky to use, and I end up blowing myself up with it more often than not.
使い古した「ショットガン」と「ライフル」を売り、「ライオットガン」と「セミオートライフル」に買い替えます。
After selling the old Shotgun and Rifle, Leon upgrades to the Riot Gun and the Semi-Auto Rifle.
今回は「スコープ」も購入。
This time, he picks up a scope as well.
この時点の武器の改造が完了しても26,060ペセタ余りました✨
Even after fully upgrading his weapons at this point, Leon still had 26,060 pesetas left over✨
そして、この時点のアタッシュケースの様子。
And here’s what the Attache Case looks like at this point.
武器商人とお別れして…いよいよ入城です！
After saying goodbye to the Merchant…it’s finally time to enter the castle！
…と思ったけど、まだ城内じゃないですね。
…Or so I thought, but we’re not actually inside the castle yet.
城の周りを囲む、城壁の中に入っただけでした。
We’ve only made it inside the outer walls that surround the castle.
(ちゃんと写ってないですが💧)レオンたちの前にある上の通路を徘徊している信徒をライフル１発でヘッショ！
(It’s hard to see in the screenshot, but…💧) Leon takes out the cultist patrolling the upper walkway ahead with a single rifle headshot！
(歩いている信徒２人が重なったところで撃ちます。)
(Wait until the two walking cultists line up, then fire.)
先に進むと螺旋階段が！
Moving forward, Leon comes across a spiral staircase！
アシュリーをこの先進めるのは危険なので、この位置で待機させます。
Since it’s too dangerous to take Ashley any farther, he has her wait here for the time being.
螺旋階段をレオン１人で登りきると…、
「魔太郎～！」(信徒空耳)と、赤いローブを着た…信徒の中でも偉そうな、鹿の頭蓋骨を被った信徒が叫んできます。
After climbing the spiral staircase alone, Leon encounters a cultist wearing a deer skull mask and red robesー clearly someone important among the cultists.
He starts shouting what sounds like complete gibberish.
すると、火のついた岩をレオン目掛けて飛ばしてきます💦
Then he begins launching flaming boulders straight at Leon💦
レオン「あっぶね～！ なにすんねん
アシュリーを階段途中で待機させといて良かったわ!!」
Leon: “Whoa. that was close！ What the heck are you doing?!
Good thing I had Ashley wait halfway down the stairs!!”
岩飛ばし装置の近くにある赤いドラム缶を撃てば、装置もろとも爆発するので「セミオートライフル」で狙い撃ちましょう。
If you shoot the red explosive barrel near the boulder-launching device, the whole thing will blow up along with the mechanism, so take it out with the Semi-Auto Rifle.
…でも、なんでここに「爆発物」置いちゃったかな～💧？
…But seriously, why would they leave an explosive barrel sitting right next to it💧？
岩飛ばし装置で壊された建物跡から「スピネル」ゲット！
Leon picks up Spinel from the ruins of the building destroyed by the boulder-launching device！
ここはもう安全なので、アシュリーを呼びましょう。
The area is safe now, so it’s time to call Ashley over.
途中の左にある階段を降りると「大砲」があります！
If you head down the stairs on the left along the way, you’ll find a cannon！
どうやらこの大砲はまだ生きていて、上に上げると撃てるみたい…。
Apparently, it’s still operational, and it looks like it can be fired once it’s raised into position…
ここの樽からもアイテム回収を忘れずに‼
And don’t forget to loot the items from the barrels here, too!!
元の道に戻り、一番奥の階段を上がると、また火のついた岩が飛んでくるので、この大扉の前から向こう岸にあるドラム缶を狙撃！
Head back to the main path and climb the staircase at the far end.
More flaming boulders will come flying your way, so from in front of this large gate, snipe the explosive barrel on the other side of the gap！
橋を渡り始めると、今度は後ろから左右２台で岩攻撃されるので、宝箱のあるこの位置に待機。
As soon as Leon starts crossing the bridge, two boulder launchers behind himー one on each side－ begin attacking.
So have him stop here beside the treasure chest and wait it out.
もちろん、宝箱の中にある「金の腕輪」をゲット！
And of course, don’t forget to grab the Gold Bangle from inside the chest！
宝箱の所にアシュリーを残し、小屋から出てくる「鎌信徒」を倒します。
Leave Ashley by the treasure chest and take out the scythe-wielding cultist that comes out of the shack.
(この鎌信徒に岩攻撃が当たると一撃死なのでラッキー！ 同士討ち大歓迎💧)
(If one of the boulders happens to hit him, it’s an instant killー lucky！
Friendly fire is more than welcome💧)
その後に、左側の岩飛ばし装置の脇にあるドラム缶を撃ちましょう。
After that, shoot the explosive barrel next to the boulder-launching device on the left.
そして、レオンだけで右の櫓みたいな建物に行き、右の岩飛ばし装置を操っている信徒を狙撃しましょう。
Then have Leon head over to the watchtower-like structure on the right by himself and snipe the cultist operating the boulder launcher on the right.
これで一応、岩飛ばしからの脅威は無くなったのですが、のんびりしていると信徒の増援があります。
That takes care of the boulder-launching threat for now, but don’t relax just yetー if you take too long, more cultists will show up as reinforcements.
(戦闘曲は鳴り止んでないし、さっきから「ムエレ～、ムエレ～」と信徒たちからの空耳が聞こえます💧)
(The battle music still hasn’t stopped, and you can hear the cultists shouting in the distance💧)
ドーン！
BOOM！
大砲が上がり切ったら、増援に構わずサッサと撃っちゃいましょう♪
As soon as the cannon is fully raised, fire it right away and don’t worry about the reinforcements♪
…すると何故か戦闘曲が止み、信徒の声も聞こえなくなります💧
…for some reason, the battle music suddenly stops, and the cultists’ voices disappear as well💧
え？ 大砲の音にビビッて逃げた⁉
Wait…did they get scared by the sound of the cannon and run away？
破壊した扉の先に行くと…、
When Leon heads through the gate he just blasted open…
え～！ 武器商人、あの爆発でも大丈夫だったの～💦⁉
Wait, what?! Merchant…you survived that explosion just fine💦?!
取り敢えず、「ライオットガン」の威力を上げておきます。
For now, let’s upgrade the Riot Gun’s fire power.
普通に取引できるんで、あの爆発の影響は無かったようです。
Since he’s doing business as usual, it looks like that explosion didn’t affect him at all.
良かったな…武器商人💧
Good for you, Merchant…💧
城内に入る扉の前のかがり火に「スピネル」。
There’s a Spinel hidden in the brazier by the door leading into the castle.
やっぱり、「スピネル」って焼くものなの💧？
Are Spinels really meant to be roasted after all💧？
扉に入ると、ハニガンから久しぶりの連絡が。
As soon as we step through the door, Hunnigan contacts us for the first time in a while.
しかし、会話の途中で通信終了。
However, the transmission cuts off in the middle of the conversation.
さすが、城！ 電波悪いね😅 …って訳ではなさそう💧
As expected of a castle－ the reception is terrible😅.…Though that doesn’t seem to be the case💧
取り敢えず、階段を登る前に周辺を物色。
Before heading up the stairs, let’s take a look around the area.
壁から「白銀の宝剣」を取りました。
We pick up the Silver Sword hanging on the wall.
２階に上がると「ありえすた～」(空耳)と信徒が待ち構えていました。
On the second floor, the chanting cultists are waiting for us.
この位置でアシュリーの盾となり、信徒たちと戦いましょう！…１階から増援信徒もここで対処しましょう。
Take position here and act as Ashley’s shield while fighting off the cultists！
…Any reinforcements coming up from the first floor can be dealt with here as well.
………「でぼいやまた～る」(空耳)…ブツブツ
あれ？ 信徒を倒しても怪しい声がまだ聞こえます💧
Huh？ Even after taking out the cultists, we can still hear those suspicious voices💧
お前かいっ！
So, it was you！
１階で赤ローブ信徒が待機してました。動かないので「セミオートライフル」をお見舞いしちゃいましょう♪
A red-robed cultist was waiting down on the first floor.
Since he doesn’t move from that spot, let’s introduce him to the Semi-Auto Rifle.
この信徒はプラーガ第２形態に絶対になるので、そのまま「セミオートライフル」で倒しましょう。
This cultist will always transform into a Stage ２ Plaga, so keep using the Semi-Auto Rifle and take him down from a distance.
一撃必殺攻撃があるので、むやみに近付かないように！
It has a one-hit-kill attack, so don’t get careless and approach it recklessly！
赤ローブ信徒を倒すと4,500ペセタも貰えました♡
After taking down the red-robed cultist, we’re rewarded with a whopping 4,500 Pesetas♡
その後は２階にある「黄金の宝剣」を取り、さっきの「白銀の宝剣」をここにはめ、
Next, we take the Golden Sword from the second floor and place the Silver Sword we picked up earlier into its slot hare,
１階に戻り「黄金の宝剣」をはめると、
Then we head back down to the first floor and place the Golden Sword into its slot, and…
２階にある次のステージへの扉が開きました。
The door to the next area on the second floor opens.
また外に出ました。すると…、
We’re back outside again. And then…
おや、ハンサムなプーことルイスさん…久しぶり～✋ ご無事だったんですね！
Well, if it isn’t the handsome ‘pooh’ Luis！ Long time no see～👋 Glad to see you’re still alive！
はいっ！ 思いっきり寄生されてます‼
Yep！ We’re completely infected by a parasite now!!
ルイス「オレは薬を取りに戻る。」
Luis: “I’m going back to get the medicine.”
アシュリー「私もいっしょに行くわ。」
Ashley: “I’m going with you.”
その後のルイスのセリフ…日本語訳だと「奴の腕なら心配ない。」ですが英語だと…、
As for Luis’s next line…in the Japanese translation, he says, ‘With his skills, there’s nothing to worry about.’ But in the English version…
Lois: “He is better with the ladies, I’m sure. “…直訳すると「ヤツは女といる方が良いんだ、きっと。」
つまり、レオンのモテっぷり(ある意味女難の相)を分かっていて茶化してくるルイス…💧
In other words, Luis is teasing Leon because he already knows how popular he is with women…or perhaps how much trouble they bring him💧
レオンの素性を、この短い時間で見抜いたんですね…さすがです💦
He managed to figure out Leon’s nature in such a short time…impressive, as expected💦
ルイスが危険を冒してまで薬を取りに行くことに疑問を感じたレオン。
Leon finds it strange that Luis is willing to risk his life just to retrieve the medicine.
その返答はこのさり気ないセリフ。
Luis’s reply is a simple, understated one: ‘My conscience.’
そのまま、またルイスは姿を消してしまうのでした。
And just loke, Luis disappears once again.
３人で行く…っていう選択肢はなかったのかい💧？
Wasn’t there an option for all three of you to go together💧？
城の正門には鍵が掛かっていて進めないので、鍵が開いている他の扉に行くと…またボーっと突っ立っている信徒が待ち構えていました。
The castle’s main gate is locked, so we can’t go through it.
Instead, we head for another door that’s already unlocked…only to find yet another cultist standing around absentmindedly, waiting for us.
無防備なところを狙い撃つと…なんと発砲音で建物の中から、わんさか信徒が溢れ出てくるではありませんか！
We take aim and shoot him while he’s completely off guard…
And somehow, the gunshot causes a whole swarm of cultists to come pouring out of the building！
それをなんとか全員倒したら、そのまま直進せず右の道から建物に入りましょう。
After somehow managing to take them all out, don’t continue straight ahead.
Instead, enter the building via the path on the right.
すると、１人、建物に信徒が残っているのでハンドガンで膝を撃ち、片膝を付かせて…
Inside, you’ll find one cultist still lingering in the building.
Shoot him in the knee with your handgun, bring him down to one knee, and then…
ベリィ・トゥ・ベリィ！
Belly-to-Belly！
城に入ると、突然出せるプロレス技！…何故なんでしょう💧？ レオン…いつ習得した⁉
For some reason, Leon suddenly gains access to a wrestling move once he enters the castle！
…But why, exactly💧？
Leon…when did you learn that?!
それとも、エージェント訓練時代にとっくに習得していて、満を持してここで繰り出したのか？
Or maybe he actually learned it long ago during his agent training days and had been saving it for the perfect moment？
………💧
しかも、ベリィ・トゥ・ベリィをアシュリーの近くで繰り出すと、スカートの中を覗かれたと勘違いされて、アシュリーにメチャクチャ怒られるんですよね…😅
What’s even funnier is that if you pull off a Belly-to-Belly near Ashley, she assumes you were trying to peek under her skirt and gets absolutely furious with Leon😅
…レオン、アシュリーのためにこんなに頑張ってるのにね💧
…Even though Leon has been working this hard for Ashley’s sake💧
まさにここで…「泣けるぜ。」といった心境なのではないでしょうか？
At a moment like this, he must be thinking: ‘No good deed goes unpunished.’
エージェントって大変な仕事なんですね…。
Being an agent really is a tough job…
そして、建物の中の窓からボーガン信徒を狙撃。
Next, we snipe the crossbow-wielding cultists through the window from inside the building.
ここからだとボーガンを撃ってこないから楽です♪
From this position, they can’t fire their crossbow at us, making things much easier♪
ボーガン信徒を倒し、建物の外に出たすぐにアシュリーを待機させます。
After taking out the crossbow cultist, step outside the building and immediately tell Ashley to wait.
道を進み、門をくぐると隠れていた盾持ち信徒２人が襲ってきます。
Continue down the path and pass through the gate, and two shield-bearing cultists will jump out from hiding.
面倒なので手榴弾で片付けちゃいましょう♪
Rather than dealing with the hassle, let’s take care of them with a hand grenade♪
アシュリーを呼び、次の扉へ。
Call Ashley over and head for the next door.
建物の中は行き止まりで、「ショットガンの弾」や「グリーンハーブ」、一番奥には「正城門のカギ」がありました。
The building is a dead end, but you’ll find some shotgun shells, a Green Herb, and, at the very back, the Main Gate Key.
これを取ると、入り口から４・５人の信徒たちが雪崩込んでくるので、
As soon as you pick it up, four or five cultists come pouring in through the entrance, so…
すぐに入口付近の爆弾樽を撃ちます！
Immediately shoot the explosive barrel near the entrance！
ハンドガン１発で全滅させることが出来ました♪
One handgun shot is all it takes to wipe them all out♪
正門に戻り、カギを使って中へ。
We return to the main gate, use the key, and head inside.
これからどんな恐ろしいことが待っているのか…。
What kind of horrors await us beyond this point…
そして、レオンとアシュリーはこの城から…この異様なスペインの片田舎から無事脱出できるのか…？
And will Leon and Ashley manage to escape this castle…and this bizarre, remote corner of Spain unharmed？
