皆さん、こんにちは！ 久しぶりの「バイオ４攻略日記」…。
Hello, everyone！
It’s been a while since the last Resident Evil ４ walkthrough diary entry…
前回の続きから始めたいと思います。
So, let’s pick up where we left off last time.
「チェンソーさん率いる空耳軍団」たちからの攻撃が鐘の音と共に突如終わり、村の中心で呆然と佇むレオン。
With the ringing of the bell, the attacks from the ‘misheard-lyrics gang led by Dr. Chainsaw’ suddenly came to an end, leaving Leon standing frozen in the middle of the village.
村人たちの後を追いかけようと、教会らしき建物へ入ろうとしますが、施錠されていて入れません。
He tries to follow the villagers and enter what looks like a church, but the door is locked and he can’t get inside.
ハニガンに連絡を取り、村からの抜け道を教えてもらい、農道へ行くところからスタートです！
We start off with Leon contacting Hunnigan, getting directions for a way out of the village, and heading toward the farm path！
実は前回書き忘れたのですが…チェンソーさんを倒すと10,000ペセタが手に入ります。
I actually forget to mention this last time, but…if you defeat Dr. Chainsaw, you’ll get 10,000 pesetas.
武器の購入・改造のための資金源には大きな財源です。…絶対倒してゲットしましょう！
That’s a huge source of money for buying and upgrading weapons…so make sure to take him down and claim the reward！
農道に入りました。…今度は静かすぎて不気味です。
We’ve entered the farm path…Now it’s almost too quiet, which somehow makes it even creepier.
コッコがわんさかいるので、卵産み放題、取り放題♪(限度があります)
There are chickens everywhere here, so it’s basically all-you-can-lay, all-you-can-grab eggs♪ (Well up to a point.)
やはりレアなので、金色卵✨はなかなか出ませんね💧
Since they’re rare, golden eggs hardly every show up💧
レオン、今後の回復のことを考えて、懐に１羽隠し持っていこうよ～🐔
Leon, thinking about future healing items…maybe you should sneak one chicken into your jacket🐔
そして、ミッション(ミニゲーム)も用意されています！
And there’s even a side mission here！
「青コイン」は全部で15枚。ここの農道だけでは全部破壊できません。
There are 15 Blue Medallions in total, and you can’t destroy all of them in just this farm area alone.
木に貼られている青い紙を取れば、「青コイン」の場所がマップに表示されるので便利です。
If you pick up the blue notice posted on the tree, the locations of the Blue Medallions will be marked on your map, which is really helpful.
そして、初めてのお宝らしいお宝！
And here we have our first real treasure-worthy treasure！
「真珠のペンダント」が汚い古井戸の上にぶら下がっているじゃあないですか‼
A pearl Pendant is hanging right above a filthy old well!!
まずは井戸の中に落ちないように、ここを撃って蓋を閉めます。
First, shoot this part here to close the lid so the pendant won’t fall into the well.
そして、ペンダントを撃ち落とせばゲットできます。
Then just shoot down the pendant to claim your prize.
もし撃つ順番を逆にしたり、ペンダントを撃つ前に井戸の蓋を開けてしまうと、残念な結果に…💧
If you shoot them in the wrong order, or open the well cover before shooting down the pendant, things will end badly…💧
ペンダントは拾えることは拾えるんですが…通常の価格10,000ペセタだったものが10分の１の1,000ペセタまで価値が下がってしまいます。…大損です💦！
You can still pick up the pendant, but instead of being worth the normal 10,000 pesetas, its value drops to just 1,000－ only one-tenth of the original price…Talk about a huge loss💦！
しかもアイテム欄で確認すると…「真珠のペンダント」の横に(臭)の文字が！
And when you check it in your inventory…there’s even a little ” (Dirty)” label next to the Pearl Pendant！

相当、悪い環境の井戸なんですね💧
That well must be seriously disgusting💧
絶対アタッシュケースに入れたくありません！
I definitely wouldn’t want to put something like that inside my attache case！
ですから、絶対に井戸の中に落とさないように注意しましょう！
So, make absolutely sure you don’t let it fall into the well！
お宝ゲットのために発砲したため、農夫おじさんが襲ってきました。
After firing a shot to grab the treasure, the farmer came charging at us.
的確に頭か足を撃って、怯ませてからのレオンの蹴り！ 倒れているおじさんをナイフで処理…。
Carefully shoot him in the head or leg to stagger him, then follow up with one of kicks！
And once he’s down, finish him off with the knife…
これで弾節約‼…バイオ４の基本ですね♪
That’s how you save ammo!!…A basic Resident Evil ４ strategy♪
そして、この農道で手に入る高額お宝の場所。
And now for the location of a high-value treasure you can get in this farm area.
まずは、農夫おじさんたちを倒しつつ、一番大きな建物の梯子を登ります。
First, while taking care of the farmers, climb the ladder inside the largest building.
この窓から外の通路に出ます。
Then head out onto the outer walkway through this window.
そのまま真っすぐ行くと「飛び降りる」のコマンドが出るので、そこから下へ降ります。
Keep going straight, and you’ll get a ‘Jump Down’ prompt－ use it to drop down below.
そこにある箱を壊すと、「くぼみのあるステイン」をゲット！
Break the box there, and you’ll get the Beer stein！
このまま武器商人に売っても…まぁまぁな額にはなりますが、この空いてる穴にある宝石を3つ埋めるまでは売らない方が無難です。
You can sell it to the Merchant as-is for a decent amount of money…but it’s safer to hold onto it until you’ve set all three gemstones into the empty slots.
「バイオ4」ではお宝同士を組み合わせると、より高額になる…ある特定のアイテムがあります。
In Resident Evil ４, there are certain treasures that become far more valuable when combined with other treasure pieces.
これから、いろいろ出てくるので、出現次第紹介します。お見逃しなく！
We’ll be coming across plenty of them from here on out, so I’ll introduce them whenever they appear. Don’t miss them！
ここでの「青コイン」を全て破壊。
We destroyed all the Blue Medallions in this area.
場所はマップを見れば分かるので割愛。
You can find their locations on the map, so I’ll skip the details.
そして、この農道で見つけにくい木箱と樽はこちら！
梯子の下の小さなスペース。デッドスペースっていう場所ですね。
出てくるものはランダムなので人それぞれですが(1つは必ず「スピネル」) 、この場所は結構見落としがちなので、是非取りに行ってください。
そして、こちら(画面上では右側)の扉からしか行けないので進みます。
And since the only way forward is through this door (the one on the right side of the screen), we’ll continue on.
うっわ、坂道！…嫌な予感💧
Ugh！ A slope…I’ve got a bad feeling about this💧
お、おじさんたち！ …なに、頑張っちゃってんの？ やめてっ！ …まさか⁉
G-Guys！…Why are you all working so hard over there⁈ Stop that！…Wait, don’t tell meー?!
やっぱり、こっちに転がしてくんのね💦
Yep…they’re rolling it right at me💦
必死に走るレオンが可愛い💕
Leon desperately running for his life is kind of adorable💕
…からの～、急なQTE！
…and thenー bam！ Sudden QTE！
「L2 ＋R2」 か 「□＋✖」 の２択なんで楽勝♪
It’s just a simple choice between ‘L2 ＋R2’ or ‘□＋✖,’ so it’s easy♪
基本「バイオ４」のQTEはこの２択なんで、全然ストレスを感じません♪
Basically, Resident Evil ４’s QTEs are almost always just these two patterns, so they never really feel stressful.
まさに神ゲーとは、プレイヤーにストレスを掛け過ぎない仕様が鉄則ですね！
A true masterpiece of a game follows one golden rule: don’t overload the player with frustration！
そして、何度も繰り返し遊びたくなる面白さ…これがとても重要です。
And on top of that, it needs to be fun enough to make you want to play it over and over again…that’s what really matters.
途中のトンネルの天井に列をなしてる「スピネル」ゲット！
Grab the Spinels lined up along the tunnel ceiling on the way through！
狙って撃ち落とす…そんな射的みたいな楽しさが「バイオ４」の面白さでもあるんです♪
Carefully aiming and shooting them down…that little shooting-gallery-style fun is part of what makes Resident Evil４so enjoyable♪
…でも、「スピネル」って何💧？
…But what even is a ‘Spinel’？💧
(東南アジアや中央アジア・東アフリカなどの広範囲で採掘されている…実際にある宝石。８月の誕生石でもあるそうです。)
(It’s actually a real gemstone mined across wide regions such as Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and East Africa…and apparently, it’s also one of August’s birthstones.)
トンネルを抜けると…、あっ！いるいる‼ 手に何かを持ったおじさんが見張りのように立っています。
As soon as we come out of the tunnel…ah！ There he is!! An old villager is standing guard, holding something in his hand.
近付くと…その手のものを投げてきました。
When we get closer…he throws it at us.
ドカーンッ！
BOOM！
ダ、ダイナマイト⁉ 危うく爆風に巻き込まれるところでした💧
D-Dynamite?! We almost got caught in the blast💧
そんな危険なものを投げる人は成敗です！
Anyone throwing around something that dangerous deserves to be taken down！
おじさんが気が付かないところまで下がって、ハンドガンで狙い撃ちます。
Back up to a spot where the villager won’t notice you, then pick him off with the handgun.
それか、おじさんがレオンに気付いて、ダイナマイトに着火した時にそれを狙い撃てば一撃です！
Or, if he spots Leon and lights the dynamite, you can shoot it for an instant kill！
小屋前のおじさんを倒すと、また違う所からダイナマイトを投げる音が！
Once you take down the villager in front of the shack, you’ll hear the sound of dynamite being thrown from somewhere else！
そっちに行くには、罠だらけの小屋を通らなければいけません。
To get over there, though, you’ll have to pass through a snack filled with traps.
ダイナマイトの爆発範囲に気を付けながら、罠を解除。
Carefully avoiding the dynamite blast radius, we disarm the traps.
青年っぽい村人がダイナマイトを投げてます。
A younger-looking villager is the one throwing the dynamite.
青年の後ろのワイヤーを撃てば、簡単に倒せます。
If you shoot the tripwire behind the young villager, you can take him out easily.
…キミが危険な爆発物を持っているからいけないんだぞ💦
…Hey, it’s your own fault for carrying dangerous explosives around💦
そして、ここでお宝見落としポイント！
And here’s an easily missed treasure spot！
この木の上の鳥の巣を撃ち落とします。
Shoot down the bird’s nest in that tree.
すると中から変わったアイテムが。「ステインの宝石(赤)」をゲット！
Inside, we find a strange item: a Red Cat’s eye！
木の上の鳥の巣はこれからも何個かあります。
There are several more bird nests in trees like this coming up.
意外と見落としがちなので、見つけ次第紹介していきます。
They’re surprisingly easy to miss, so I’ll point them out whenever we find them.
そして、その近くにある木箱も見落としがちなので、しっかり確認しましょう。
And there’s also a wooden crate nearby that’s easy to overlook, so make sure to check it carefully.
小屋の中でダイナマイトを持ちながら、ワーワー言ってる３人のおじさんたち(ダイナマイトパーティー🎉？)を倒し、小屋の中のアイテムゲット。
Inside the shack, we take down three villagers running around shouting while holding dynamite (a dynamite party🎉？), and collect the items inside.
これで、やっと大きな家の周りは静かになりました。
Finally, the area around the big house has gone quiet.
デッカイ鍵をナイフで壊して家に侵入。
We break the large lock with a knife and break into the house.
そしたら、あるわ、あるわ…💧 ワイヤー爆弾の罠が！ 物騒なお宅拝見だね…💦
Then we find…oh boy, there’s a lot of them…💧
Tripwire bomb traps everywhere！
What a dangerously well-secured house…💦
家の奥から「ドン・ドン」と壁を叩くような音がずっと鳴り響いています。
From deep inside the house, there’s a constant thudding sound, like something is pounding against the walls.
この家具を横から押すと、奥の部屋に行けそうです。
If we push this piece of furniture from the side, it looks like we can get into the back room.
家具を押す仕草もまた可愛い💕
Even the way Leon pushes it is kind of cute💕
音の発信源はどうやらこのタンスの中のよう…。
The source of the sound seems to be inside this wardrobe…
「はい、どうも～！」ってな感じで、縛り上げられた典型的なスペイン顔の男が転がり出てきました。
‘Hey, there～！’
And out tumbles a man with the classic Spanish look, tied up and rolling onto the floor.
ルイス・セラ登場～✨
Luis Sera makes his entrance～✨
助けた早々に「タバコはないか？」と聞くあたり…ラテン系の人は距離を縮めてくるのが上手いですね♪
Right after being rescued, he immediately asks, ’Got any cigarettes？’…Latin people really are good at closing the distance quickly, aren’t they♪？
「ガムなら…」というレオンもなかなかじゃあないですか！
And Leon replying, ‘I’ve got gum…’ isn’t too bad either！
でも、この後２人仲良く、この村の村長さんに捕まってしまうのでした💧
But after this, the two of them end up getting caught by the village chief together💧
巨大すぎて画面に収まらない村長💧
A village chief so massive he doesn’t even fit on the screen💧
蹴りで抵抗してみたけど、あっさり受け止められ、ぶん投げられちゃうレオン。
Leon tries to resist with a kick, but it’s effortlessly caughtー and he gets thrown aside.
「…！ ふ、不覚‼」とでも言いたげに、気絶してしまうのでした…。
‘…D-Damn…!’
As if trying to say that, Leon loses consciousness…
チャプター1－１終了。
Chapter １-１ complete.
まだ操作がおぼつかないので、こんな命中率でお恥ずかしい。
I’m still not fully used to the controls yet, so please excuse this embarrassing accuracy rate.
最後に、取ったお宝を組み合わせてみたよ♪
Finally, I tried combining the treasure I picked up♪
穴の数は残り２つ。全部埋めたら、いくらで取引されるのか…楽しみですね♪
There are still two empty slots left.
I wonder how much it’ll be worth once all of them are filled…I’ll looking forward to finding out♪
そして(臭)じゃない、真珠のペンダント✨
And then there’s the Pearl Pendant✨－ not the ‘(Dirty)’ version.
10,000ペセタで買い取ってもらえます。
It can be sold for 10,000 pesetas.
「スピネル」は1粒1,000ペセタで取引してもらえます。
Spinels can be sold for １,000 pesetas each.
ゲーム中、至る所に落ちている宝石なので…ちりも積もれば…大金持ち！
They’re scattered all over the game, so…every little bit adds up…to a fortune！
