レオンとアルバートさんの江ノ島観光☆
Leon and Albert sightseeing in Enoshima☆
辺津宮を抜け、更なる江ノ島内部に進みます。
After passing Hetsunomiya shrine, they head further into the depths of Enoshima.
その途中にある池にゼニガメの群れが💦
A group of pond turtles gathered in a pond along the way 💦
「向こうから寄って来た～💦」
“Th-they’re coming toward us 💦”
「…ということは、餌付けされているな。」
“…Which means they’ve been fed by people.”
「…すまない。餌になる物…何も持っていないんだ…。」
“…Sorry.
We don’t have anything to feed you.”
「こういう時、無関係の我々は何も与えない方がいいのだ。」
“In situations like this, it’s better for people like usー who aren’t involved－ not to give them anything.”
「…確かに。」 (…意外と常識人なんだな💧)
“…True enough.”
(…He’s more sensible than I expected💧)
少し歩くと、またここから階段地獄💦
After walking a bit, it’s stairway hell again from here 💦
その近くにある「エスカー」乗り場に嫌でも目が行きます。
No matter what, his eyes are drawn to the nearby escalator entrance.
「…禁止です！」
“…Not allowed！”
「ベ…別に！ 乗りたいわけじゃあないんだからね
⁈」
“I-it does not like I want to ride it or anything !!”
「…はい、はい。階段で登りますよ～♪」
“Yeah, yeah. We’re taking the stairs～♪”
「…は～ぃ
」
“…Okaaay ”
階段の途中に、相模湾を見渡せる展望台があります。
Along the stairs, there’s an observation spot overlooking Sagami Bay.
「〈エスカー〉に乗ると、こういう所が見れないから、わざわざ階段で登ってもらってるんですよ～♪」
“If you take the escalator, you miss views like thisー so I’m making you climb the stairs on purpose～♪”
「な、なるほど…。」
“I-I see…”
2021年に開催されたオリンピックのセーリングの競技場になった「江ノ島ヨットハーバー」が一望できます。
They can get a panoramic view of Enoshima Yacht Harbor, which served as the sailing venue for the 2021 Olympics.
「海風が心地良い～♪」
“The sea breeze feels amazing～♪”
「階段で登った甲斐があるな！」
“Climbing the stairs was worth it！”
その近くにいた江ノ島ニャンコ
An Enoshima cat we spotted nearby
以前より、めっきり数が減ったのは気のせいでしょうか💦？
Or is it just me, or have their numbers noticeably decreased compared to before？💦
階段の手すりにスリリン♪ スリリン♫ して、観光客の格好の被写体になっていました💧
Rubbing itself against the stair railing, it was the perfect photo subject for tourists 💧
あまりにも可愛いかったので、レオンも１枚パシャリ
It was so cute that Leon snapped a souvenir photo
その後、また階段を登り…着いた先は、
After that, they climbed more stairs…and at the top, they arrived atー
中津宮。
Nakatsunomiya Shrine.
レオンとアルバートさんは、丁寧に手順通りにお参りしました。
Leon and Albert followed the proper steps and paid their respects carefully.
どうやら、女性に優しい神様のようですね💧
Apparently, this deity is said to be kind to women 💧
「美しい恋がしたい♪…か。良いですね～♡」
“‘I want to experience a beautiful love,’ huh…Sounds nice～♡”
「…恋か…♡」
“…Love, huh ♡”
「あれ？ 確かアルバートさんって、(ジェイクとかいう)お子さんいたんじゃあなかったっけ…？
…だったら、奥さんは…？」
“Huh？ Come to think of it, didn’t you have a kid named Jake or something. Albert？
…So then, what about your wife？”
「あ、あれは…なかったことにしてくれ～
！」
“Th-that…let’s just pretend that never happened！”
「…酷っ！ 」
“…That’s harsh！”
「だって、私はバイオ５で時が止まってるもん！ そんな人、知らない！ オレには子供なんていない‼」
” Because foe me, time stopped with Resident Evil ５！
I don’t know anyone like that！
I don’t have any Kids!!”
「…結構、酷いこと言っているけど…だ、大丈夫ですよ💦
ここは〈ラクーンシティホール〉…。
そんな考えもオールO.K.です♪
自分の好きなバイオの時代に止まっていても許される場所ですから！」
“…That’s actually pretty harsh…b-but it’s okay 💦
This is Raccoon City Hall…That kind of thinking is totally allowed here ♪
It’s a place where you’re free to stay in whatever era of Resident Evil you love！”
「懐古厨と呼ばれても、ここは初代キャラたちの楽園 PS1勢、万歳！」
“Call me a nostalgia freak if you wantー this is a paradise for the original Resident Evil characters
All hail the PS１era！”
中津宮を抜けると、お土産屋さんや飲食店が立ち並び、
After passing Nakatsunomiya Shrine, they’ll find rows of souvenir shops and restaurants lining the path,
その道中にまた展望台がありました。
There was another observation spot along the way.
今度は沖の方の海が見渡せます♪
This time, they can look out over the open sea♪
振り返ると、江ノ島シーキャンドル♪
Turning back, they can see the Enoshima See Candle♪

そして、また階段のアップダウンがあり、しばらく道なりに進むと…、
Then, after more ups and downs of stairs, and following the path for a while…
やっぱり、同じ神奈川…鎌倉が近いこともあって、源頼朝の影響力が強いですね。
As expected, since it’s all in Kanagawaー and with Kamakura so close－ Minamoto no Yoritomo’s influence is strong here.
そして、その門をくぐると…、
And as you pass through that gate…
奥津宮に到着しました♪
They arrived at Okutsunomiya Shrine♪
この門から、遠くに見える「奥津宮」へお参りしました♪
From this gate, they offered their prayers at Okutsunomiya Shrine, visible in the distance♪
両脇を飾る…弁財天様と龍の絵が素晴らしいですね！
The depictions of Benzaiten and the dragon adorning both sides of the gate are truly magnificent！
天井には説明通り、「八方睨みの亀」がドーンと描かれています！
As described, a bold painting of the ‘Eight-Directional Gazing Turtle’ stretches across the ceiling！
奥津宮の桜はすっかり葉桜になっていました
The cherry blossoms at Okutsunomiya Shrine had already turned into green leaves.
そして、奥津宮を過ぎると、更に江ノ島の裏側方面(沖の方)に進みます。
And after passing Okutsunomiya, they continue further toward the back side of Enoshimaー out toward the open sea.
すると、龍宮に到着♪
Then, they arrive at Ryugu Shrine♪
わだつみ…とは、海の神様のことです。
‘Wadatsumi’ refers to sea deity.
この江ノ島では、それは龍として崇められています。
Here on Enoshima, that deity is revered in the form of a dragon.
「今年は日本でいう…干支が辰年だから、ご利益もスゴイらしいですよ♪」
“This year is the Year of the Dragon in Japan, so apparently the blessings here are especially powerful♪”
「そう、実は〈龍神が祀ってある神社に行け！〉 とお告げがあったのだ。
だから、〈江ノ島〉を選んだのだ♪」
“Yes, actually, I received a message telling me, ‘Go to a shrine where a dragon deity is enshrined！
That’s why I chose Enoshima♪”
「…誰からのお告げ？」
“…A message？ From whom？”
「…💧 な、内緒なのだ！」
“…💧 I-it’s a secret！”

全ての宮を訪れて、次は楽しい昼食タイム♪
After visiting all the shrines, it’s time for a fun lunch♪
もうすぐ午後１時。
It’s almost １p.m.
２人のお腹もペコペコです…。
The two of them are getting really hungry…
江ノ島に行くと必ず訪れる「江之島亭」。
A place Leon always visits when he comes to Enoshima: Enoshima-tei.
ご存じ「男はつらいよ」の撮影現場になったことで有名なお店です。(第29作「寅次郎あじさいの恋」。)
It’s a famous restaurant known for being a filming location for the movie Tora-san (Episode 29: Tora-san’s Love in Hydrangea).
しかし、今日は平日なのに混み混みで、１時間以上も待たないといけない💦。
However, even though it’s extremely crowded, and they’d have to wait over an hour 💦
…なので、もう１つの候補、
…So instead, their other option isー
「魚見亭」に初入店♪
First visit to Uomi-tei♪
それでも、こちらでも30分以上待ちました💧
Even so, they still had to wait over 30 minutes here as well 💧
こちらの「魚見亭」。
漫画「孤独のグルメ」単行本第１巻の第９話で紹介されたお店なのです。(ドラマじゃなくて原作の方。)
This Uomi-tei restaurant was featured in Chapter ９ of Volume １of the manga The Solitary Gourmet.
(Not the drama version, but the original manga.)
お客さんみんなが、この絶景のためにテラス席を希望するんですよね♪
All the customer’s request terrace seats for this amazing view, of course♪
もちろん、２人も「せっかく来たんだから」とテラス席希望！
Naturally, the two of them also wanted terrace seats, thinking, ‘We came all this way, after all！
…だから、30分以上も待たされちゃったんですけど💧
…Which is why they ended up waiting over 30 minutes💧
待ちに待って、やっとテラス席へと通された２人。
After a long wait, the two were finally shown to a terrace seat.
下には、江ノ島岩屋へ向かう観光客の姿が！
Below them, they can see tourists heading toward the Enoshima Iwaya Caves！
赤色が目立つ「岩屋橋」を渡っているのが見えます。
They’re crossing the red-colored Iwaya Bridge, which stands out vividly.
メニュー♪
Menu♪
それにしても、上空にはトンビが多い！
Still, there are a lot of black kites circling overhead！
いつでもどこでも、観光客の食べ物を狙っています💧
They’re always on the lookout for tourists’ food, no matter where they are💧
このことは、島の各所に注意喚起されています。
Warnings about this are posted all over the island.
そして、有名な「烏帽子岩」もこのテラス席から一望できます♪
And from this terrace seat, you can also get a full view of the famous Eboshi Rock♪
サザンの歌詞がどこかから聞こえてきそうですね。
It almost feels like you can hear lyrics from Southern All Stars somewhere in the distance.
そして、初「魚見亭」で２人が選んだメニューはこちら！
And here are the dishes the two chose on their first visit to Uomi-tei.
まずはアルバートさんから‼
First, starting with Albert!!
「しらす丼と蟹汁のセット～♪
相模湾名物といえば、やっぱりこれでしょう♫」
“A set of whitebait rice bowl and crab soup～♪
When it comes to Sagami Bay, this is the classic choice♫”
続いて、レオンは？
And next, what did Leon chose？
「その名の通りの…江ノ島丼と蟹汁のセット～♪
江ノ島丼とは、サザエを卵でとじたもの！ もちろん、〈江ノ島名物〉で～す♪」
“Just as the name suggests…the Enoshima Bowl with crab soup♪
The Enoshima Bowl is made with turban shell bound with egg！
Of course, it’s an Enoshima specialty♪”
＆「では、早速…いっただっきま～す♪」
“Alright then, let’s dig in♪”
＆「美味～っ」
“Delicious“
２人が選んだメニューは大正解だったようです。
It looks like the two made the perfect choice with their meals.
しばらく、無言で料理に夢中になっている２人。
After a while, the two become completely absorbed in their meal, eating in silence.
「…アルバートさん、〈栄冠ナイン〉の監督、お疲れさまでした♪
相当な気苦労も多かったとか？」
“…Albert, good job as the coach of Eikan Nine♪
I heard it came with quite a lot of pressure？”
「…いやいや、それは最初の練習機材が全くない時だけだよ。
あとは、選手たちが私についてきてくれたから…、楽勝だったとは言わないけどね…。
その次に大変だと思ったのは、イチロー…つまりキミが入部してきた時かな？」
“…No, no, that was only at the very beginning when we had no training equipment at all.
After that, the players followed me, so I wouldn’t say it was easy, but…
The next toughest time was when Ichiro…in over words, you, joined the team.
「え？ それってどういう…。」
“Huh？ What do you mean by that…？”
「下手な育て方が出来ないと思ってね…プレッシャーがすごかったよ。
あと、どんな試合にも負けちゃあいけないとかね…。」
“I felt like I couldn’t afford to train you poorly…the pressure was intense.
And there was this sense that we couldn’t lose any matches, no matter what…
「…は、はぁ…💧」
“…I-I see💧”
(…って、「オレ」というキャラになったのは卒業後だから、あまり詳しくは知らないんだけど…。)
(…But I only became this ‘me’ character after graduation, so I don’t really know much about it…)
「…にしては、結構、公式戦負けてるんだよな～💦」
“…Even so, we actually lost quite a few official games💦”
「…ハハハ💦」
“…Hahaha💦”
「栄冠ナイン」の思い出を語りながら、昼食を楽しんだ２人。
While reminiscing about their Eikan Nine memories, the two enjoyed their lunch.
最初はお互いに(年の差もあり、善と悪のキャラの違いもあり💧)ちょっとの遠慮があったけど、これで打ち解けたみたい♪
At first, there was a bit of hesitation between themー partly due to the age gap and their opposing roles of good and evil💧ー but it seems they’re finally warmed up to each other♪
案外、この組み合わせも合ってるかもね？
Surprisingly, this pairing might work pretty well, huh？
そして、打ち解けた証の記念写真
And to mark the moment they bonded, a commemorative photo
２人の笑顔が眩しいですね♪ (なぜか赤目のアルバートさん💧)
Their smiles are dazzling♪ (For some reason, Albert’s eyes are red💧)
このあと、一旦、島中央まで戻り、江ノ島のシンボル「シーキャンドル」に向かいます。
After this, they head back toward the center of the island and make their way to Enoshima’s symbol, the Sea Cangle.
