ただ今、エージェントの余裕のお遊び…金の卵お手玉をしながら挨拶しております。
Right now, this agent is casually showing off his skills while juggling a Golden Egg and saying hello.
ここまでなんとか生き残っている…レオンです♪
Somehow, I’ve managed to survive this far…I’m Leon♪
前回は久々に村人たちと再会し、漫才巨人コンビ「エル・ヒガンテ」を倒し、透明虫ノビスタドールの巣を無事通過したレオン。
Last time, Leon reunited with the villagers for the first time in a while, took down the comedy duo known as El Gigante, and safely made his way through the nest of invisible Novistadors.
石でできた即４罠を潜り抜け、エレベーター付きのお墓に乗り、大きな塔の入り口まで戻ってきました。
After dodging a series of stone instant-death traps, he rode the elevator-equipped tomb and made his way back to the entrance of the huge tower.
では、今週も「トレジャーハンターレオン」(バイオ４攻略日記)…スタートで～す！
And now, it’s time for another episode of Treasure Hunter Leon (Resident Evil ４ Walkthrough Dairy). Let’s get started！
エレベーター付きお墓を降りると、早速武器商人のジトっとした眼差しが💦
After getting off the elevator-equipped tomb, Leon is immediately greeted by the Merchant’s intense, creepy stare💦
…と、その前に…建物の柱に貼り付けてある手紙が気になります。
…But before that, there’s a letter posted on one of the building’s pillars that catches my attention.
Letter from Ada.
“The Plaga egg can be removed with medication before it hatches, but once it starts developing, you can do.
If it can be surgically removed before it matures, you might survive, but I’d say the chances of success are pretty low.
I think she’ll probably be the first one to succumb, but if there’s nothing you can do about it, you’d better be prepared for what comes next.”
以前よりももっと絶望的なことを言うなよ～💧
Come on, Ada！ You’re making it sound even more hopeless than before💧
前に会った時より時間が経っているんだからさ～💦 焦らすなよ～💧
More time has passed since the last time we met, you know💦
Don’t keep me hanging like this💧
そんなことをキッパリ言うエイダ、ドSだな～💧
Ada being so blunt about it…She’s such a sadist💧
ちょっとヘコみつつ…武器商人との楽しい取引タイム♪
Leon is feeling a little down, but it’s time for some fun shopping with the Merchant♪
お宝売却で「サラザール家の王冠」はなんと48,000ペセタ！
When you sell the treasure, the Salazar Family Crown fetches a whopping 48,000 pesetas！
頑張って右腕くん(ヴェルデューゴ)を倒した甲斐があります♪
All that hard work defeating the Right Hand (Verdugo) was totally worth it♪
今までの繰越金とお宝のお陰で武器の改造もスムーズ！
Thanks to all the money I’d saved up and the treasures I’ve sold, upgrading my weapons is going pretty smoothly！
…と思ったら、マグナム改造までお金が回りませんでした💧
…Or so I thought. Turns out I didn’t have enough left over for the Magnum upgrades💧
あんなにお金を繰り越していたのに…全然、足りない。
Even after carrying over that much money…I still didn’t have nearly enough.
そして、↑これが現在のアタッシュケース内の様子。
And here’s what my attaché case looks like right now.

お金が貯まった頃に、また会おう！
I’ll come back when I’ve saved up some more money！
武器商人に別れを告げると、目の前に大きな塔が見えてきました。
As Leon says goodbye to the Merchant, a huge tower comes into view.
奥の広場には複数の人影が見えます。
There are several figures gathered in the plaza ahead.
どうやら、この場を見張っている…村人たちのようです。
Looks like they’re villagers standing guard over the area.
近くの木にある鳥の巣から「スピネル」。
A spinel from a bird’s nest in a nearby tree.
その発砲音で、2人の村人がこちらに気付き、襲ってきました💦
The gunshot alerted two villagers, and they came rushing at me💦
先に、この2人を倒して、安全になってから「スピネル」を取れば良かったかも？
Maybe I should’ve taken them out first and grabbed the Spinel one it was safe？
その村人たちがいた周辺にお金や「スピネル」が無造作に落ちていました。
There were money and a Spinel just lying around where those villagers had been.
遠慮せず、頂きま～す♪
Well, I’m not gonna pass up free loot mine♪
もっと奥の広場に村人たちが無言でキャンプファイヤーをしています！
Farther ahead in the plaza, some villagers are silently sitting around a campfire！
あら、あら、それは楽しそうですね～♪
Oh, oh…that looks like such a fun time～♪
「オレも混ぜて～♪」…とレオン、おもむろに「手榴弾」を装備💧
Leon: “Mind if I join you guys♪？”
…And with that, Leon casually equips a grenade💧
サプライズプレゼントだから、みんなに気付かれないように…そ～っと高台に登って…、
It’s a surprise present, so he carefully climbs up to the high ground without letting anyone notice…
ドーン！ BOOM!
１発で全員キレイに仕留めることが出来ました♪
I managed to take them all out in one shot♪
これが、なかなか難しい💦！
It’s actually pretty tricky to pull off💦
投げる位置の調整がちょっとでも狂うと、一気に全員倒すことが出来ません。
If you’re even slightly off with the throwing position, you won’t be able to take everyone out in one go.

周辺にある樽からペセタ、井戸の中から「ヴェルベット・ブルー」を拾い、小屋の中へ。
After picking up some pesetas from the barrels around the area and a Velvet Blue from inside the well, I head into the shack.
小屋の中にあるクランクを回すと、
After turning the crank inside the shack,
地下に続く梯子が現れました。
A ladder leading underground appears.
導かれるままに、恐れず地下へGO！
Following the path ahead, I head underground without a hint of fearー let’s go！
“Up ahead, the seal that keeps the sacrifice to the lion imprisoned.”
地上にあった…次ステージに進むための扉の仕掛けのことを言っているようですが、今はなんのことだか分かりません。
It seems to be referring to the door mechanism we saw above ground－ the one we need to unlock to proceed to the next stage－ but for now, I have no idea what it’s talking about.
細い道を通り(道の途中に木箱アリ)、より広い地下空間に出ました。
I make my way along the narrow passageway (there’s a wooden crate along the way) and eventually reach a larger underground area.
村人が数人…見張りで立っているのが見えます。
I can see several villagers standing guard.
近くの村人から順番にライフルで狙撃。
Starting with the nearest villagers, I pick them off one by one with my rifle.
すると、理解不能な叫び声とチェンソーの良からぬ唸り音が💦
Then I hear some incomprehensible screaming and the ominous growl of a chainsaw💦
まだ、チェンソー男…いたんだね～💧
Wait…there was still a Chainsaw Man down here💧?!
…と思ったら、チェンさんは高台にいて、こっちに降りてくる気配がありません💧
…But then _I realize Mr. Chainsaw is up on the high ground and doesn’t seem to be coming down after me💧
なんだ～、じゃあ今は放っておこう。
Oh, well…in that case, I’ll just leave him along for now.
ヴィ～ン、ヴィ～ンとチェンソー音が響く中、お気楽にその周辺を探索。
With the sound of the chainsaw going Vrrrrn, vrrrrn in the background, I casually explore the area.
さらに下に行ける階段を降りてみると…
Then, I head down the stairs that lead even farther underground…
「あがられろ！」 (空耳…かも？)
“¡Agārrale！”
“Get him！ Grab him！”
…と、すぐに頭から触手を出す村人が１人待機していたので、ライフルで楽にしてあげました。
…And sure enough, there was a villager waiting nearby with tentacles bursting out of his head, so I put him out of his misery with my rifle.
その村人が守っていたのか、近くの棺から高額そうな「至高のロッド」GET。
Maybe that villager was guarding it, because I found a seemingly valuable treasure, the ‘Staff of Royalty,’ inside a nearby coffin！
さっきの階に戻り、罠を解除しながら奥に進みます。
I head back to the previous level and make my way deeper, disarming the traps along the way.
周辺の村人を倒し…、さぁ、やっとキミの相手をしてあげるよ…チェンさん♪
After taking out the surrounding villagers, I finally turn my attention to you…Chainsaw Man♪
その場で…下からライフルで攻撃。
From where I’m standing, I attack him from below with my rifle.
何度も何度も撃たれては立ち上がり💧…チェンさんは律儀に定位置で暴れています。
Shot after shot, he keeps getting back up💧
The Chainsaw Man dutifully keeps going berserk in the same spot.
…それにしても、カタい💦
…Man, he’s tough！
ライフル７発でやっと倒すことが出来ました。
It took seven rifle shots to finally take him down.
よいしょっと！
Up we go！
戦闘曲が鳴りやんだので、梯子からチェンさんのいた場所へ。
The battle music has stopped, so I climb the ladder and head over to where Chainsaw Man was.
登り切った途端にまたもや不気味な戦闘曲が流れ出しました。
The moment I reach the top, that creepy battle music starts playing again.
村人がHere comes new challengers.してきたようです💧
Looks like the villagers have decided to go, ‘Here comes a new challenger！’💧
その間にその周辺にあったアイテムとペセタをGET。
While they’re at it, I grab the items and pesetas scattered around the area.
次に進むための「封印のカギ」も拾いました。
I also picked up the ’Key to the Seal,’ which I’ll need to proceed.
てぃっ
！ Take that！
村人たちは、レオンがいる高台に容赦なく梯子をかけてくるので、こちらも容赦なく梯子を倒します！
The villagers show no mercy as they keep setting up ladders to reach Leon’s high ground, so I show them no mercy either and kick those ladders right back down！
そのまま登らせて、村人を撃ち落として遊ぶのも良し、
You can also let them climb up and have some fun shooting them back down,
いっぱい登ってきた村人たちを焼いても良し、
Or you can let a whole bunch of villagers climb up and burn them all,
レオン自ら、穴から飛び出して、村人たちをビックリさせて遊んでも良いです♪
Or Leon can jump out of the hole himself and give the villagers a good scare♪
村人と遊び尽くした後、高台の１階部分の扉を開けると、
After having my fun with the villagers, I open the door on the ground floor of the high platform, and…
先ほどとは違うチェンさんがボーっと突っ立っていました💧
There was another Chainsaw Man standing there, just staring blankly at me💧
どうやら、上から階段で降りてきたレオンをもう１体のチェンさんと挟み撃ちにするつもりだったみたいです…。
Looks like he was planning to sandwich Leon between himself and the other Chainsaw Man after Leon came down the stairs from above…
だけど、いつまで経っても来ないので、↑こんな状態のようです。
But since Leon never came down, he’s apparently been stuck waiting like this.
まだかな～？ まだかな～⁉(ワクワク
)と心の中で唱えているのかも…。
Maybe he’s thinking to himself, ‘Is he coming yet？ Is he coming?!’ (So excited)
もう誰もいないのですが…💧
Even though there’s nobody left…💧
チーン
…ご愁傷さまでした。
Ding…My condolences.
やっぱりチェンさん＝10,000ペセタ…ということですね💧
Yep, looks like Chainsaw Guy ＝ 10,000 pesetas after all…💧
カギを使い、次のドアへ。
Use the key to open the next door.
また細い道を抜けると、
After making our way through another narrow passage,
あ…！ 以前、何処かで見たような罠が‼
Ah！ There’s a trap here that looks familiar!!
な～んだ、また前みたいに先に撃っておけばいいじゃん♪…なんて思ったら大間違い💦
‘Oh, I get it！ Just like before, all I have to do is shoot the switch before going through♪’…or so I thought. Big mistake💦
今度は事前に撃っても無反応！…サラザールくん(か村人)、さすがに学習したんだね💧
This time, shooting it beforehand does nothing！…Looks like Salazar (or one of the villagers) finally learned from his mistakes💧
仕方なく渋々…部屋に入ると、やっぱり罠が発動！
Reluctantly, I step into the room, and sure enough, the trap is triggered！
トゲのついた天井がゆっくり迫ってきます。
A spiked ceiling slowly starts descending toward me.
しかも下からプラーガ成虫が２匹湧いてきます💦
And to make matters worse, two adult Plagas suddenly emerge from below💦
これは想定外
I didn’t see that coming
天井にある４カ所の解除装置を破壊しつつ、プラーガ成虫を相手にする…本当に忙しい💦
Destroying the four mechanisms on the ceiling while dealing with the adult Plagas at the same time…Talk about hectic💦
ちょっと、プラーガ成虫に噛みつかれちゃったけど…、なんとか罠を止めることが出来ました。
I got bitten by an adult Plaga, but somehow, I managed to stop the trap.
お！…こんなところに、また棺が!!
Oh！ There’s another coffin here!!
わぁ～、キレイに並んだペセタ入り宝箱～♪
Wow～！ A row of treasure chests filled with pesetas～♪
…誰がどんな趣味で並べたのか知りませんが、ありがたく頂きます💧
…I have no idea who arranged them like this or what kind of taste they have, but I’ll gladly take them💧
１箱2,000ペセタ前後×3、貰えました
I got around 2,000 pesetas from each chest × ３
そこから出ると、天井のそこかしこから砂がこぼれている広間に出ました。
When I leave the room, I find myself in a large chamber with sand trickling down from various spots in the ceiling.
その２カ所の流砂の中から「スピネル」。
Inside the two patches of quicksand, I find some Spinels.
何処かから流砂に乗って、ここに流れてくるようです。
Looks like they somehow ride the shifting sand and end up here.
ここにずっといれば、「スピネル」王になれんじゃね？(強欲)
If I stayed here long enough, I could become the Spinel King, right？ (Greedy)
…なんて思ったけど、そんな悠長な時間はレオンにはありません。
…Well, as tempting as that sounds, Leon doesn’t have that kind of time to waste.
迷わず、次に進みましょう。
Let’s move on without hesitation.
うっわ～💧 古びたトロッコ…。これに乗らないといけないみたい。
Ughhh～💧 An old minecart…Looks like I have to ride this things.
レオン以外、誰もいないので切り替えスイッチをハンドガンで撃って、トロッコ…スタート！
No one else is around, so I shoot the switch with my handgun, and the minecart…starts moving！
…って、それで普通、簡単に切り替わる～💦？
…Wait, is it really that easy to switch the tracks just by shooting it💦?!
…でも、心配ご無用！ しっかり、トロッコは動きます‼
…But no need to worry！ The minecart works just fine!!
一番、うしろの車両に乗るのがトロッコ通！
A real minecart pro knows to ride in the very last cart！
………！
前方の高台から、村人たちがトロッコに飛び込もうとしてきます💦
Villagers on the platform ahead start trying to jump into the minecart💦
え～、お客様～！ 駆け込み乗車はおやめくださ～い‼
‘Hey, folks！ No jumping onto a moving train, please!!’
レオンが駅員さんのように注意しても、果敢に乗り込もうとしてくる村人たち💧
Even with Leon warning them like a station attendant, the villagers keep fearlessly trying to jump aboard💧
中にはフライングしてる村人も！
Some of them are even jumping the gun！
ほ～ら、言わんこっちゃない💧
See？ I told you this would happen💧
トロッコに轢かれるお客様(村人)も…。
Some customers (villagers) even get run over by the minecart…
危険な駆け込み乗車は許してはいけません！
We can’t allow anyone to make a dangerous last-second dash onto the minecart！
そんなお客様はハンドガンで成敗してあげました。
So I dealt with those customers using my handgun.
前の車両に落ちたアイテムでも、ちゃんと取りに行きましょうね♪
Even if an item falls onto the cart ahead, make sure you go back and pick it up♪
………！
突然前方に、行く手を阻む木の棒が！
Suddenly, a wooden beam appears ahead, blocking our path！
レオン「ふんっ！」
Leon: “Hmph！”
いきなりのQTEに、いきなりのレオンのお尻のドアップ！
A sudden QTE, and suddenly we get a close-up of Leon’s butt！
さっきの木の棒のせいでしゃがんだので…こんなサービスショット(？)が撮れました♪
He had to crouch because of that wooden beam earlier, so I managed to get this little bonus shot♪
木の棒は、事前に撃ち落としても大丈夫…というより、その方が本当は良いでしょう。
It’s perfectly fine to shoot down the wooden beams beforehand…actually, that’s probably the better thing to do.
そのまま身体に当たると結構なダメージになっちゃいます。
If one hits you directly, it can do quite a bit damage.
途中で停留所に止まるトロッコ。
The minecart stops at a station along the way.
どうやら、↑左にいる村人が強制停止した模様。
Apparently, the villager on the left forced us to stop.
すると、上からバラバラと村人たちが乗車してくるじゃあありませんか💦
And then, before we know it, villagers start climbing aboard from above, one after another💦
まさかのチェンさんまで！…まだ、居たんだ～💦
Even Mr. Chainsaw shows up?!…You’re still here💦?!
ここはショットガン装備に切り替えたいけど、左の村人(トロッコの操作レバー前にいる)に弾が当たってしまうと、トロッコが発車してしまい、ここのアイテムが取れなくなるので、攻撃範囲が狭いマシンピストルに持ち替え、対処。
I’d really like to switch to the shotgun here, but if I accidentally hit the villager on the left (the one standing in front of the lever that operates the minecart), the minecart will launch, and I won’t be able to collect the items here.
So I switched to the Machine Pistol, which has a narrower spread, and dealt with them that way.
アイテムやペセタが消える前に、車両を前後しつつ、村人たちと戦います。
Before the items and pesetas disappear, I fight the villagers while moving the minecart back and forth.
狭いトロッコは魑魅魍魎の地獄絵図💦
The cramped minecart turns into an absolute hellscape crawling with all kinds of monsters💦
こうなったら、惜しまず閃光手榴弾を使っても良いです。
When things get this crazy, don’t hesitate to use your flash grenades.
あらかた村人を片付けて、周辺のアイテムを取ったら、出発の合図かのように↑この村人を狙撃💧
Once I’ve taken out most of the villagers and collected the items around us, I snipe this villager as if to signal that it’s time to leave💧
また、何回か駆け込み乗車をしてくる村人たちを成敗。
I take out a few more villagers who come rushing aboard at the last second.
その中にはLast of チェーンソー男も乗り込んできます！
And among them is the Last of the Chainsaw Men, too！
これで最後のチェンさん…名残惜しみながら、手厚く葬ってあげました。
This is the last of Mr. Chainsaw…With a heavy heart, I gave him a proper send-off.
また、木の棒が邪魔してきたりしたけど、難なくかわせました♪
Another wooden beam tried to get in our way, but I dodged it without any trouble♪
レオン1人になると、結構楽しいアトラクション♪
Once it’s just Leon, it actually becomes a pretty fun attraction♪
トロッコアドベンチャー！…クイズは出ないけどね💧
Minecart Adventure！…Though, there’s no quiz this time💧
最後の最後に3人…村人が乗って来たけど、急な坂道でトロッコが加速し過ぎて、村人に弾が当たりません。
Three more villagers climb aboard right at the very end…but the minecart picks up so much speed going down the steep slope that my shots can’t hit them.
村人の方もこんな状態なのに、凶器の鎌を果敢に投げてきます。
Even in this situation, the villagers bravely keep throwing their deadly sickles at me.
…お互い、どう頑張っても当たんないんだけどね💧
…Though no matter how hard we try, neither side can hit the other💧
するとまた、突然のQTE！
Then, another sudden QTE！
レオン「ふんぬ～！」
Leon: “Nnngh！”
乗っていたトロッコが谷底へ💦！
The minecart we were riding in goes plunging into the ravine💦！
レオンは人間離れした跳躍力でトロッコから飛び出し、
Leon leaps out of the minecart with superhuman jumping ability,
片手で板をつかみ、よじ登るための□連打！が発動💦‼
Leon grabs onto the ledge with one hand, and the □ button-mashing sequence to climb up kicks in💦!!
なんとか、谷底に落ちずに済みました。
Somehow, I managed to keep Leon from falling all the way to the bottom of the ravine.
ふぅ～、危なかった～の一言もなく、レオンはしれっと次に向かいます。
Without so much as a “Phew, that was close！”, Leon casually moves on to the next area if nothing happened.
この辺から、レオンの超人能力が開花してきた気がします。
I feel like Leon’s superhuman abilities really start to blossom around this point.
扉を出ると、中央に大事そうに飾られた「生け贄のモニュメント」をGET。
When I step through the door, I find the “Sacrificial Monument” proudly displayed in the centerー and snag it！
何故かこの部屋の隅に落ちてる頭蓋骨から、100～500ペセタの箱が連打12回分出ます。
For some reason, the skill lying in the corner of this room spits out twelve boxes containing 100ー500 pesetas each when you keep hitting it.
まるで「スーパーマリオ」のコインブロックみたいです。
It’s just like a Super Mario coin block.
少額でも嬉しい♪
Even small amounts are always welcome♪
…でも、まとめると6,000ペセタくらい。１回でくれても良いんだけど💧？
…But altogether, it adds up to about 6,000 pesetas.
You could’ve just given me the whole amount at once, you know💧
部屋の奥の通路に梯子。
There are a passageway and a ladder at the back of the room.
それを登ると、村人たちがキャンプファイヤーをしていた場所まで戻ってきました。
Climbing up the ladder brings us back to the spot where the villagers were having a campfire.
この扉のライオンの口に、苦労して取ってきた「生け贄のモニュメント」をはめると、
When I place the hard-earned “Sacrificial Monument” into the lion’s mouth on this door,
上からエレベーターが降りてきました。
An elevator came down from above.
レオン「上に参りま～す♪」
Leon: “Going up～♪”
チャプター4ー3終了。
Chapter ４-３ complete.
