皆さん、１か月ぶり～♪
Hello, everyone! It’s been a month～♪
またメトロシティで戯れている…レオンです♡
It’s Leon, back to messing around in Metro City♡
いやぁ～、何度来ても面白い発見があるね…この街は～♪
Man, this city never stops surprising me, no matter how many times I visit～♪
晴天のメトロシティの海浜(？)公園で、気持ち良～く♪ ダルシム師匠仕込みの座禅を組んで瞑想していたら…、ワンコ２匹に囲まれていました💧
I was enjoying a nice, peaceful meditation session in the sunny seaside (?) park in Metro City, sitting in the Zen pose I’d learned from Master Dhalsim…
…when I suddenly found myself surrounded by two doggies. 💧
今日も何か楽しいことがありそうだなぁ～♪
Looks like something fun is going to happen today, too～♪
犬「わぅ～
！」(…はぁ？ 変な人間の変な行いに興味を持って見ていただけですけど？)
Dog: “Woof～! [Grumble]!” (…Huh? [Grumble] We were just curious about this strange human doing something strange, that’s all!)
と、取り敢えず💦、今回、オレがメトロシティに来た目的は…、やはり、新師匠が現れたという情報が入ったからさ！
A-anyway! 💦 The reason I came to Metro City this time is, as expected, because I’d heard that a new master had appeared!
いつもの通り、まずは情報収集から‼
Just like always, first things first: gather some information‼
新師匠の情報は、前回の豪鬼師匠の時に平行していた…ミッション「サイコパワーの実験体」と繋がっています。
The information about the new master is connected to a mission that was running alongside my previous adventure with Master Akuma: “Psycho Power Experiment Subject.”
その内容は、ネオ・シャドルーの実態を調査していた「リー」という青年が、(ボシュと同様に)サイコパワーの実験体にされてしまい、その青年をネオ・シャドルーから助けるというもの。
Here’s what happened: a young man named Lee, who had been investigating the activities of Neo Shadaloo, was turned into a Psycho Power experiment subject, just like Bosch.
My mission was to rescue him from Neo Shadaloo.
見事、ミッションは成功し、「リー」を無事に助けることが出来ました♪
And I successfully completed the mission, rescuing Lee safe and sound♪
↑これが助けた青年「リー」。結構イケメン♪
↑ This is Lee, the young man I rescued. Pretty handsome, isn’t he?♪
ミッションクリア後、夜にクロウズ・ネスト（カラス団の拠点裏側）で、助け出した実験体「リー」と会話。
After completing the mission, I met up with Lee, the rescued experiment subject, at night behind Crow’s Nest (the hideout of the Crows).
依頼人「フー」という人物がオレに興味を持ったらしく、中華街の門まで来てくれと言伝されました。
Apparently, someone named Foo, the person who’d requested the mission, had taken an interest in me.
I was told to come to the gate in Chinatown.
早速、中華街の門へ行ってみると、ミッション「奔走するデコイ」がスタート！
So I headed straight there, and the mission “A Running Decoy” began!
直接会うのかと思ったら、長～いメールでのやりとりだけ💧
I thought I’d finally get to meet someone in person, but all I got was a loooong exchange of emails. 💧
変なバックパックを背負ってるヤツをおびき出せ…だと？
“Lure out the guy carrying a weird backpack”…?
…怪しい依頼だが、今は従うしか先に進めない。
…Sounds like a suspicious request, but I guess I’ll have to play along if I want to get anywhere.
じゃあ、言われた通りに…、
All right, just as instructed…
まずは、「マスターズ財団ビル」辺りの好戦的な一般人をボコッとくか！
First, let’s go beat up some aggressive ordinary citizens around the Masters Foundation Building!
…すると、またメールが！
…And then, another email arrived!
次は「アーバンパーク」へ…か💧
Next stop: Urban Park… huh? 💧
言われた通りに「アーバンパーク」で大暴れ
I did as I was told and went on a rampage in Urban Park!
それでも警察は無関心な街…メトロシティ💧…ラクーンシティとは大違いだな。
And yet, the police don’t seem to care at all in this city… Metro City. 💧
What a difference from Raccoon City!
…そして、またメールが！
…And then, another email!
今度は「スタジアム前」へ💧
This time, I’m supposed to go to the area in front of the stadium. 💧
…なんだか弄ばれてないか？
…Am I being played here or what?
それでも指示に従っちゃうオレ💧
And yet, there I go, following instructions again. 💧
「スタジアム前」でも、大暴れ💧
Another rampage in front of the stadium. 💧
…これじゃあ、オレはただの暴漢だ～💦！
…At this rate, I’m nothing but a thug! 💦
誰か悪いヤツが、オレの評判を落とそうとしてないか？
Is someone trying to ruin my reputation?
さすがにメトロシティでも通報されるレベルだぞ⁉
Even in Metro City, this is enough to get someone reported to the police, isn’t it⁉
本当に来るのか？ 「気」を計測しているネオ・シャドルー⁉
Are the Neo Shadaloo people who are supposedly measuring my ki really going to show up⁉
すると、怪しい格好した男が２人…こちらを見ている！
And then, I spotted two suspicious-looking men watching me!
オレの「気」を計測に来たのは…、ま、まさかのキョンシー💦⁉
The people who came to measure my ki were… w-wait, could they be jiangshi?! 💦
キョンシー「………。」
Jiangshi: “……….”
レオン「………💧」
Leon: “………💧”
じゃあなくて、お前だろ～！
No, not you! It’s YOU, aren’t it?!
レオン「ネオ・シャドルーの計測員だよな？」
Leon: “You’re the Neo Shadaloo measurement guy, right?!”
ネオAB計測員「な、なんですか？ 私はただの、やじうまですよ💦」
Neo Shadaloo AB Measurement Agent: “W-what are you talking about? I’m just a curious onlooker! 💦”
レオン「うそつけ～っ！↑〈ネオAB計測員〉って出てるやないけ～っ‼」
Leon: “Don’t give me that! It literally says 〈Neo Shadaloo AB Measurement Agent〉 right above your head! !!”
ネオAB計測員「し、しまった～
！ 字幕に出しちゃった～💦」
Neo Shadaloo AB Measurement Agent: “O-oh, no～! I accidentally showed my name in the subtitles! 💦”
レオン「このドジっこがぁ～！ その根性叩き直しちゃる‼」
Leon: “You clumsy little fool! [Grumble] I’m gonna straighten you out once and for all‼”
結局、バトルになり、
And so, we ended up fighting.
ネオ・シャドルーの計測員にお灸を据えてあげました♡
I gave that Neo Shadaloo measurement agent a good lesson♡
あぁ、スッキリした～♪
Ahhh, that felt great～♪
↑この世界線(ゲーム)では、ただ暴れたいだけの人に成り下がっているレオン…💧
↑ In this particular game world, Leon has apparently been reduced to someone who just wants to go around causing trouble… 💧
あとは、リーに聞けば分かるってこと？
So, does that mean I’ll find out the rest if I ask Lee?
取り敢えず、「奔走するデコイ」クリア
Anyway, “A Running Decoy”: Cleared!
「奔走するデコイ」をクリアしてリーの所に戻ると、ミッション「潜入！シャドルー基地」が発生！
When I returned to Lee after clearing the mission, another one popped up: “Infiltrate! Shadaloo Base.”
シャドルーの基地に潜入することになりました💦
This time, I was going to infiltrate a Shadaloo base! 💦
レオン「O.K.！」
Leon: “O.K.!”
なぜか基地潜入に必要だと、「ずた袋」を渡される💧
For some reason, I was handed a burlap sack because it was apparently necessary for infiltrating the base. 💧
レオン「え～っ、嫌だよ！
Leon: “Whaaat?! No way!
こんな〈ジェイソン〉みたいな…バイオ４の〈チェーンソー男〉みたいな〈ずた袋〉被るの‼」
I’m not putting on something like this! It looks like Jason… or that Chainsaw Man from Resident Evil 4! I’m not wearing a sack over my head‼”
リー「…準備O.K.って言ったじゃん(呆)💧」
Lee: “…But you said you were ready. (Exasperated) 💧”
レオン「こんなもの被るために、O.K.って言ったんじゃあない～
！」
Leon: “I didn’t say O.K. just so I could wear something like THIS～! ”
これもミッションのため、新師匠のため💦！ 嫌々「ずた袋」を頭から被されるレオン。
Still, it was all for the mission… and for the sake of meeting my new master! 💦
Reluctantly, Leon had the burlap sack pulled over his head.
目の前が真っ暗に💧
Everything went pitch-black. 💧
…すると、聞き覚えのある声が！
…And then, I heard a familiar voice!
ジュリ師匠？
Master Juri?
小遣い稼ぎとはいえ、まだこんな悪事に手を染めているジュリ師匠。
Even if she’s just doing it to make some pocket money, she’s still involved in these shady activities.
相変わらずドＳですね💧
She’s as much of a sadist as ever. 💧
その後、基地の潜入に成功♪
After that, I successfully infiltrated the base♪
「ハー」という内通者の手助けを経て、
With the help of an inside informant named Ha…
(「リー」や「フー」に飽き足らず、「ハー」まで出てくるとは💦！)
(First Lee, then Foo, and now Ha?! How many of these names are there?! 💦)
押し寄せる雑兵たちを
…I wiped out the waves of grunts rushing toward me!
一掃！
All gone!
雑兵たちと戦闘を繰り返しつつ、基地内を調査していると「機密文書」を発見！
While repeatedly fighting off the grunts and investigating the base, I eventually discovered some confidential documents!
↑「ベガ」という男の行方や行動が綴られた「機密文書」を入手。
↑ I obtained confidential documents detailing the whereabouts and activities of a man named Vega.
こんな場所にはもう用がないので、面倒臭いヤツらに見つかる前に、さっさと脱出しよう
I’ve got no reason to hang around in a place like this anymore, so let’s get out of here before those annoying guys find me!
無事にシャドルー基地から脱出し、メトロシティに戻って、再びリーと合流。
I managed to escape the Shadaloo base safely and returned to Metro City, where I met up with Lee again.
レオン「はい、無事でした♪」(ケロリ)
Leon: “Here I am! Safe and sound♪” (As if nothing happened)
レオン「まぁな！」
Leon: “Well, of course!”
早速、「機密文書」をリーにも見てもらう。
I immediately showed Lee the confidential documents so he could take a look.
レオン「いや、だからその〈フー〉ってヤツに会わせろって！
Leon: “No, seriously! Just let me meet that guy, Foo! [Grumble]
こんなに大変な思いもしたし💦‼
After everything I’ve been through! 💦‼
不気味な〈ずた袋〉も被ったんだからさ
I even had to wear that creepy burlap sack on my head!
〈ご苦労様～！〉で終わりはないでしょ⁉」
You’re not seriously going to end things with just a 〈Thanks for all your hard work～! 〉, are you⁉”
レオン「………。」
Leon: “……….”
「潜入！シャドルー基地」をクリア
“Infiltrate! Shadaloo Base”: Cleared!
レオン「…って、本当にそれだけで帰りやがった！ リー‼」
Leon: “…Wait, he really just left me there and went home?! LEE! ‼”
それからすぐに、「フー」から連絡が入り、再びナイシャールへ行くことに！
Shortly afterward, I received another message from Foo, and this time I was told to head back to Nayshall!
仕事の依頼が入る。
Another job request came in.
レオン「またメールだけ？」
Leon: “Another email?! ”
ミッション「あやしいどうぶつ」がスタート💧
The mission “Suspicious Animals” began. 💧
レオン「これって、新師匠に関係あるのか？ しかも〈あやしいどうぶつ〉って何だよ💧」
Leon: “Does this have anything to do with the new master or not?! And what’s with the name ‘Suspicious Animals’ anyway? 💧”
マップに表示された人物…ナルドさんの所へ行き、話しを聞いた後「あやしいどうぶつの写真」を撮るミッション。
I went to see a man named Naldo, whose location was marked on the map.
After hearing what he had to say, my mission was to take pictures of “suspicious animals.”
…と、早速案内され…、
…And he immediately showed me one…

レオン「ただの眉毛犬！」
Leon: “That’s just a dog with eyebrows! ”
↑こんな自然に眉毛がある犬って実際見たことあるよ！
↑ I’ve actually seen dogs with naturally occurring eyebrows like this in real life!
飼い主とか周りの人間がいたずらで描き込んだものではなくて、本物の毛の‼
I’m not talking about eyebrows someone drew on as a prank. These are REAL FUR‼
…って、それが「あやしいどうぶつ」なの？
…So THIS is what they mean by a “suspicious animal”?
確かに見た目は笑えて怪しいかもだけど…💧
I mean, it does look funny and a little suspicious, but… 💧
疑問を持ちつつ「フー」さんに画像を送信！
Still wondering what the big deal was, I sent the picture to Mr. Foo!
めっちゃ怒られました…💧
He got REALLY angry at me… 💧
レオン「違うんかぃっ💦…まぁ、ただの眉毛犬だったから、そう言うとは思ったけど…💧」
Leon: “So that’s not it?! 💦 Well, I figured you’d say that, since it’s just a dog with eyebrows… 💧”
仕方なく、次へ…💦
Nothing I could do but move on to the next one… 💦
２匹目。
The second animal.
レオン「はい、撮りました！〈フー〉さん、今度はどう？」
Leon: “All right, I’ve got it! Mr. Foo, what do you think of this one?”
レオン「伸び～る超絶リラックス猫！」
Leon: “A super-relaxed cat that stretches out like it’s made of rubber!”
華麗にノリツッコミされました…💦
I got hit with a perfectly executed comedy comeback… 💦
レオン「また違うんかぃっ💧
Leon: “So THAT’S wrong, too?! 💧
前回の犬よりは面白味は減ったけど、可愛さが増したでしょ？ダメなのか⁉」
Okay, it’s not quite as funny as the dog from before, but it’s definitely cuter, right? You’re not going to accept that either?! ⁉”
レオン「もう、こんな大喜利ミッションはこりごり
」
Leon: “I’m SO done with these comedy improv missions! ”
渋々、次へ向かうことに！
Reluctantly, I headed off to look for the next one!
３匹目。
The third animal.
レオン「はい、コレなんかどうですか？」
Leon: “Okay, how about THIS one?! ”
レオン「水中からチラ見するカバ！」
Leon: “A hippo peeking out of the water!”
普通に間違いを訂正されました💧
This time, I was simply corrected for getting it wrong. 💧
レオン「これも違うのか～💧
Leon: “This one’s wrong, too～? 💧
…って、よく見りゃ確かに、これじゃあ、カバの通常運転画像だな💧
…Now that I look at it, yeah, that’s just a perfectly normal hippo doing its usual thing. 💧
オレも疲れて、写真のお笑いクオリティーが下がってるじゃん⤵
I’m getting tired, and the comedy quality of my photos is going downhill… ⤵
…もっと、禍々しい動物？ 思いつかないな…。」
…What kind of ominous, sinister animal am I supposed to come up with?”
とにかく、３匹とも違ったので、
Anyway, since all three pictures were wrong,
もう一度、ナルドさんに確認しに行く。２度手間💧
I had to go back and check with Naldo again. What a waste of time. 💧
紫色に光る馬⁉
A horse glowing purple⁉
月明りに照らされて…ということは、夜に出現するってことだな？
If it’s illuminated by moonlight, that means it appears at night, right?
じゃあ、その辺のカフェで夜になるまで時間を潰そう💧
Then I’ll just kill some time at a nearby café until nightfall. 💧
…って、ナイシャールにはカフェがな～い！
…Except THERE ARE NO CAFÉS IN NAYSHALL～!
仕方ないので、日陰でひと眠りするレオンなのでした💧
With no other choice, Leon decided to take a nap in the shade. 💧
夜になると、新たな目的地が表示されました。
When night fell, a new destination appeared on the map.
山の入り口付近に行くと…、真っ黒で白のたてがみの強そうな馬が立っています！
I headed toward the entrance to the mountains, and there…
A powerful-looking horse, completely black with a white mane, was standing there!
紫色には光っていないけど…アイツに間違いない！
It wasn’t glowing purple, but… that’s got to be the one!
追いかけてみよう‼
Let’s follow it‼
山の中腹付近で馬の嘶く声が！
As I approached the middle of the mountain, I heard a horse whinnying!
そちらを見ると、さっきの馬に人が乗っている‼
I looked in that direction, and there was the same horse… with a man riding on its back‼
その男の名は「ベガ」！
The man’s name was Vega!
レオンが知っているベガとはちょっと印象が違う…。
He looked a little different from the Vega I knew…
レオン「あ、あれ？ オレ、黒王号に気に入られた⁉」
Leon: “W-wait… Did I just get on the good side of Black King⁉”
(↑某漫画の馬の名前を勝手につけちゃうレオン💧 この馬は多分、黒王号ではありません！)
(↑ Leon has gone and given the horse a name borrowed from a certain manga. 💧 This horse probably isn’t Black King, though!)
ベガ「…また会うことになるかもしれん。」
Vega: “…We may meet again.”
レオン「…ってことは、弟子入りOKってことですか♪？」
Leon: “…So does that mean you’re OK with taking me on as your student♪?”
無言で立ち去るベガ。
Vega silently walked away.
早速、フーさんに撮れたカスケードの鼻のアップ画像を送信！
I immediately sent Mr. Foo a close-up picture of Cascade’s nose!
(↑こちらも某漫画の馬の名前。カスケードでもないと思うよ…レオン💧)
(↑ Another horse name borrowed from a certain manga. I don’t think this one is Cascade either, Leon… 💧)
レオン「はい、会いました！
Leon: “There! I met him!
…ベガもしっかり写っていたんだね💧
…So Bison was actually in the picture, too. 💧
てっきり、馬の鼻のドアップだけだと思った！」
I honestly thought I’d only managed to get an extreme close-up of the horse’s nose!”
レオン(ふう 取り敢えず、フーさんからの面倒な依頼は、これで済んだかな💦？)
Leon: (Phew! Well, I guess that takes care of Mr. Foo’s troublesome requests… right? 💦)
レオン「まだ続くんかぃっ💧」
Leon: “You’re telling me there’s MORE?! 💧”
再びメトロシティに戻ることに。
I had to head back to Metro City once again.
スタジアムの側にいるファンフェイさんの所へ向かうように、フーさんから指示を受けるのでした。
Foo instructed me to go see Feng Fei, who was near the stadium.
And so, the next part of this adventure was about to begin…
