【Capricorn ♑】

Leon inspired by the zodiac sign Capricorn.

He has goat horns and ears on his head, and a fish’s lower body!

The reason for this unusual appearance comes from Greek mythology.

One day, the gods of Olympus were having a huge feast by the Nile River 💧 when Typhon, the most powerful and terrifying half-man, half-monster, suddenly appeared!

Naturally, everyone panicked! 💦

The gods scrambled to escape and return to the heavens.

Among them was Pan, the god of shepherds and flocks, who tried to turn himself into a fish and dive into the Nile to escape.

But he was in such a hurry that he ended up with a rather amusing appearance: the upper body of a goat and the lower body of a fish!

His transformation sent the other gods into fits of laughter. 💧

He was eventually placed in the heavens in that very form, where he remains to this day.

And that’s the story behind Capricorn’s rather clumsy and playful origins — quite unlike the serious and dependable image usually associated with this zodiac sign!

To Leon’s left (from our perspective), I’ve placed the Capricorn symbol, and to his right, the zodiac glyph.

The background is pastel green, in keeping with Capricorn’s Earth element! ♪

【Capricorn ♑】

Capricornus…

Capricornus … Of all the twelve zodiac constellations, Capricornus occupies the smallest area of the sky. Even its brightest star, Delta Capricorni, has a relatively dim apparent magnitude of 2.83.

The meteor shower that occurs around October every year is also well known.

In Greek mythology, as explained above, Capricorn is associated with Pan, the god of shepherds and flocks.

I personally LOVE this adorable little story!

【Basic Personality Traits】

Capricorns tend to have strong social skills, a natural aptitude for working within organizations, a goal-oriented mindset, and a strong sense of responsibility. They’re dependable people! ♪

When we think of Capricorn, the first thing that usually comes to mind is its trademark seriousness.

However, despite that rather stern image, many Capricorns actually have a very endearing, human side to them.

That’s because their natural temperament also includes modesty and a gentle, reserved nature.

Incidentally, in Japan, Capricorn has traditionally been considered a common zodiac sign among politicians.

【Capricorn × Capricorn Type】 (Born December 22–31)

The most quintessentially Capricorn of all Capricorn types.

They’re excellent at making proper plans and steadily working toward their goals. They have a strong ability to keep moving forward! ♪

They’re late bloomers whose abilities grow stronger with age and experience.

Even as children, they tend to have rather mature ways of thinking, which can also make them a little shy. 💦

【Capricorn × Taurus Type】 (Born January 1–10)

The softest, gentlest, and most easygoing type among Capricorns.

They still have the fundamental Capricorn qualities of seriousness, sincerity, and self-discipline, but Taurus adds an extra touch of sweetness and gentleness, making these qualities even more pronounced.

They strive to behave in an orderly and disciplined manner, but even within that structured lifestyle, they’re the kind of people who bring a little relaxation and comfort to those around them. ♪

【Capricorn × Virgo + Aquarius Type】 (Born January 11–19)

Beneath their meticulous and serious exterior lies a mind full of unconventional thoughts and bold ideas. 💦

As a result, unlike the typically sociable Capricorn, many of them are more like researchers who deliberately distance themselves from groups and prefer to work independently.

That’s because they combine Virgo’s desire to build their own world, even if it means being alone, with Aquarius’s tendency to pursue anything that sparks their curiosity to the very end!
