今日も陽気に修行の日々を送って、メンチを切る…レオンです♫

It’s Leon, happily spending my days training and giving people the stink eye! ♫

え…？それじゃあ、今は無職同然だって⁉

Huh…? You mean that makes me practically unemployed right now⁉

イヤイヤ…、これも立派なエージェントになるための大事なプロセス！

No, no, no…! This is an important step toward becoming a first-rate agent!

ちゃんと、グラハム大統領からの許しも得ているんだ💦

Besides, I got permission from President Graham himself! 💦

…アシュリーを助けた後、休暇代わりに「修行の旅に出させてください」って！

…After rescuing Ashley, I asked him, “Could you let me take a training trip instead of a vacation?”

…何？ ルイスじゃあなくて、本物のハンサムなプーはオレだって⁉

…What? You’re saying that I’m the real handsome Pooh, not Luis⁉

ちょ、ちょっと、それは違うと思うぞ？

H-Hold on a second! I don’t think you’ve got that quite right!

オレはただ休職中なだけなんだ！本当だって💦‼

I’m just on a leave of absence from work! Honest! 💦‼

あのケンに会って、弟子にしてもらったぜ！

I met the one and only Ken and got him to take me on as his student!

やっぱり、世界チャンピオンになった人は違うな～♪

Man, there’s just something special about someone who’s become a world champion! ♪

こんなオレを守ってくれるなんて、相当なやり手だぜ！

And he’s skilled enough to protect a guy like me, too! This guy really knows his stuff!

その後、ケン師匠と戦って、一応、勝利は収めたけど…このオレが苦戦するとはっ💦

After that, I fought Master Ken and managed to win… but I can’t believe I actually had that much trouble! 💦

ケン師匠に敬意を表して…最後は、師匠の勝利のポーズでフィニッシュ

To show my respect for Master Ken, I finished the fight with his signature victory pose!

(何故だか、表情まで似てしまった…💧)

(For some reason, even my facial expression ended up looking like his… 💧)

その後、お互いの友好の証に、オレ→波動拳・ケン師匠→昇竜拳のポーズで記念撮影

Afterward, as a sign of our friendship, we took a commemorative photo: me striking a Hadoken pose and Master Ken striking a Shoryuken pose!

なかなか良い記念写真になったぜ～♫

That turned out to be a pretty awesome photo! ♫

修行の間…休憩がてらの散歩。

During my training, I took a little walk to relax.

メトロシティ名物・前市長「マイク・ハガー像」の前でパチリ

I stopped to snap a photo in front of one of Metro City’s famous landmarks: a statue of its former mayor, Mike Haggar!

すっかり、この街を楽しんでいるオレ💧

I’ve really gotten into enjoying life in this city, haven’t I? 💧

…ただ遊んでいる訳じゃないぞ！…本当に修行しに来ているんだっ💦

…But I’m not just here to fool around! I’m seriously training, I swear! 💦

そんな中、ケン師匠のコスプレをしている「ケニー」なる者に遭遇。

While I was out and about, I ran into someone named Kenny, who was cosplaying as Master Ken.

似てはいるのだが…どこか滑稽💧

He looked pretty similar… but there was something kind of ridiculous about him. 💧

まずは、どっちがよりケン師匠が好きか？を競い、結局…意気投合した証にハートポーズで記念撮影

First, we competed to see which of us loved Master Ken more. In the end, we hit it off, so we took a commemorative photo making heart poses to celebrate our newfound friendship!

お互い、素晴らしい柔軟性！

We were both incredibly flexible!

その後、ケン師匠の形(かた)でどちらが強いか？…で戦うこととなり…結果、↑こうなっちゃいました～😅

After that, we decided to fight to see who was stronger at performing Master Ken’s moves… and, well, the result was what you see above! 😅

もう１つのケン師匠の決めポーズで、倒れた「ケニー」を左足で踏み踏み…💧

I used another one of Master Ken’s signature poses and stomped on the fallen Kenny with my left foot… 💧

この街の流儀がよく分かっているな♪

He sure knows the local customs around here! ♪

ちょっと、やり過ぎたかな💦？

Maybe I went a little too far? 💦

それでも後腐れなく、笑顔で会話してくれる「ケニー」…。

Even so, Kenny chatted with me afterward with a big smile, without holding a grudge…

その後、マイク・ハガー記念格闘大会のノービスクラスで優勝したオレ…。

Later, I won the novice division of the Mike Haggar Memorial Fighting Tournament!

MCの「エタニティ」に優勝インタビューされちゃった～💧

And then I got interviewed by Eternity, the event’s MC! 💧

…でも、この人、なかなかオレに喋らせてくれないんだ…。

…But this person barely gave me a chance to say anything.

ず～っと、自分ばかり喋って…💧

They just kept talking and talking about themselves… 💧

やっと、聞いてきたのは、また答えにくい質問で…、

And when they finally got around to asking me a question, it was another tough one to answer…

なんて答えていいか分からず、考えていたら…勝手に話をまとめられてインタビューも強制終了されちまった💧

I was trying to figure out what to say when they just wrapped things up on their own and abruptly ended the interview! 💧

こういう咄嗟のリアクション(ていうの？) …オレ、苦手なんだよね～💦

You know those moments when you have to come up with a quick response on the spot? (Is that what you’d call it?)

Yeah… I’m not very good at that sort of thing! 💦

大会に優勝できたことは、嬉しかったけど…な。

Still, I was happy to win the tournament, though!

それでも、オレの修行の道はまだまだ続く！

But my training journey is far from over!

今週のオレのお勧めコーディネート♪

Now, here’s my recommended outfit for this week! ♪

赤のサンバイザーに黒地に青のウィンドブレーカー、青のトレーニングボトムに赤のスニーカー。

A red sun visor, a black-and-blue windbreaker, blue training pants, and red sneakers.

名付けて「有名コーチ」コーデ！

I’ve decided to call this the “Famous Coach” Outfit!

世界の名立たるスポーツ選手を育て上げてる名コーチに見えるだろ？

I look like one of those legendary coaches who train world-class athletes from all over the globe, don’t I?

「オレに掛かれば、どんな選手も世界を狙えるぜ！」

“With me as your coach, any athlete can become a world champion!”

…な～んてな♪

…Or something like that! ♪

お次は、このイカついコーデ！

Next up, we’ve got this tough-guy outfit!

青のサマージャケットと白のカジュアルなYシャツ、赤のテーパードパンツに黒のプレーントゥ。

A blue summer jacket, a casual white dress shirt, red tapered pants, and black plain-toe shoes.

金鎖の首飾りにウェリントンサングラス。

I’ve added a gold chain necklace and a pair of Wayfarer-style sunglasses, too.

本当はもっと伝説的な強さを持った…龍のような男みたいなコーディネートにしたかったけど…、

I was actually aiming for the look of a dragon-like man with legendary strength…

その男のシンボル…グレーのスーツと赤シャツ、ヘビ皮の靴がなくて残念だ💧

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find his signature outfit: a gray suit, a red shirt, and snakeskin shoes. What a shame! 💧

まぁ、これでも十分、そっち系に見えるんで良しとするか…。

Well, this outfit still gives off that kind of vibe, so I guess it’ll do!

最後は、ストリートのやんちゃBOYコーデ！

And finally, the “Mischievous Street Boy” Outfit!

赤のストリートキャップと青のデニムジャケット、Tシャツ(TIGER KIMBERLY TEE)、黒のテーパードパンツに青のラインが入った黒のトレーニングシューズ。

A red street cap, a blue denim jacket, a TIGER KIMBERLY TEE, black tapered pants, and black training shoes with blue stripes.

いかにもストリートで戯れてるチョイ悪な若者って感じがするだろ？

Doesn’t it look like the kind of outfit worn by a slightly rebellious young guy who hangs around on the streets?

このメトロシティでは、こんな格好の奴がウヨウヨしている。

Metro City is crawling with people dressed just like this.

それを取り締まる側だった…このオレが、今じゃあこんな格好をしている。

And here I am, someone who used to be on the side of the law, cracking down on people like that… now dressing just like them myself!

…人生って予測不可能なことがあって、面白いものだよな♪

…Life sure is unpredictable. That’s what makes it interesting, don’t you think? ♪

…というわけで、今のオレの基本コーデが↑コレ！

…And there you have it! The outfit I’m wearing most often these days is the one shown above!

警官という真面目な仕事に就いていた分、その反動でちょっと高圧的な格好をして、メトロシティを楽しんでいま～す💧

After spending my working life in the serious profession of law enforcement, I’m enjoying Metro City by dressing a little more intimidatingly than usual! 💧

(街の至る所に落ちている道具を使って人を殴ったり、人を背負ってガードレール目掛けてブレーンバスターしたり、川に人を突き落としたり…などなど、「極」という技は出していないからな😅！

(And just so we’re clear, I haven’t started using any of those “Extreme” moves, like picking up random objects lying around the city and beating people with them, hoisting someone onto my shoulders and hitting them with a brain buster against a guardrail, or throwing people into rivers! 😅

…時々、〈もしかして出せるんじゃあないか〉と錯覚しちゃうけど…💧) ←「龍が〇く」？

…Although, sometimes I catch myself wondering, “Wait… could I actually do that?” 💧) ← Isn’t that from Like a Dragon?
