メトロシティでアルバイトに明け暮れている…レオンです♫

It’s Leon, spending my days working one part-time job after another here in Metro City! ♫

毎日修行に励んではいるが、…なんやかんやでお金が掛かって、新しい服も買えなくてね…。

I’ve been training hard every day, but… one thing led to another, and all that training has been costing me money. I can’t even afford to buy new clothes anymore…

とにかく、お金を稼がなければいけなくなったんだ💦

So, I’ve had no choice but to start earning some cash! 💦

ナニ？前回、「ハンサムなプー」とバレてしまったから、慌ててバイトし出したって⁉

What? You think I rushed out to get a job because people found out I was the “handsome Pooh” last time⁉

ち、違う💦！…とは言い切れんな、こんな金欠状態じゃあ…💧

N-No, that’s not it! 💦 …Well, I can’t exactly deny it when I’m this broke, can I? 💧

そこで、試割り研究家のブリックさんのお店で…ビールの栓を手刀で開けるバイトをすることになったよ💧

So, I landed a part-time job at the shop run by Brick, a guy who specializes in breaking things for a living… 💧

My job was to open beer bottles by chopping off their caps with the edge of my hand!

…最初はビール瓶だけだったんだが、途中から瓦も出てきて、割らなければいけない…謎バイト。

At first, it was just beer bottles, but halfway through, they started bringing out roof tiles for me to break, too. What kind of mystery job is this supposed to be?!

時給が安くても、修行の一環として引き受けてみたものの…これが結構…面白難しい！

Even though the hourly pay wasn’t great, I took the job as part of my training… but I have to admit, it was surprisingly fun and challenging!

案外クセになって、時間外労働までしてしまった…💦

I got hooked on it and even ended up working overtime! 💦

ブリックさんもこんなオレの働きっぷりに、いたく感動していたよ♪

Brick was really impressed with how hard I worked, too! ♪

仕事の終わりに、仲良く同じポーズで記念撮影

At the end of the shift, we took a commemorative photo together, striking the same pose as old pals!

次にやったのは…ジャンク屋・スモールさんのお店で車解体のバイト。

Next up… I worked at a junkyard run by Small, helping him dismantle cars.

なんと、素手でトラックをスクラップにするんだ！

And get this: I had to scrap an entire truck with my bare hands!

…これも修行になると思って、簡単に引き受けてしまった…オレ💧

…I figured it would be good training, so I accepted the job without giving it much thought. 💧

バイト中…懐かしさを感じてしまったのは何故だろう？

But why did I get such a nostalgic feeling while I was working?

トラックを解体し終わった後に…男が現れ「Oh,my god! 」と泣き崩れる…。

After I finished dismantling the truck… a man showed up, cried out “Oh, my God!”, and collapsed in despair…

…そうだ！

…That’s it!

この車解体のバイト…ゲーム「Final Fight」のボーナスステージで観たシーン…そのものだからだ‼

This job was recreating the exact scene from the bonus stage in the game Final Fight‼

でも、実際オレがトラックを解体した後に、そんな男は現れなかったけどな💧

Of course, no such guy showed up after I finished wrecking the truck in real life. 💧

このバイトも上手くいって、仲良くなったスモールさんと記念の１枚

I did a great job at this one, too, and took a commemorative photo with Small, who’d become a good buddy of mine!

お互い腕を組んで…まるで共同オーナーのよう♪

With our arms crossed like that, we look like co-owners of the place!

…オレはただのバイトなんだけどね💧

…Even though I’m just a part-timer. 💧

その次は、板割りファイター・練さんの所でのバイト。

After that, I took a job at the shop run by Ren, a board-breaking fighter.

上下左右に練さんの弟子たちが構えた板を素手で割る仕事…💧

My task was to smash boards with my bare hands while Ren’s students held them out in every direction—up, down, left, and right. 💧

これバイトなの？なんでお金が貰えるの⁉…と疑問を持ってはいけない！

Wait, is this really a part-time job? Why am I getting paid for this⁉

Don’t ask questions like that!

今回も難なくこなす…オレ。

I handled the job without breaking a sweat, as usual!

警察官→合衆国エージェントの他に、こんな仕事も向いていたとは…意外だったぜ！

Who knew I had a talent for this kind of work, on top of being a police officer and a U.S. government agent? What a surprise!

その証拠に…仲良くなった練さんとお弟子さんたちとポーズを決めてパシャリ

And here’s the proof! I struck a pose with Ren and his students, who’d become good friends of mine, and snapped a picture!

バッチリ決まったな♪

Looking pretty sharp, aren’t we? ♪

そして、最後はピッツァ店員・セルベルラさんに頼まれたバイト。

Finally, I got a part-time job from Cervelera, who works at a pizza restaurant.

お店が大人気なため、人手が足りないらしく、ピッツァ作りの手伝いをすることになったぞ。

Business was booming, and they were short-staffed, so I was asked to help make pizzas!

このオレがピザ作り⁉…なんて驚いていたら…、

Me? Making pizza?!

Just as I was expressing my surprise, I got hit with this:

「ピザ」じゃありません！「ピッツァ」です‼

“It’s not PIZZA! It’s PI-TZZA!” ‼

…って、某M‐１の優勝ネタのように怒られちまった💧

…He got mad at me like someone delivering a famous punchline from a certain M-1 Grand Prix-winning comedy routine! 💧

し、知るか～💦 どっちでもいいわ～

H-How was I supposed to know?!💦 Who cares what you call it?!

…と言いつつ、今回も見事に仕事をこなしたオレ💧

…Of course, I ended up doing a great job here, too. 💧

結構、器用？

Maybe I’m more versatile than I thought?

セルベルラさんと「シャカのハンドサイン」とかいう…訳の分からないポーズで絆の記念撮影

Cervelera and I took a commemorative photo to celebrate our new bond, striking some bizarre pose called the “shaka hand sign”!

…こうして、いろいろなアルバイトを渡り歩いて…やっと、新しい服が買えるまでお金が貯まったぜ～♪

…I have no idea what that pose is supposed to mean, but there you have it!

After working my way through all these different part-time jobs, I’d finally saved enough money to buy some new clothes! ♪

それで、たくさんある服の中から選んだのは…柔道着💧

And out of all the outfits available, what did I choose?

A judo uniform. 💧

それを着てメトロシティをうろついていると…、ある男から声を掛けられた。

While I was wandering around Metro City wearing it, a man approached me.

「エキストラとして撮影に参加して欲しい…。」

“I’d like you to participate in a film shoot as an extra…”

…と、そのオスカーという男はオレに依頼をしてきた。

That was the request from a man named Oscar.

快く引き受けてみたものの、まさかフランスまで行く羽目になるとは！

I happily accepted, never imagining I’d end up going all the way to France!

…そして、マノンとかいうプリマドンナに、↑こんな無様に投げられてしまうとは…不覚💦！

…And I certainly never expected to get thrown around so pathetically by a prima ballerina named Manon, as you can see above! What a disgrace! 💦

早速、弟子にしてもらいました～♪

Naturally, I asked her to take me on as her student right away! ♪

セクシーなポーズの師匠と弟子になった記念～

さすが、モデルをしているマノン師匠…スタイルが良い！

As you’d expect from Master Manon, who’s a model, she’s got an amazing figure!

一体、何頭身？ってぐらい、スタイルが良過ぎだよな💦

Seriously, how many heads tall is she?! Her proportions are just unreal! 💦

…と、今週も何かと楽しんじゃっている毎日。

…And that’s another week of all sorts of fun and adventures!

修行とは、苦しいばかりじゃないんだなぁ～と実感。

I’m starting to realize that training doesn’t have to be all pain and suffering.

…でも実際、なにかと楽しんでやる方が上達が早いんだよな♪

…In fact, you tend to improve faster when you’re enjoying yourself! ♪

そんなお気楽なメトロシティライフ＆修行(二の次💧？) …これからも、まだまだ続くよ

And so, my carefree Metro City life and training (which sometimes seems to take a back seat 💧?) will continue for a long time to come!

Now, let’s move on to this week’s recommended outfits! ♪

まずは↑でも紹介した柔道着とスポーティヘアバンドの組み合わせ。

First up, the judo uniform I showed you earlier, paired with a sporty headband.

スポーティヘアバンド…いわゆる日本語での「鉢巻」！

A sporty headband—in Japanese, that’s basically an hachimaki, or traditional headband!

これがこのコーデのポイントさ♪

That’s the key feature of this outfit! ♪

…頭に巻けば、気合が入ること間違いなしだ‼

Just wrap it around your head, and you’re guaranteed to feel fired up! ‼

(知る人ぞ知る)映画「ベストキッド」の主人公のような出で立ち！

It gives me the look of the main character from the movie The Karate Kid, for those in the know!

片足で立ち、「カマキリ」のように両手を上げて、「鶴の舞」のポーズをとれば完璧

Now, if I stand on one leg, raise both arms like a mantis, and strike the Crane Kick pose, I’ll have the perfect look!

次は↑のバイト中に着ていたコーデ。

Next up is the outfit I wore while working those part-time jobs! ↑

黒のカジュアルキャップと緑のツナギ服、黄色のワークブーツ。

A black casual cap, green coveralls, and yellow work boots.

まるで、引っ越し作業員のよう…と、オレも思った💧

I thought I looked like a moving company employee myself. 💧

まぁ、作業服というだけあって、身体を張ったオレのバイトにはピッタリ！

But hey, it’s workwear, so it’s perfect for all the physically demanding jobs I’ve been doing!

オレの新たな才能の開花に一役買ってくれたコーデだ♪

This outfit helped me discover a whole new talent of mine! ♪

最後に紹介するのは…、今の季節には合わない服💧

And finally, here’s an outfit that’s completely unsuitable for the current season. 💧

黒のストリートニット・TIGER CHIN－LI TEE(Tシャツ)

白のカウチセーター・カーキのテーパードパンツ

A black street-knit top, a TIGER CHIN-LI TEE, a white cowl-neck sweater, and khaki tapered pants.

赤のワークブーツ・赤のスクエアメガネ・手錠(アクセ)。

Add red work boots, red square-framed glasses, and a pair of handcuffs as an accessory.

この季節に、真冬のセーター。

A winter sweater in this weather? Seriously?

一応、ファッションショーみたいなものだから、季節を先取り…ということで、許してくれよな💦

Well, this is basically a fashion show, so let’s just say I’m getting ahead of the seasons. I hope you’ll let me off the hook! 💦

先取りし過ぎて、この格好でメトロシティを闊歩していたら、「暑苦しい」と周りから白い目で見られてしまったが…。

I got a little too far ahead of the season, though. When I strutted around Metro City dressed like this, people gave me dirty looks as if to say, “You look way too hot and stuffy!”

それでもコーディネートとしては…なかなかキマっているだろ？

Still, as an outfit, it’s actually pretty stylish, don’t you think?

…というわけで、今のオレの基本コーデが↑これ！

…And there you have it! My current go-to outfit is the one shown above!

さっき、紹介したものと全く一緒だけど、着ているオレの動きが違うから、そのまま採用！

It’s exactly the same outfit I introduced earlier, but since I’m moving differently in this shot, I’m keeping it as my main look!

腰にぶら下げた手錠がポイントさ♪

The highlight is the pair of handcuffs hanging from my waist! ♪

やっぱり、警察官の頃の習慣が抜けていないって？

Still can’t shake those old police habits, huh?
