〈カードの詳細〉 Crad details

数字の８…「７」で１つの周期を終え、更なる発展を目指す数字。

The number ８…a number that comes after ‘７,’ which completes one cycle, and represents striving for further growth.

「拡大する」という意味もあるので、これまでの価値観やステージから脱して、より高みを求める数字でもあります。

It also carries the meaning of ‘expansion,’ symbolizing breaking away from previous values or stages and seeking something greater.

棺…あの世へ死者を送り届ける入れ物。

Coffin…a container used to send the deceased to the afterlife.

…と、ちょっと怖いイメージを連想しがちですが、そんなことはありません。

…That might make you imagine something a bit frightening, but that’s mot really the case.

「死」より「終わり」という意味合いが強いです。

This card carries a stronger meaning of ‘an ending’ rather than ‘death.’

…終わりと聞くと悲しい感じがしますが、「今までの悪い状況が終わる」、「嫌な関係を断ち切る」など、場合によっては良い意味のカードとして解釈されます。

…Hearing the word ‘ending’ may sound sad, but it can also be interpreted positively depending on the situationー such as ‘an end to a bad situation’ or ‘cutting ties with an unpleasant relationship.’

それを、ドラキュラの扮装をしたレオンに描き替えてみました。

So, I replaced it with Leon dressed as Dracula.

イメージでは、今の元気いっぱいのレオンと棺は直接的に結びつかないので、コスプレするという…こんな構図になりました。

In terms of imagery, a lively Leon like he is now doesn’t directly connect with a coffin, so I ended up with this compositionー having him do a bit cosplay.

夏が終わると…早ければ、ハロウィーン関連の商品が店頭に飾られます。

Once summer ends, Halloween-related items start appearing in stores quite early.

…もう、そんな季節なんですね(しみじみ)💦

…It’s already that kind of season, isn’t it？ (Feeling nostalgic) 💦

ダイアの９…この「８番・棺のカード」は、トランプの「ダイヤの９」と共通の意味を持っています。

The Nine of Diamonds…this ‘No.８ー Coffin’ card shares a common meaning with the ‘Nine of Diamonds’ in playing cards.

自身が持つ知識や才能を活かして、物質的な豊かさを得ている状態。

It represents a state of gaining material wealth by making use of one’s knowledge and talents.

…ですが、「10」より１つ足りないということで「不足感」を表す数字でもあります(特に金銭面＆物質面で)。

…However, since it is one step short of ’10,’ it can also represent a sense of ‘lack’ー especially in financial or material matters.
