カップのキング…キングは、権力と責任を持つ王様のことで、何かを成し遂げた人物。
The King of Cups…A king represents someone who holds power and responsibility, a person who has accomplished something in life.
カップ(杯)は、「感情」や「愛情」を表す「水」のエレメント。
Cups correspond to the element of water, which represents emotions and love.
カップのキングは、今までの経験で得た…喜びや悲しみなどの感情を司り、人々のどんな悩みや苦しみをも理解してくれる、寛大で慈悲深い王様です。
The King of Cups governs the emotions gained through life’s experiences－ joy, sorrow, and everything in between－ and is a generous and compassionate ruler who understands people’s worries and suffering.
カップのカードの最終到達点でもあります。
He is also the final stage of the Suit of Cups.
大きなカップを手にしているレオン…レオンの持つ大きなカップは、文字通りレオンの器の大きさを表しています。
Leon is holding a large cup…The large cup in his hand literally represents the breadth of his heart.
左手に持つ杖は、普通の王様が持つ杖より短く、このカップのキングの謙虚さの表れです。
The staff in his left hand is shorter than the scepters typically held by kings, symbolizing the humility of this King of Cups.
海を泳ぐデルラゴと豪華客船クイーン・ゼノビア…本物のタロットカードでは、泳ぐイルカ(左)と赤い帆の船(右)が描かれています。
The Del Lago swimming in the sea and the luxury crise ship Queen Zenobia…In the original tarot card, a dolphin (on the left) and a ship with a red sail (on the right) are depicted.
海上では様々なことが起こっていますが、そんな状況でも全く動じず、波に揺れる自身の玉座さえも楽しんでいるような器の大きさをこのカップのキングは持っています。
Many things are happening out on the sea, yet the King of Cups remains completely unfazed.
He possesses such great composure that he even seems to enjoy sitting on his throne as it gently rocks with the waves.
そのイルカをバイオ４＆RE:4のオオサンショウウオの怪物「デルラゴ」に。
It this card, I replaced the dolphin with Del Lago－ the giant salamander-like monster from Resident Evil ４＆RE:４.
赤い帆の船をリベレーションズの舞台になった、豪華客船クイーン・ゼノビアに描き替えてみました。
I also replaced the red-sailed ship with the luxury crise liner Queen Zenobia, the setting of Resident Evil: Revelations.
ランカーバスの首飾り…本物のタロットカードでも、魚の形をした首飾りが描かれています。
The Lunker Bass necklace…In the original tarot card, a necklace shaped like a fish is also depicted.
「魚」は、富の象徴。
Fish are a symbol of wealth.
または、初期のキリスト教徒が隠れシンボルとして用いていたイクトゥスのこと。
They can also represent the Ichthys, the secret symbol used by early Christians.
イクトゥスとは、弧をなす２本の線を交差させて出来た形(∝)で、魚を横から見た形に似ています。
The Ichthys is formed by two intersecting arcs (∝), creating a shape that resembles a fish seen from the side.
そのことから、「魚の形の首飾り」→「キリストの神秘」の象徴で、慈悲深さや信仰心を表しています。
Because of this, the fish necklace symbolizes the mysteries of Christ, representing compassion and faith.
それを、バイオ４＆RE:４のランカーバスに描き替えてみました。
In this card, I replaced it with the Lunker Bass from Resident Evil ４＆ RE:４.
なんだか、生臭そうな首飾りになってしまいましたね💧
Somehow, it ended up looking like a rather fishy-smelling necklace. 💧
