〈カードの詳細〉 Card details
ワンドのナイト…「ナイト」は文字通り「騎士」のことで、ペイジよりも少し年が上の若者から青年で表され、「風」のエレメントに属しています。
The Knight of Wands…The Knight literally represents a young man, slightly older than the Page, often portrayed as a youth or young adult, and belongs to the element of Air.
ワンド(こん棒)は「情熱」や「理想」、「活力」を表す「火」のエレメント。
Wands symbolize passion, ideals, and vitality, corresponding to the element of Fire.
ワンドのナイトは、「火」と「風」が合わさって勢いが増し、その若さを持ち味に…理想に向かって情熱を燃やし、積極的で勢いがある人物を指しています。
The Knight of Wands combines Fire and Air, amplifying its energy.
This card represents someone who channels their youthful vigor toward their ideals with burning passion, showing an active, enthusiastic, and dynamic personality.
馬に乗り、甲冑を着ているレオン…荒々しい馬に乗り、理想を目指してエネルギッシュに行動するレオン。
Leon, mounted on a horse and wearing armor…Rinding a wild horse, he acts energetically in pursuit of his ideals.
着ている甲冑は、戦争をするためのものではなく、目指すべき理想や目標に挑むための心構えを象徴しているようです。
The armor he wears is not meant for war, but symbolizes the mindset needed to face his goals and challenges.
本物のタロットカードのナイトの服には、以前「ワンドのペイジ」でも説明された「火トカゲ」が描かれています。
On traditional Tarot Knight’s attire, as explained in the previous Page of Wands, a Lizard is depicted.
「火トカゲ」は育ち盛りのフレッシュなエネルギーの象徴。
The Lizard represents fresh, growing energy.
それを今回も、オリジナルバイオ４のロゴに描き替えてみました。
This time, I’ve replaced it with the logo of the original Resident Evil ４ in my design.
勢いよく駆けだす馬…すぐにでも走り出しそうな馬は、乗っているレオンの性格の表れ。
The horse galloping forward…The horse, ready to bolt at any moment, reflects the personality おfLeon riding it.
「すぐにでも飛び出したい」…というせっかちさや気性の荒さを表しています。
It represents impatience and a fiery temperament, the urge to ‘burst into action immediately.’
(レオンの性格が…って、ことではなく、あくまでも「ワンドのナイトのレオンの性格」のことなので…ご注意！)
(Note: This refers specifically to the personality of Leon as the Knight of Wands, not Leon’s actual character－ just a heads-up！)
レオンが持っているワンド…ワンドのキング＆クイーンより長さが短いナイトの持つワンド。
The wand Leon holds…As the knight’s wand is shorter than those of the King and Queen of Wands,
ナイトがキングやクイーンより、考えが短絡的で忍耐強さがない未熟な人物であることを表しています。
it represents the Knight as a less mature person, with more impulsive thinking and less patience compared to the King or Queen.
砂漠にあるピラミッド…ワンドのペイジにも描かれていた「砂漠」。
The pyramid in the desert…The same desert that appeared in the Page of Wands.
そこでも説明したように…このような悪条件でも芽吹いたワンドのように、レオンが力強い情熱を持っていることを表しています。
As explained there, just like a wand sprouting even in harsh conditions, it represents Leon’s strong and passionate energy.
そして、「ピラミッド」。
And the Pyramidー
タロットによく描かれている「山」とは違って、ここが最終目的地、ゴールではなさそうです。
unlike the mountains often depicted in Tarot, this doesn’t seem to be the final destination or goal.
レオンが通り過ぎているので、夢や目標の通過点であると考えて良いでしょう。
Since Leon is passing by it, we can consider it a milestone on the way to his dreams and objectives.
ここを過ぎて、更なる理想の目的地に挑もうとしているのです。
He is moving past it, ready to challenge himself toward an even higher ideal.
