〈カードの詳細〉 Card details

ペンタクルの４…数字の「４」は世界を創造する数字で「安定性」を表します。

The Four of Pentacles…The number ‘４’ is associated with the structure of the world and represents stability.

ペンタクル(金貨)は、そのままお金や物質、現実的な思考や堅実な行動を表す「地」のエレメント。

Pentacles correspond to the element of ‘earth,’ symbolizing money, material possessions, practical thinking, and steady action.

ペンタクルの４は、お金や物質などの現実世界で得た所有物を、安定を求めるあまり抱え込む…つまり、手放したくなくて執着するという意味もあります。

The Four of Pentacles suggests holding tightly to what one has gained in the material world－ such as money or possessions－ in an excessive desire for stability; in other words, clinging to them out of a reluctance to let go.

ペンタクルを抱え込むレオン…足元と両手、頭の王冠の上と、合計４つのペンタクルを抱え込んでいます。

Leon clutching the Pentacles…He is holding a total of four Pentacles－ one beneath his feet, one in each hand, and one resting atop the crown on his head.

後ろに広がる街にも目もくれず、まっすぐ正面を見据え、石の椅子に座っています。

Without sparing even a glance at the city spreading out behind him, he sits on a store seat, staring straight ahead.

その様子はこのペンタクルを手放さないために、頑なに動かない意思を感じます。

His posture conveys a stubborn determination not to move, as if to ensure that he never let’s go of these Pentacles.

この持ち物への執着、所有欲の強さから「守り」に入り過ぎていることが分かります。

From the intensity of his attachment and possessiveness toward his belongings, it is clear that he has become overly defensive.

レオンの服が全体的に赤いのは、情熱やアクティブなエネルギーを持っている証。

Leon’s predominantly red outfit signifies passion and active energy.

この4つのペンタクル(所有物)を守ろうと情熱を燃やしている象徴なのです。

It symbolizes the burning determination with which he protects these four Pentacles－ his possessions.

後ろに広がる街並み…街といえば金銭が行き交う商業が盛んな場所。

The cityscape spreading out behind him…A city is a place where commerce thrives, and money constantly circulates.

しかし、レオンはその街に目もくれず、ペンタクルを抱え込んでいます。

Yet Leon pays no attention to it, instead clutching his Pentacles tightly.

このペンタクルを使わず、手元に置いておきたい、貯め込んでおきたいという意志が表れています。

This reflects his desire not to use them, but to keep them close at hand－ to hold onto them and accumulate them.

その街にはバイオハザードの舞台になった洋館、バイオ２に登場したラクーン警察署も見えます。

Within that city, you can also see the mansion that served as the setting of Resident Evil, asウェllァsてぇRaccoon Police Department featured in Resident Evil２.

灰色の背景…レオンの背景や座っている石の椅子など、カード全体に灰色が目立ちます。

The gray background…Gray is prominent throughout the card, from Leon’s surroundings to the stone seat on which he sits.

灰色は、物事が白か黒かハッキリせず、未来は発展途中で未知数であることを示しています。

Gray suggests that things are neither clearly black nor white, and that the future remains uncertain－ still in the process of unfolding.

このレオンがペンタクルを抱えているせいで、お金や流通が今は停滞していますが、この先、それが循環したり、増幅する可能性もあるからです。

Because Leon is holding tightly to the Pentacles, money and circulation are currently at a standstill.

However, there is still the possibility that they may begin to flow－ or even multiply－ in the future.
