〈カードの詳細〉 Card details
カップの４…数字の「４」は、安定や安全を示す数字。
The Four of Cup…The number ‘４’ represents stability and security.
カップ(杯)のエレメントは「水」で、愛情や感情を象徴しています。
The element of Cups is ‘water’ symbolizing love and emotions.
カップの４は、心の安全を求めすぎることで、何事に対しても保守的になってしまっている状態を表しています。
The Four of Cups represents a state in which, by seeking emotional security too strongly, one becomes overly cautious and conservative toward everything.
腕を組んで座り込むレオン…腕を組んでいる状態は、保守的な態度を表しています。
Leon sitting with his arms crossed…Crossing one’s arms represents a conservative or close-off attitude.
レオンが少し不満げな表情で３つのカップを見ていることから、過去の体験に満足していない様子を示しています。
The fact that Leon is looking at the three cups with a slightly dissatisfied expression suggests that he is not content with his past experiences.
３つのカップ…３つのカップは、カードの左側に置かれているので、過去に体験してきた数々の出来事を意味しています。
The three cups…Since they are placed on the left side of the card, they represent the many experiences of the past.
それを、バイオ４のお宝でお馴染みの「青・王の聖杯」、「赤・后の聖杯」に。
I reimagined them as the familiar treasures from Resident Evil ４－ the ‘Blue: King’s Grail’ and the ‘Red: Queen’s Grail.’
そして、私オリジナル「緑・王子の聖杯」に描き替えてみました。
And for the third, I created my own original piece－ the ‘Green: Prince’s Grail.
雲から伸びた手と差し出されたカップ…「カップのエース」を彷彿とされる構図の手とカップ。
The hand emerging from the cloud and the cup being offered…The composition strongly evokes the Ace of Cups.
この差し出されたカップは、新しい可能性やチャンスを示しています。
This offered cup represents new possibilities and opportunities.
しかし、レオンはこれに気付いていません。
However, Leon fails to notice it.
目の前の３つのカップ(過去)ばかりを見つめているからです。
Because he is fixated only on the three cups before him－ the past.
その差し出されたカップを私オリジナル「橙・王女の聖杯」に描き替えてみました。
I reimagined the offered cup as my original creation: the ‘Orange: Princess’s Grail.’
