もうすぐ、「バイオ９」が発売されて１ヶ月…。
It’s been almost a month since Resident Evil ９ was released…
一部のバイオファンの間では、レオンの結婚相手が誰なのか？ …の話題が持ちきりですが、敢えて言うなら…それはクレアだと私は思います…。
Among some fans, the big topic has been who Leon’s future wife might be.
If I had to say, though…I personally think it’s Claire.
相手はシェリーだという説もありますが、レオンと同じ指輪を左手子指にしていたから、そう言われているんですよね…？
There’s also a theory that the woman is Sherry, but isn’t that mainly because she was wearing the same ring as Leon on the pinky of her left hand？
…でも、それには意味があるのです。
…But there’s actually a meaning behind that.
実は…レオンとクレアは結婚したけれど… (バイオ９の時点で)何らかの理由でクレアが死んでしまった可能性が高いです💦
Actually…Leon and Claire mat have gotten married, but (by the time Resident Evil ９) There’s a strong possibility that Claire has already died for some reason💦
事故か病気か(もしかしたら今回のT-ウィルスのせいかも)？
Maybe an accident or an illness…or possibly even because of the T-virus this time？
だから、レオンは事件後に左手薬指に指輪をはめ直し、シェリーはクレアがしていた指輪を形見として左手小指にはめているのだと思います。
That’s why I think Leon put the ring back on his left ring finger after the incident, and Sherry is wearing Claire’s ring on the pinky of her left hand as a keepsake.
…実は2025年３月５日【気まぐれ１ページ漫画劇場！】 52 「レオクレ・ファーストコンタクト」で私はある予測を投稿していました。
Actually, on March ５, 2025, in 【Whimsical One-Page Manga Theater！】 52: Cleon First Contact, I posted a certain prediction.
あくまで噂レベルでしたが、新作バイオにおいてクレアの今後の存在・立ち位置が良くない方向に向かう(と、その時は濁しましたが)→死ぬという説が、ある海外のサイトにリークされていたのです。
It was only at the rumor level, but there had been a leak on an overseas website suggesting that, in the new Resident Evil title, Claire’s future role and position might head in a bad direction… (I phrased it vaguely at the time)ー in other words, a theory that she might die.
…だから、相手はクレア→しかし、既に死亡…という説はつじつまが合います。
…So, the theory that the woman is Claireー but that she has already diedー actually makes sense.
(ゲームの途中、シェリーのレオンへの口ぶりといい…そんな感じがします😢)
(Even the way Sherry speaks to Leon during the game…somehow gives that impression😢)
しかも、RE:２の裏編の真のエンディングを見れば、レオンはエイダよりクレアに心が傾いている描写がありました。
Also, if you watch the true ending of RE:２’s B scenario, there’s a moment that suggests Leon’s feelings are leaning more toward Claire than Ada.
シェリー自体もレオンにとっては保護する対象(出会いはシェリーが子供だったため)なので、違う気がするし… (ジェイクは～？ いなかったことに💦⁈)。
And for Leon, Sherry has always been someone he feels the need to protect (since she was just a child when they first met), so it doesn’t quite feel the same… (And Jake…？ Let’s just pretend he doesn’t exist 💦 ?!)
ラクーンシティを一緒に脱出した３人。特別な関係になるのも当たり前！
The three of them escaped Raccoon City together.
It’s only natural that they would share a special bond！
…シェリーがクレア以外の女性をレオンが選ぶのを許すはずがないでしょう⁉
And there’s no way Sherry would allow Leon to choose any woman other than Claire, right⁈
また…エイダは残念ながら、結婚相手としてありえないでしょう。
Also…unfortunately, Ada would be unlikely as a marriage partner.
バイオ９以降(それ以前からも)の黒幕側の組織の人間ですからね…。
After Resident Evil ９ (and even before that), she’s essentially on the side of the masterminds behind everything…
合衆国エージェントのレオンが、そんな人物と結婚できるわけありません！
There’s no way Leon, a U.S. government agent, could marry someone like that！
(もし…相手がエイダだったら、話のつじつまが合わなくなっちゃう…💦)
(If the woman were Ada, the whole story just wouldn’t make sense…💦)
…まぁ、ハニガン、アシュリー、全く知らない一般人の線は、まだ捨てきれませんが…💧
…Well, the possibilities of Hunnigan, Ashley, or even a completely unknown civilian can’t be ruled out just yet…💧
…とにかく、私はクレア説を推したいと思います。
…Anyway, I’d like to support the Claire theory.
このブログの最初の漫画でもレオクレを描いてましたしね💦
I even drew Cleon in the very first comic on this blog, after all💦
(最初は楽しく描いていたのですが、途中でレオンにガチ恋してしまって、レオクレを描かなくなっちゃったんですけどね～💧)
(At first, I was just drawing it for fun, but along the way I ended up seriously falling for Leon…so I stopped drawing Cleon💧)
バイオの女性キャラの中では、クレアが１番妥当だと思います‼
Among the female characters in Resident Evil, I think Claire is the most reasonable choice‼
(本当は誰でも嫌だけど～💧)
(Though honestly…I’d rather it be no one💧)
…だけど、カプコンも今回の匂わせ方が、あまりにも匂わせ過ぎてるので、ファンの反応によって結果を変えてくる可能性があります。
…But the way Capcom has been hinting at it this time feels a little too obvious, so there’s a chance they might change the outcome depending on the fan’s reactions.
あくまで様子見の匂わせのような…💧
It almost feels like they’re just dropping hints for now to see how things go…💧
…しかし、ここまで大風呂敷を広げ過ぎてしまったので、誰もが幸せになる結末を得られないことは、公式には少しでも分かってもらいたいものです‼
…However, they’ve already made the situation so big and dramatic that it’s impossible for everyone to get a happy ending.
I just hope the developers understand that, even if only a little‼
…と、ここまで私の説を長々と取り上げて来ましたが、ただの予想なので大ハズレの可能性大です💦
…So, I’ve gone on at length about my theory up to this point, but it’s just a prediction, so there’s a good chance I could be completely wrong💦

Since I’m someone who creates content like this as well, I can’t help but pay close attention to the quality of the story too💦
…最後のレオンがグレースに言った言葉…あれはないわ～💧と思いました💦
…And the last thing Leon said to Grace…I honestly thought, ‘No way…’💧
そんなことできるなら、全部のクリチャーにトドメを刺すなよ～💦
If he can say something like that, then why didn’t he finish off all the creatures too？💦
ご都合的過ぎるだろ～💧 と興ざめしました…。
It just felt way too convenient…and honestly kind of ruined the moment for me💧
公式作品が、物語の整合性を保てなきゃイカンでしょ～？
If it’s an official work, shouldn’t the story at least keep its internal consistency～？
今作も所々に、ん？ んん💦？ …というツッコミどころがあるのが残念でした…💧
Even in this installment…there were a few moments where I found myself going, ‘Huh？ Wait…what？💦’
It’s a bit disappointing that there are still those kinds of head-scratching moments…💧
【三白眼のレオンと薔薇】
(Leon’s Intense Eyes and Roses)
そんなこんなで「バイオ９」の出来事から、まだ立ち直っていない私ですが、今日も結婚話に全く関係ない若きレオンを描いてます♪
So, after everything that happened in Resident Evil ９, I still haven’t quite recovered yet…
But today I’m drawing a young Leon who has absolutely nothing to do with the whole marriage discussion♪
今回は、全て色鉛筆で仕上げた風にしてみました
This time, I tried giving the whole piece a colored- pencil finish
改めて、バイオ４のレオンに近づけるためにイラストの修正！
Once again, I made some adjustments to the illustration to brink Leon closer to his Resident Evil ４ look！
前回はレオンの襟足は刈上げに。
Last time, I gave Keon an undercut at the nape of his neck.
今回は、レオンといえば三白眼…という設定！
This time, I focused on the idea that Leon is known for having three whites showing in his eyes.
そのせいで目つきが悪く見えるんですよね💦
Because of that, his gaze can look a bit intimidating. 💦
…だけど、そこがまた格好良い
…But that’s exactly what makes him so cool
