今回は、約６か月ぶりの「ゲームブック」第２弾！

「ゲームブック」を読むのが初めての方…または第１話を見逃している方は、お手数ですが…第１話→2026年４月14日の記事をご参照してください。

This is the second installment of my “Game Book” series, coming about six month after the first one！

〈プロローグ〉 Prologue

「おい、レオン…ちょっといいか？」

デスクワークがひと通り片付いたレオンにマービンが声を掛ける。

「何ですか？マービン。」

「もう10月だな…。」 (遠い目をしながらポツリ…)

「…は、はぁ💦？」

急に何を言い出すんだ？顔のレオンに、マービンが容赦なく結論を突き付ける。

「毎年、ラクーン警察署のハロウィーンの飾りつけは、新人警官がすると決まっている…。」

「そ、そうなんですね…💧」

で？…と言いたげなレオンを見つめるマービン。

…しばらくの沈黙。

「つまり、レオンが飾りつけするってことなんだが？」

「ですよね～💦」 (…なんでオレがそんなことを？…って、この警察署…本当にイベントが好きだな～)

戸惑うレオンをいなすように、マービンが続ける。

「それは他の新人に任せて…レオンには探してもらいたいものがあるんだ…。」

「…？何でしょう💧⁈」

「実は２年前に、このイベントのために作った〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉が大好評で、去年も受付カウンターに飾ろうとしたら…見当たらないんだ💧」

「…誰かが、気に入って持ち帰ってしまったとか…ないんですか？」

「いや！警察署の経費で作ったものだから、誰かが持ち出したのはあり得ない‼ 大事にしまい過ぎて、どこに行ったのか分からなくなってしまったんだ💧」

「…それをオレが探す💧？絶対、警察署内にあるのは間違いないんですね⁈」

「あぁ！それは確かだ‼」

きっぱりと言い切るマービンに、レオンもその言葉を信じる…しかない💧

「…では、そのフィギュアの特徴を教えてください！」

「ただのフィギュアではない 〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉だ‼」

「………💧」 (そこはキッチリ言わないと気が済まないんだな💦？)

“Hey, Leon…got a minute？”

Marvin calls out to Leon, who has just finished up his paperwork.

“What is it, Marvin？”

“It’s October already…” (Marvin murｍurs, gazing off into the distance.)

“…Uh, what💦？”

Leon stares at him in confusion as Marvin bluntly delivers the inevitable conclusion.

“Every year, the Raccoon City Police Department’s Halloween decorations are handled by the rookie officers…”

“I-I see…💧”

Marvin stares at Leon as if to say, ‘And…？'”

…A long, awkward silence.

“So, that means you’ll be the one decorating, Leon”

“Yeah, I figured…💦” (Why do I have to do this？…Man, this police department really loves its events…💧)

Marvin continues, gently brushing off Leon’s confusion.

“Let the other rookies handle the decorations…There’s something I’d like you to find for me, Leon…

“…？ What is it💧？”

“Actually, the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure: Halloween Edition’ we made for this event two years ago was huge hit.

So, when we tried to put it on the reception counter again last year…it was nowhere to be found💧”

“Could it be that someone liked it so much that they took it home…？”

“No！ It was made with the police department’s funds, so there’s no way anyone could have taken it home！ We must have put it away so carefully that we lost track of where we stored it💧”

“So I’m supposed to find it💧？ You’re absolutely sure it’s somewhere inside the police station, right?!

“Absolutely！ Of that, I’m certain!!”

Faced with Marvin’s firm conviction, Leon has no choice but to trust him💧

“Then, please tell me what the figure looks like！”

“It’s not just any figure

It’s the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure: Halloween Edition’!!”

“………💧” (He really had to make sure I got the exact name, huh💦？)

「大きさは約30cmで、ラクーンくんがハロウィーンのかぼちゃを被っている。かぼちゃのマスクの下は、キミも知ってるように…いつも通りの服で、いつも通りのポーズをとっている…。」

「口頭の説明だけ～？画像とか残ってないんですか⁈…なかったら、イラストくらい描いてくれないんですか💦？」

「私がキャピキャピ♪ スマホで撮影したり…イラストを描くように見えるかね？」 (ギロリ)

「…し、しませんよね💧」 (そんなん…知らんがなっ)

「…そうだな。他の署員が画像を持ってるかもしれないな。…とにかく、いろいろと聞き込み調査してみてくれ！これも警察官として、良い経験になるだろう♪？」

「…は、はぁ💧」 (…こじつけすぎだろ～💧？)

上司命令なので、仕方なく引き受けるしかないレオン。

そんなレオンを可哀想に思ったのか、マービンがあることを思いつく。

「お～い、ケビン！どうせ暇だろうから、お前もレオンを手伝って…って、いな～い！」

さっきまでレオンの隣の机で(珍しく💧)黙々とデスクワークをしていたケビンの姿がありません…💧

「どうせ、アイツのことだ！自分に降りかかる火の粉を察知して逃亡したな⁈」

と、マービンがいつものように呆れたように呟く。

(こういう時のケビンの行動は音速💧)

いつも行動を共にしているレオンにとっては、慣れっこな出来事💧

「…オレ１人で大丈夫ですよ💧

さぁ、早速…捜査に行きますか～♪」

“The figure is about 30 cm tall, and Raccoon-kun is wearing a Halloween pumpkin on his head.

Under the pumpkin mask, as you know…he’s wearing his usual outfit and striking his usual pose…”

“Just a verbal description？

Don’t you have any pictures left?!…If not, couldn’t you at least draw me a picture💦？”

“Do I look like the kind of person who’d happily snap pictures on my phone…or draw illustrations？” (Glares)

“…N-No, I guess not💧” (How would I know？)

“…That’s true. Maybe another officer has a picture. Anyway, go around and ask everyone about it！ This will be good experience for you as a police officer, too♪”

“…O-Okay…💧” (Talk about stretching it…💧)

Since it’s another from his superior, Leon has no choice but to take on the job.

Perhaps feeling sorry for Leon, Marvin comes up with an idea.”

“Hey, Kevin！ You’re probably bored anyway, so why don’t you help Leon…Wait, he’s gone！”

Kevin, who had been unusually busy working quietly at the desk next to Leon’s until just moments ago, is nowhere to be found…💧

“Knowing him, he must’ve sensed the trouble coming his way and made a run for it！”

Marvin mutters in his usual exasperated tone.

(When it comes to situations like this, Kevin moves at the speed of sound💧)

For Leon, who is always around Kevin, this is nothing new💧

“…I’ll be fine on my own💧

Well then, shall we get started on the investigation♪？”

アイアンズ署長👿「…フン」

「…じゃ、そういうことで～」

その流れのまま運転席に乗り込んでしまうケビン💧

ケビンに逃げられ…Game Over. 〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を失ってしまいました…END.

” Chief Irons！ Please catch Kevin for me～！”

Chief Irons👿”…How dare you, rookie！ Are you giving me orders?!”

“N-No, that’s not what I meant💦”

“Exactly～♪ Hey, Leon！ Don’t go casually talking to the chief just because you’re a rookie!!”

Chief Irons👿 “…Hmph”

“…Well then, see ya～“

Kevin casually slips into the driver’s seat and drives off💧

Kevin has escaped…Game Over.

You have lost the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure: Halloween Edition’…END.

２. 驚異的な身体能力で、ケビンに追いつくレオン！

「捕ま～えた！」

「どぅ～わっ！」

ケビンの腰にトライ！地面に倒れ込む２人

その衝撃で壊れないように〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉も一緒に抱え込み、腕でカバーするレオン

倒れているケビンの腕から〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を拾い上げました♪

「やっと手に入った …長かった💦…確かに可愛いフィギュアだな～♪」

大事そうに腕に抱えながら、まじまじと〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を見つめるレオン。

「だろ～♪ …だから、それを転売して…」

「ダメです！もう…いい加減に馬鹿な考えはよして…マービンが待つ部署に戻りますよ⁈」

プンスカ怒りながら署内に戻ろうとするレオンに、年配の警備員が話しかけてくる…。

警備員「…ところで、ケビンくんは外に出るのかね？今、手続きしていたのだが…？」

「あ…💧 それはキャンセルで」

警備員「…じゃあ、そのキャンセルの手続きをしてもらわないと…💧」

「…そ、そうですよね💦 …それくらいケビンがやってください！って、あれ？」

また視界から消えるケビン💧

「まったくもうじゃあオレが一筆サインしておきますから！」

…と、近くの机の上に〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を不注意に置いてしまうレオン💦

「いっただき～♪」

物陰に隠れていたケビンが〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を抱えて逃亡

「あ！待て～‼ こんにゃろ～」

せっかく手に入ったのに、またしてもケビンと追っかけっこをするハメに💧

ケビンを追い、駐車場へ！ → 29へ！

Using his incredible athletic ability, Leon catches up with Kevin！

“Gotcha！”

“Whaーwhoa💦!”

Leon goes for Kevin’s waist, and the two of them tumble to the ground

Leon grabs the ‘Racoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition’ and shields it with his arms so it won’t get damaged by the impact

Leon picks up the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition’ from Kevin’s arms as he lies on the ground♪

“I finally got it …That took forever💦…It really is a cute figure♪”

Leon gazes intently at the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition,’ cradling it lovingly in his arms.

“Right♪？…So, you could resell it and…”

“No way！ Come on…enough with these stupid ideas already.

Let’s get back to the department. Marvin’s waiting for us, remember?!”

Leon storms back into the station, clearly annoyed

An older security guard calls out to him…

Security Guard: “…By the way, is Kevin going outside？ I was just processing the paperwork for him…”

“Oh…💧 In that case, please cancel it”

Security Guard: “…Then you’ll need to fill out the paperwork to cancel it…💧”

“…Y-Yeah, I guess you’re right💦 Kevin can handle something that simple…Huh?”

Kevin disappears from Leon’s sight again💧

“Seriously… Fine, I’ll sign the paperwork for him！”

And then, without thinking, Leon carelessly sets the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition’ down on a nearby desk💦

“I’ll take this♪”

Kevin, who had been hiding behind something, grabs the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition’ and makes a run for it

“Hey！ Get back here！ You little punk“

After finally getting his hands on the figure, Leon finds himself chasing Kevin all over again💧

Chasing Kevin into the parking lot！ → Go to 29！

３. クリスの助言から、２Ｆ西側リネン室にいるジルの元へ！

珍しく💧 ジルが S.T.A.R.S.全員分の洗って乾いたユニフォームをたたんでいる💦

「あら、レオンじゃあない♪？私に何の用？」

「実は…かくかくしかじか」

「…あったわね～！そんなフィギュア♪ 確かに可愛かったわ！…今は行方不明なのね💧

…画像？私は撮ってないわ。もしかしたら、バリーが持ってるかも？それかレベッカ？」

メインホール１Ｆ受付で雑談しているバリーに会いに行く？ → 11へ！

メインホール２Ｆ階段を昇っているレベッカに会いに行く？ → 26へ！

Following Chris’s advice, Leon heads to Jill, who is in the linen room on the west side of the second floor！

For once…Jill is folding the freshly washed and dried uniforms for the entire S.T.A.R.S. team💧

“Oh, Leon♪ What brings you here？”

“Actually…long story short…”

“…Oh yeah, I remember that figure♪ It really was cute！…But now it’s gone missing huh💧？

…A picture？ No, I didn’t take one. Maybe Barry has one？ Or Rebecca？”

Do you want to go see Barry, who’s chatting at the reception desk on the first floor of the main hall？ → Go to 11！

Or do you want to go see Rebecca, who’s walking up the stairs to the second floor of the main hall？ → Go to 26！

４．「エンリコさん！ケビンを捕まえてくださ～い💦‼」

「なんだ⁈ またお前ら迷惑コンビか💧？仕事中にフザけ合うのもいい加減にしろ‼」

「へへっいつもお騒がせして…サーセン♪」

「…分かれば、よろしい！」

「ちょ、待っ…！」

いつものことだと、簡単に見逃してしまうエンリコ💧

易々と車に乗り込んでしまうケビン

ケビンに逃げられ…Game Over. 〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を失ってしまいました…END.

“Enrico！ Please catch Kevin for me💦!!”

“What, you two troublemakers again💧？ Enough fooling around on the job already‼”

“Hehehe Sorry for always causing trouble♪“

“…As long as you understand！”

“Wait…！”

Enrico lets Kevin off the hook far too easily, thinking it’s just the usual thing💧

Kevin casually gets into his car

Kevin gets away…Game Over.

５. ケビンは、すぐにラクーン警察署の外に逃げると考えたレオン。

２Ｆ東側美術室から１番近い出口といえば…裏口！

やっと戻ってきた視界で、２Ｆ東側屋上を通り…大急ぎで階段を降ります‼

裏口へ向かうドアを開けると…ちょうど裏口の年配の警備員と話をしているケビンを発見💦

「そこのケビン！止まりなさ～い!!」

「やっべぇ💦 もう追いついてくるのかよ～？」 (本気を出したレオンの身体能力は異常💧)

退署手続きもままならないうちに、外へ出ようとするケビン！

レオン自身がケビンを捕まえる？ → ２へ！

警備員さんに任せる？ → 16へ！

Leon figured Kevin would make a run for it and leave the Raccoon Police Department immediately.

The nearest exit from the art room on the east side of the second floor is…the back entrance！

Now that his vision has finally returned, Leon rushes across the rooftop on the east side of the second floor and hurries down the stairs!!

Leon opens the door leading to the back entrance and…there’s Kevin, talking to the elderly security guard there💦

“Hey, Kevin！ Stop right there!!”

“Oh crap💦 You’re already catching up？” (Leon’s physical abilities are downright ridiculous when he gets serious💧)

Kevin tries to make it outside before he can even finish the checkout procedure！

Do you want Leon to catch Kevin himself？ → Go to ２！

Or leave it to the security guard？ → Go to 16！

６. S.T.A.R.S. オフィスに籠っているウェスカーの元へ！

「…こ、こんにちは～💦」

「…ギロッなんだね？私に何か用かね⁈」

「…じ、実は…かくかくしかじか💦」

「………はぁ(呆)　キミはそんなことのために、ここに来たのかね💧？」

「…すみません💧」 (オレも好きで、こんなことしてんじゃあないけど…)

「…そのフィギュアなら、１Ｆ西側資料室か２Ｆの東側美術室にあるんじゃあないのか？」

「確かに💧」 (ああいうものは倉庫にしまわれるはず…最初からそこに行けば良かった💦？)

１Ｆ西側資料室に行く？→ 28へ！

２Ｆ東側美術室に行く？→ 14へ！

Leon heads to Wesker, who is holed up in the S.T.A.R.S. office！

“…H-Hi there💦”

“…Glares What is it？ Dou you need something from me?!”

“…A-Actually…long story short…💦”

“…Sigh You came all the way here for something like that💧？”

“…Sorry💧” (It’s not like I’m doing this because I want to…)

“…That figure should be either in the records room on the west side of the first floor or the art room on the east side of the second floor, shouldn’t it？”

“You’re right💧” (Something loke that would probably be stored away in a storage room💦 Maybe I should’ve gone there in the first place？)

Go to the records room on the west side of the first floor？ → Go to 28！

Go to the art room on the east side of the second floor？ → Go to 14！

７. 「バリーさん！ケビンを捕まえてくれ～‼」

「は？いきなりなんだ💦？どういうことか、ちゃんと説明しろ💧」

「…そんなことしてる場合じゃあ…💦」

「…だからって、理由が分からないことには…なぁ💧」

案の定、説明してる間にケビンが運転席へ💧

あっさり、ケビンに逃げられ…Game Over. 〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を失ってしまいました…END.

“Barry！ Help me catch Kevin！”

“Huh？ What’s this all of a sudden💦？ Tell me what’s going on💧”

“…We don’t have time for this…💦”

“Yeah, but I can’t help you if I don’t know why💧”

Sure enough, where Leon is explaining everything, Kevin slips into the driver’s seat💧

Kevin gets away without a hitch…Game Over.

８. アイアンズ署長に会うために、２Ｆ東側署長室へ！

アイアンズ署長👿「こんなところで何やっているのかね？ルーキー風情がこんな場所に来るんじゃあない‼」

署長に怒られて Game Over…〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉は見つかりませんでした…END.

To meet Chief Irons, Leon heads to the Chief’s Office on the east side of the second floor！

Chief Irons👿: “What are you doing here？ A rookie like you has no business coming to a place like this!!”

Leon gets chewed out by the chief and it’s Game Over.

The ‘Raccoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition’ was never found…END.

９. 「クリス！ケビンを捕まえてくれ‼」

「ン？何だ？何だ💦⁈」

「よっ！クリスジルがあいつ(レオン)に気があるってよ~」

「…な！ぬぁんだって～⁈」

「そんなのケビンのでまかせですよ！」

簡単にケビンに翻弄されてしまったクリス💧

愕然としているクリスを横目に、ケビンが運転席に乗り込んで逃亡💦

ケビンに逃げられ…Game Over. 〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を失ってしまいました…END.

“Chris！ Help me catch Kevin!!”

“Huh？ What’s going on💦？”

“Hey, Chris Jill’s got a thing for Leon, you know“

“…W-Wait, WHAT⁈”

“That’s just something Kevin made up！”

Chris falls for Kevin’s story all too easily💧

While Chris stands there in shock, Kevin slips into the driver’s seat and makes his escape💦

Kevin gets away…Game Over.

You lost the ‘Raccoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition’…END.

10. 視界が戻り、やっとの思いで２Ｆ東側屋上に着くと、そこには誰の姿もない💦

しかし、レオンはつかつかと貯水タンクの裏に向かう

「そこにいるのは分かってます！いつもその物陰で居眠りしてるのをオレは知っているんですから‼」

すると、観念したのか…ひょいと顔を出すケビン💧

「…フン！そうだったな。」

「それを渡してください！…渡さないと、先輩だからって容赦しませんよ？」

「…やなこった！」

ケビンに飛びつく？ → 21へ！

〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉に飛びつく？ → 13へ！

しばらく様子を伺う？ → 27へ！

His vision restored, Leon finally makes it to the rooftop on the east side of the second floor, only to find no one there💦

But Leon confidently strides straight toward the back of the water tank

“I know you’re hiding there！ I know you always take naps behind that thing!!”

Then, perhaps realizing he’s been found, Kevin slowly peeks his head out💧

“…Hmph！ I guess you got me.”

“Hand it over！…If you don’t, I won’t go easy on you just because you’re my senior”

“No way！”

Do you jump at Kevin？ → Go to 21！

Do you jump at the ’Raccoon-kun Figure Halloween Edition’？ → Go to 13！

Do you wait and see what happens？ →　Go to 27！

11. 受付の若い女性とにこやかに世間話をしているバリーの元へ！

「おぅ！ルーキーじゃあないか♪ 元気にやってるか？」

「バリーさん、久しぶり♪ 実は…かくかくしかじか」

「…ラクーンくんのフィギュア？…知らないなぁ💧 ２年前のハロウィーン⁈ 覚えてないなぁ」

可愛いものに全く興味のないバリー💧 画像は、おろか…存在自体も知らなかったみたい。

「…だったら、ラクーン警察署の全てを知っているアイアンズ署長に直接聞いてみればいいんじゃあないか？」

バリーの言う通り、アイアンズ署長に直接会いに行く → ８へ！

Leon heads over to Barry, who is chatting cheerfully with the young woman at the reception desk！

“Hey！ Look who it is－ the rookie♪ How’s it going？”

“Barry, long time no see♪ Actually…long story short”

“A Raccoon-kun figure？…Never heard of it💧 Halloween two years ago？…Nope, can’t say I remember that either”

Barry has absolutely no interest in cute things💧 He didn’t even know what the figure looked like…or that it even existed.

“…In that case, why not ask Chief Irons directly？ He knows everything there is to know about the Raccoon Police Department.”

Following Barry’s advice, go directly to Chief Irons → Go to ８！

12. 「ウェスカーさん！ケビンを止めてください‼」

一瞬、足を止めて…レオンとケビンを眺めて状況を判断。

しかし、何事もなかったかのように…スッと通り過ぎようとするウェスカー💧

「…なんで無視するんですか？」

「どうせいつもの貴様らの…おフザケだろうと思って…💧」

(確かに！こんなケビンとのやり取り…ウェスカーに何度も目撃されている💦 日頃の行いが悪かったか～)

そうしているうちにケビンが運転席に乗り込んでしまう💧

ケビンに逃げられ…Game Over. 〈ラクーンくんフィギュアハロウィーンバージョン〉を失ってしまいました…END.

“Wesker！ Please stop Kevin!!”

Wesker stops for a moment, looking between Leon and Kevin as he assesses the situation.

But then, as if nothing is happening…Wesker casually walks right past them💧

“Why are you ignoring me？”

“I assumed it was just you two fooling around as usual…💧”

運転席に乗り込まれる前に捕まえないと‼

…しかし、野生の勘が鋭いケビン💧 追いかけてきたレオンに気づいてしまう！

すると、ケビンの近くに‼

クリスが現れた！ → ９へ！

ジルが現れた！ → 23へ！

バリーが現れた！ → ７へ！

レベッカが現れた！ → 20へ！

ウェスカーが現れた！ → 12へ！

リチャードが現れた！ → 25へ！

エンリコが現れた！ → ４へ！

マービンが現れた！ → 18へ！

親友アークが現れた！ → 15へ！

アイアンズ署長が現れた！ →１へ！

誰が来たとしても、レオン自身で決着をつける？ → 19へ！

Leon figures Kevin is going to escape by car, so he heads to the parking garage beneath Raccoon Police Station!

Sure enough, he spots Kevin just as he is trying to load the Raccoon-kun Halloween Edition figure into the trunk of his car!

Leon has to catch him before he gets into the driver’s seat‼

…But Kevin has incredibly sharp instincts. 💧 He notices Leon coming after him!

And then, suddenly, someone appears near Kevin‼

アイアンズ署長も２年前を思い出したように…それを気に入り、ケビンみたいな不届き者を出さないためにも、所有権はラクーン警察署として、毎年飾るようにルールが定められました♪

これで毎年恒例の「ラクーン警察署ハロウィーン🎃」も大盛り上がること間違いなし！

ラクーンシティに住む子供たちもお菓子をもらいに、喜んで来てくれることでしょう

そして、今回も大活躍だったレオン、手伝ってくれた(？) R.P.D. の人たち、親友アーク、騒動の元凶💧ケビンも…みんな仲良く

Just as everyone hoped, it is placed on the front desk in the main hall, where everyone can see it best every day

Chief Irons seems to remember how much he liked it two years ago, too… and he takes quite a liking to it again. To prevent troublemakers like Kevin from causing problems, ownership is officially transferred to the Raccoon Police Department, and a rule is established that the figure will be displayed every year♪

With that, the annual “Raccoon Police Department Halloween🎃” is sure to become a huge hit every year!

The children of Raccoon City will surely be delighted to come by and collect some candy♪♫

And Leon, who once again played a huge part in solving the whole mess, the R.P.D. officers who helped him (?), his best friend Ark, and even Kevin—the troublemaker who started this whole fiasco. 💧
