〈カードの詳細〉 Card details
ペンタクルの２…２つの価値観が存在していることを意味しています。
The Two of Pentacles represents the existence of two different sets of values.
どちらも大切なもので、どちらも善し悪しはつけられないもの。
Both are important, and neither can be judged as simply right or wrong.
２つの価値観の違いを行き来しながら、その状況を楽しんでいる様子を表しています。
It depicts someone moving back and forth between these two perspectives, enjoying the situation as they navigate the differences.
いつものように、その「ペンタクル」をS.T.A.R.S.のマークに描き替えてみました。
As always, I’ve replaced the pentacles with the S.T.R.R.S. emblem.
２つのペンタクルを持つレオン…本物のタロットカードでは、ピエロのような若者が両手に持ったペンタクルで、バランスをとって遊んでいるかのように描かれています。
Leon holding two pentacles…In the original tarot card, a young man dressed like a jester is depicted balancing two pentacles in his hands, as if playfully juggling them.
とても陽気で楽しそうです♪
He looks very cheerful and as though he’s truly enjoying himself.
それを道化のような服を着た…陽気そうなレオンに描き替えてみました💧
I reimagined that figure as Leon, dressed in jester-like clothing, with a similarly lighthearted and playful expression.
レオンの周りにある無限のマーク…この∞のマークは２つのペンタクルを繋いでる紐で、永遠を意味しています。
The infinity symbol surrounding Leon…this ∞ mark is formed by the cord connecting the two pentacles, representing eternity.
レオンがこのペンタクルを回す(２つの価値観を楽しむ)遊びを終わらせるつもりはないことを意味しています。
It signifies that Leon has no intention of stopping this playful act of spinning the pentacles－ in other words, enjoying the balance between two different values.
つまり、どちらも上手く回せる＝器用ということですね。
Simply put, it shows that he can keep both in motion skillfully－ he’s truly adept at handling them.
大波に揺れているクイーン・ゼノビアとクイーン・セミラミス…本物のタロットカードでは、大波の中、大きな船が２隻浮かんでいます。
The Queen Zenobia and The Queen Semiramis being tossed by massive waves…In the original tarot card, two large ships are shown floating amid rough seas.
物事のバランスを考えず、いたずらに取り組むと失敗することを警告してくれているのかもしれません。
It may be a warning that if you take action without considering balance, you could end up failing unnecessarily.
そうなると、この船は大波に呑まれ、転覆してしまいます。
In such a case, the ships would be swallowed by the towering waves and ultimately capsize.
それを、バイオハザード リベレーションズに登場した豪華客船クイーン・ゼノビアとクイーン・セミラミスに描き替えてみました。
I imagined those ships as the luxury lines Queen Zenobia and Queen Semiramis from Resident Evil: Revelations.
レオンの着ている服と背景…レオンの背景には青空が広がっていて、大波の海も水色で表現されています。
Leon’s outfit and the background…Behind him stretches a bright blue sky, and even the rough waves are rendered in light blue tones.
水色は、高い精神性や静寂、女性性を意味しています。
Light blue symbolizes higher spirituality, tranquility, and femininity.
一方、レオンの服装は赤やオレンジ。
In contrast, Leon’s clothing is red and orange.
赤は情熱と男性性、オレンジはアクティブに動けることを表しています。
Red represents passion and masculinity, while orange signifies energy ang the ability to act boldly.
背景と服の色の種類が真逆で…そのことで分かる通り、このレオンが２つの価値観を持っていることを意味しています。
The stark contrast between the colors of the background and his attire makes it clear that this Leon embodies two opposing sets of values.
