カードの意味 Card Meaning
〈正位置〉 Upright
青天の霹靂・急展開・予期せぬトラブル・突発的アクシデント・困難な状況
Sudden shock/Rapid upheaval/Unexpected trouble/Disruptive accident/Challenging situation
〈逆位置〉 Reversed
くすぶっていた問題の噴出・強いショック・邪魔が入る・過去を清算・浄化
Sudden eruption of suppressed problems/Strong shock/Interference or obstacles/Setting the past/Purification

〈カードの詳細〉 Card details
数字の「16」…「16」の数字は「1」と「6」で出来ています。
The number 16…’16’ is made up of ‘１’ and ‘６.’
それを足した「7」は霊的な領域やサイクルを意味しています。
Adding them gives ‘７,’ which represents the spiritual realm and cycles.
天があなたに新しいサイクルが来たことを告げています。
The heavens are signaling that a new cycle has begun for you.
塔…旧約聖書の「バベルの塔」が描かれています。
The Tower…Depicts the ‘Tower of Babel’ from the Old Testament.
これまで、積み上げてきたもの、築き上げてきたものの象徴です。
It symbolizes everything’s you’ve built or achieved so far.
それが崩れ去っていくことを暗示しています。
It foreshadows that these foundations may soon crumble.
雷…「警告する」という意味の他に、ひらめきやインスピレーションを表すシンボルです。
Lightning…Besides symbolizing ‘warning,’ it also represents inspiration and sudden insight.
雷を色付ける黄色は「良い変化」・「祝福」を表すため、「天からの教え」とも受け取ることが出来ます。
The yellow color of the lightning signifies ‘positive change’ and ‘blessings,’ and can be interpreted as ‘ a lesson from the heavens.’
王冠…塔の上に飾られていた「王冠」。地位や権威を象徴しています。
Crown…A crown placed atop the tower, symbolizing status and authority.
築き上げたものが、思わぬ方向から壊されることを意味しています。
It signifies that what you’ve built may be destroyed from an unexpected direction.
バイオ仕様にするために、王冠のエンブレムの部分に「アンブレラ」のマークを入れてみました。
To give it a Resident Evil twist, I added the ‘Umbrella logo’ to the crown’s emblem.
世界的規模の製薬会社「アンブレラ」の崩壊を表しています。
It represents the collapse of the global pharmaceutical company ‘Umbrella.’
火の粉…飛び散る火の粉は、大アルカナの枚数と同じ「22」個、降り注いでいます。
Sparks…The flying sparks, numbering 22 to match the Major Arcana, are raining down.
「ヨッド」と呼ばれるヘブライ文字の形をしていて、この雷が天の力によるものであることを表しています。
They take the shape of the Hebrew letter7 Yod,’ indicating that this lightning comes from a divine, heavenly power.
塔から真っ逆さまに落ちている人々…神に近づこうと、天まで届く「バベルの塔」を建てた人間は、その傲慢さから神の怒りを買い、神の力によって、互いに言葉が通じなくなってしまいました。
People falling headfirst from the tower…According to the Bible, humans built the ‘ Tower of Babel’ to reach the heavens, and in their arrogance, incurred God’s wrath.
God caused them to no longer understand one another’s language.
そのため、人々は意思疎通ができず混乱し、やがて世界に散り散りになった。…と聖書ではいわれています。
As result, people were unable to communicate, fell into chaos, and eventually scattered across the world.
実際のタロットカードでは、その衝撃を真っ逆さまに落ちる人間で表しています。
In traditional tarot, this shock is depicted as people plummeting headfirst.
それをレオンとエイダに描き替えてみました。
Here, I’ve reimagined them as Leon and Ada.
2人とも、独自のフックショットを飛ばして、落下を食い止めているので安心ですね♪
Both use their own hook shots to stop their fall, so it’s safe♪
(オリジナルバイオ４でフックショットを使うシーンがお互いにありましたよね！)
(In the original Resident Evil４, there are scenes where both of them use hook shots！)
今回は、こんな感じのカードになりました。
This is how the card turned out.
高いところから落ちても、備えているこの２人なら大丈夫！と思っていたので、「塔のカード」は最初からレオンとエイダをモデルにしようと決めていました。
Even falling from a great height, I thought these two would be fine since they’re prepared！
That’s why I decided from the start to feature Leon and Ada on the ‘Tower’ card.
…以前エイダが嫌いになったと言いましたが、「バイオ６」からのエイダが嫌いなだけで、その前の「バイオ４」、「バイオ２」のエイダは好きだったんですよ…😢。
…Previously, I said I didn’t like Ada, but that’s only the Ada from ‘Resident Evil ６.’
I actually liked the Ada from ‘Resident Evil ４’ and ‘ Resident Evil ２’…😢
美人だし、スタイルも良いし✨ なにせ、クールで格好良かった…！
She’s beautiful, has a great figure✨ and, above all, she was cool and stylish…！
まぁ、私の個人的意見と好みなんで…どうこう言われても、しょうがないことですけどね…😓
Well, that’s just my personal opinion and taste, so there’s nothing to argue about…😓
今回もタロットカードの世界を壊さずに、「バイオ」の世界観も取り込めたので良かったです♪
I’m glad that this time, I was able to incorporate the ‘Resident Evil’ worldview without breaking the Tarot card’s world♪
