数字の「12」…「12」は完結。12ヵ月、十二支、12星座などの１つの流れの終わりの意味で、完全であることを表します。

The number 12…’12’ signifies completion.

It represents the end of a cycleー such as the 12 months, the twelve signs of the zodiac, and the twelve animals of the zodiacー and therefore symbolizes wholeness and fulfillment.

木に吊るされているレオン…本物のタロットカードでは、青色の服と赤いタイツを身に着けた男が吊るされています。

Leon hanging from a tree…In the original tarot card, a man dressed in blue clothing and red tights is shown suspended upside down.

青は、男の内面の静寂や高い精神性を、赤は激しい情熱を表しています。

Blue represents his inner calm and high spirituality, while red signifies intense passion.

この男は、辛い体勢であるにも関わらず表情が穏やかなのは、この辛さを納得して受け入れているから。

Despite the painful position, his expression remains serene because he accepts this hardship willingly.

逆さになったことで視点が変わり、新しい価値観が得られるということを示唆しています。

By being turned upside down, his perspective changes, suggesting the gaining of a new outlook and values.

それを、バイオ２のレオンに描き替えてみました。

I reimagined this figure as Leon from Resident Evil ２.

レオンにとっても、あの「ラクーン事件」が彼の人生で最初の試練で、このカードとリンクするところがあるなぁ…と思ったからです。

For Leon as well, that ’Raccoon Incident’ was the first great trial of his life, and I felt there was a strong connection to the meaning of this card.

後光・光の輪…レオンの頭にある後光は、悟りの象徴です。レオンが高い精神レベルに到達していることを表しています。

Halo・ radiant ring…The halo above Leon’s head is a symbol of enlightenment.

It represents that Leon has reached a high level of spiritual awareness.

T(タウ)十字…レオンが吊るされている木は、ヘブライ語の最終文字であるT(タウ)の形をしています。Tは真実や光、善の言葉を意味しています。

Tau (T)Cross…The tree from which Leon is suspended is shaped like the Hebrew letter T (Tau), the final letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

The letter T signifies truth, light. and words of goodness.

葉が茂る木…木に茂っている緑の葉は、生命力や希望を象徴します。レオンのこれからの成長の伸びしろの長さを表しています。

今回もアイテムが少なかったのですが、「吊るされた男」と「ラクーン事件」時のレオンがリンクして、カードの中にバイオの世界観を上手く出せたと思います♪

There weren’t many items to work with this time either, but I think I was able to successfully bring the world Resident Evil into the card by linking ‘The Hanged Man’ with Leon during the Raccoon Incident. ♪

レオンが吊るされて可哀想に見えますが、これは自ら望んだ修行のため！…温かい目で見守ってあげてください💧

Leon may look pitiful hanging there, but this is a trial he chose of his own will！

…So please watch over him with warm eyes. 💧
