カードの意味 Card Meaning

それでは細かい解説をしていきます。
Now, let’s go into a more detailed explanation.
数字の３…「3」は１つのものと１つのものが融合して、新しいものが生産されるということや、生命の誕生を表しています。
The number ３…it represents two things coming together to create something new, as well as the birth of life.
12の星でできた冠…12の星は黄道12星座を意味しています。
The crown made of twelve stars…the twelve stars represent the twelve signs of the zodiac.
その冠を被る「女帝」は偉大な宇宙の生みの親であることを表しています。
The Empress wearing this crown symbolizes her as the great mother who gives birth to the universe.
右手で掲げられた杖…その杖には宝玉が乗っていて、優しさや包容力を意味しています。
The staff held up in her right hand…it is topped with a jewel, symbolizing kindness and nurturing.
その宝玉を「S.T.A.R.S.マーク」に変えてみました。
I replaced that jewel with the S.T.A.R.S. emblem.
玉座…「女帝」がゆったりと心地良く座っている玉座は、豊かさと繁栄を表しています。
The throne…the throne on which the Empress sits comfortably and at ease represents abundance and prosperity.
ハート型の盾…ハートは人の心を意味し、♀マークは金星のシンボルマークで愛や美を表しています。
The heart-shaped shield…the heart represents the human mind, and the ♀ symbol is the symbol of Venus, representing love and beauty.
この盾でその愛と美を受け止める力を「女帝」は持っているということですね。
This shield shows that the Empress has the power to receive and protect that love and beauty.
今回はそのマークを「S.T.A.R.S.のマーク」に変えてみました。
This time, I replaced that symbol with the S.T.A.R.S. emblem.
穀物畑…麦穂などの穀物は多産の神、地母神を意味します。
The field of grain…crops such as wheat symbolize fertility gods and the Earth Mother.
今回も(バイオハザードといえばお馴染みの)ハーブ畑に描き替えました。
Once again, I replaced it with a field of herbs, so familiar in Resident Evil.
想像していた人もいらっしゃると思いますが…やっぱりこの「女帝」のカードはジル・バレンタインしかない！と思いました。
Some of you may have already guessed it, but I felt that for this ‘Empress’ card, it had to be Jill Valentine！
ジルの偉大さ、包容力…まさにイメージ通りですね♪
Jill’s greatness and nurturing nature…it’s exactly how I imagined it♪
今回はバイオハザード仕様に変化させるアイテムが乏しかったので、ジルの後ろにクリスとレオンを登場させちゃいました。
This time, there weren’t many items to convert into a Resident Evil style, so I added Chris and Leon behind Jill.
あまりにも目立ってしまったら、カードの持つ本来の意味が変わってしまいそうなので…なるべく目立たなく描いたつもりですが…さすがバイオの主人公…やっぱり目を引いてしまいます💧
If they stood out too much, it felt like the card’s original meaning might change, so I tried to draw them as inconspicuously as possible…but as expected of Resident Evil protagonists, they still end up drawing attention💧
でも、ジルがそれ以上に目立ってるから、これはこれで「まぁいっか～♪」とそのまま仕上げちゃいました。
But since Jill stands out even more than they do, I ended up thinking, ‘Well, that works too♪,’ and finished it as it is.
